We paid for 4 cups of ice we were getting our ice filled up up as we are heading into the storms. My husband had a free large hot drink on his app so he got his free hot drink. I had on my app a free medium hot drink. The two Hispanic ladies at the register were being very rude the thinner lady said that we are not a truck stop you guys are only here to get free things. She came out from behind the counter being very rude telling us we have to pay for the ice in our containers. Then a manager lady with very very short hair said we have to pay $.54 per cup of ice that filled our drink containers. Then the thinner girl got in my husbands face and said just cause you are a big and fat and a truck driver does not give you the right to get free ice. Then said we are not allowed back into the maverick. We have never had this type of experience they treated us like we were criminals. There was another Hispanic customer filling up his own container with ice they did not say anything to him. I asked her for the restroom key, and she said I would have to wait until she went back behind the counter, she was busy doing something. I waited, did a little peepee dance, someone else came up to use the restroom, a man got in line to check out, and then a woman got in line to check out. So there were 2 people waiting for the restroom key, and 2 people waiting for her to check them out at the register. She finally gave me the key to the bathroom after she finished flipping all the signs around from breakfast items to lunch items in the hot box. The guy waiting behind me for the restroom gave up, and the two people waiting for her to check them out seemed pretty impatient as well. I would recommend going somewhere else for gas and/or convenience store items. Who knows how long you'll have to wait to be checked out.
