Ive been going to this Walgreens for years! They take an hour minimum to get a prescription! Dont waste your time. Go to another location!

The stars are all for Jack the pharmacist. Jack is truly amazing--there's no other way to put it. He consistently goes above and beyond, always with a big smile and an incredible amount of patience and care. Today, when other team members were ready to say the prescription couldn't be fixed, Jack stepped in. He contacted the doctor, ensured everything was in order, and made sure we got exactly what we needed. If there were an award for the best pharmacist, Jack would undoubtedly deserve it! read more

Love it when these places mark up the price so they can display a coupon price like they offer great discounts. Had to go to (in my case get) the app to access said coupon. Great pharmacy...helpful staff...good service...good hours since I go to work early...will help with discount coupons

The Pharmacy and it's staff are wonderful but the management has totally ruined the store portion when they remodeled the store. It's to bad because I really like the staff that checks me out in both parts of the store and the Pharmacist and their staff but adding the clinic has ruined the store. They have apparently reduced their inventory and I can't find many of the items like shampoo I used to purchase here. I also don't like going somewhere that shares an entrance with sick people where I have to expose myself every week to sick people. I also have a problem with the remote filling of my prescriptions especially when I haven't ordered them and tell them over and over not to fill them. It is very irritating! read more

Pharmacists saw us waiting for 15+ minutes in the pharmacy waiting area as they ignored us, then once they addressed us, told us to go outside for COVID testing. Sat in car in line for 7 minutes, to drive to window where they informed us it was too late to be tested. In other words majorly wasted our time. Did I mention we drove 22 miles to get to the only testing center available? Seriously poor performance. Net net - 0. Stars. Horrible experience making a bad situation worse! read more

I just wanna give a shout-out to the pharmacy girl who attended me and decided to embarrass me around other customers. Saying something that's personal out load is the worst customer service thing to do. I hope you read this and learn from your mistakes and do not assume things because it was your mistake not mine. The Stacy Rd Walgreens is the most unmanaged store I have been to with the only exception of Dillards on Stacy Rd. Maybe it's a Stacy Rd thing but the workers seem lazy and not very helpful. read more

After years with Walgreens, we will be switching to CVS. The main reason - it has taken too much of my life waiting their lines! If there is more than 1 car in the drive up, we know it will take 5-15 minutes before I am serviced so we go inside. There is always a line inside too. They have inadequate help or bad workflow, as I've not had this experience at other pharmacies at all (or only periodically, not every time). The straw that broke the camels back though was when I had just one car ahead of me in the drive-up lane last week. I waited for 25 minutes in my car behind this person!!!! I finally bit the bullet and went into the store and stood in line for another 10 minutes. When I finally picked up my RX (took 2 minutes for that), I told them that I was waiting for 25 minutes behind the car that was still clearly being helped. They snapped at me and said "he's taking a COVID test!". I said that they shouldn't get to hold up the whole line for it, why don't you just text them the results!? No response, just glares. And if they can't do that, from a process standpoint, they should somehow let the people queued up behind them know that they are taking a test and it could be a while. That way, they at least know to come inside. Have a sign that says "Testing in Progress". You wasted 45 minutes of my day for something that should have taken 5 minutes and then you were insulting to me when I nicely brought it up! So, poor customer service, poor response times and poor queuing processes have lost them one more customer. read more

This is the second time I have had to tell these people to check their own voice mail. My prescription was called in at 9am. It is 5pm and since they dont answer the do for line, the doctor has to leave a message. Since I waited in vain for the text notifying me, I finally come down here and guess what, no one bothers to check the voice mail! read more

I dropped in here for a soda and a snack during the Texas Stampede rodeo at the nearby Allen Event Center. It's really like any modern Walgreens, spacious, well laid out, well lit and very clean. The registers are to your right as you come in the door, with the pharmacy in the left rear. I was able to make my selections and checkout rather quickly. Located on the southeast corner of Stacy and Greenville, it can be tricky upon egress if you're trying to go west on Stacy; oncoming traffic from the east can be heavy and you might have to rely on the kindness of your fellow driver to get out. read more

What sets this Walgreens pharmacy apart is their commitment to professionalism, respect, and concern for their customers. I placed an order on the app for two photos to pick up in store while I was running errands. I never got a notification saying that my Ofer was ready to pick up. 4 hours later I call just to check up on my order to see if they were ready and the woman who answered the phone answered me back with "well ya, they've been ready." Like it was obvious for me to know that. When there have been multiple times I e ordered from Walgreens or CVS and they are backed up on orders. I hung up to call back and talk to a manager, turns out she was the manager. What a disappointment in leadership and customer service skills. Will definitely drive out of my way to another location or competitor! read more

There were two employees (one associate and one pharmacist?) at the pharmacy when I went there for my booster shot and both of them were rude. They were both in a bad mood like their store manager or some higher up berated them at the start of the day. There was no basic greeting of "hi, how are you? and "thank you, have a good day" during and after my business. read more

Walgreens is the kind of nightmare establishment that doesn't bother to hide its low regard of their customer base. We received an automated call for a medication. The automated call informed us that the medication in question was suddenly hundreds of dollars more than we'd paid just a few weeks before. Why couldn't Walgreens give us sufficient notice of the shockingly sudden rise in price? Our guess is so that we didn't have enough time to switch pharmacies. To continue our story: getting on line to talk to the pharmacist/associate at the store or going through the drive-thru is a nightmare since the wait is, without fail, over half hour. Then, you are met with an employee who hates their job, and you are made to pay for their misery. So, we called, as dealing with a miserable employee is somewhat easier on the phone. After going through their automated answering service's maze of numbers to press, we were given a message that stated that we had "more than 3 callers ahead of" us. Why can't they tell their customers exactly how many callers are on cue so the customer can figure out if they are willing/able to wait? This demonstrates Walgreens lack of respect for their customers' time. After we were on hold for over half an hour, the pharmacy picked up and then unsurprisingly hung up before we could even get in a hello.... Look elsewhere for your pharmaceutical needs. read more

Some convenience stores you go to make you wonder if they remembered part of their value is convenience. This is one of those stores. It may be newer, but what it has in terms of new it balances with an equal dose of inconvenience and slowness. It has an unnecessarily winding entrance and exit off of Greenville with speed bumps. It has clerks who are quick to welcome you, but are super slow to attend to you when ready to check out. There's a CVS down the street that is much better. I hope this Walgreen's closes down and their employees and manager are forced to learn customer service. read more

Love this Walgreens! It is newer and clean. The bathrooms were clean and did not smell disgusting, which is the only time I can think of bathrooms at a Walgreens actually being clean! The pharmacy staff was great and competent, which is sometimes hard to find at a pharmacy. Initially, I completed a refill request on my phone through the Walgreen's app, and I knew the pharmacy would have to request the refill from the doctor, so figured it could take a day or two. After 2 days, I called the pharmacy, and something had went wrong with the refill request. He put it through and less than 30 minutes later I had an email that the prescription was ready. I picked it up the next day and had a paper prescription to put in. I asked if I could wait for it, and the technician told me it would only take a couple minutes to get ready. She was correct, and a small issue with the refill (they had filled a one month supply when the prescription said 3 months supply) was quickly fixed. The technician even looked up the cost of one of the medications for my cat (who is not covered by insurance) to see if it would be cheaper elsewhere (even though she was not supposed to), but it was cheapest at Walgreens. Will definitely be getting all my prescriptions at this Walgreens from now on. read more

the staff was amazing! we came to take passport photos and the guy completely dropped everything to help us, the guy checking us out was so sweet and one of the ladies went through the inventory to find us the last propane tank they had when we didn't even know they had propane & we're going to go somewhere else! this made our day because customer service has went downhill since covid read more

It's a Walgreen's. They're all the same. It is clean and has everything every other Walgreen's has. This one, however, has really crappy store hours. What kind of drugstore closes at 10pm on a Friday/Saturday night? Last month they texted me that my prescription was ready so I drive over here only to find out that it wouldn't be ready until the next day. Why the hell did you text me then?? There are also way too many speedbumps in the parking lot and you can't exit directly out on Stacy road going West legally which pretty much everyone needs to do. read more

From the looks of some of the other reviews, it looks like there is a great deal of difference of opinions. First of all, are you kidding me???, the complaint about the winding entrance and speed bumps?? REALLY? How fast do you need to go in a parking lot? If that's a reason to go to CVS well.....that's all I've go to say about that. My experience was much different. After searching several stores for my particular script, they had it and made every effort to get me in and out. Kudos to the whole staff. They were professional and very helpful! The store clerks are friendly enough but their pharmacy staff is utterly incompetent. The wait is always long as they struggle to complete simple transactions or locate misplaced scripts. On top of the wait, I've also been overcharged and had to argue the existence of a generic. Do yourself a HUGE favor and try the CVS right down the street. You will be out of there in less than half the time! read more

This particular Walgreens has the two best Pharmacists I've ever had the pleasure of meeting and I've worked with several pharmacists. I am a former employee but have never worked at this location but the pharmacy Manager and the other pharmacist go above and beyond to make sure you are well taken care of and satisfied. The pharmacy techs are just as friendly with great customer service skills. Since I no longer work for Walgreens and actually despise some of the corporate employees if it wasn't for the pharmacists at this location, I would take my scripts elsewhere. I will not allow my opinion of a lying and deceitful corporate employee take away the recognition this location deserves. read more
