There's a police officer that sits in the parking lot and supervises/security but the building is literally shut down. There's no 24 seven pantry there is a liquor store in a big parking lot/strip mall and there's nobody around, the police patrol the parking lot probably because people from out of town come here as expecting. They are going to be able to go in here and get something nice. Yeah they don't. I don't think that's very nice that they advertise this and you don't get what you're looking for it's low-key, I was going to go here to get some snacks and look around and I was so disappointed when I seen the place was shut down they shouldn't advertise that this place is still open online because I guarantee there people that come from all around trying to go here and they waste their time and gas don't go to this place. 100% not worth it ...

There was no line, no customers behind me, it was slow and 30-45 min from closing time. She's still on the clock. You represent CVS, your the face for CVS. I mainly go to Pride for their gas pumps. They have a great app - if you pay for your gas using the…read moreapp, you get a discount. They tend to have lower pricing than other gas stations in the area, too. Their convenience store has ample and varied stock. Their liquor tends to be good quality at reasonable prices. They still have their restaurant but we haven't eaten there in several years so I can't speak to that. The only issue is if you have to make a left turn out of their parking lot. Turning left across three lanes of cross traffic on Algonquin and Roselle Roads can be treacherous. You're better off making a right, then making a u-turn.

So, if I need a prescription right away (and can't be mail ordered), I go to Walgreens. They do have a large selection of convenience items, toiletries, and even liquors. However, their prices are on the higher side. If I do have to pick something up at Walgreens, having such a wide variety of other items is just convenient. What is problematic is their staffing, particularly in their pharmacy. There is always a wait, whether you use their drive through or pick it up in the store. I feel badly for their pharmacists and Walgreens should consider adding staff to stores where there are long waits.
