The breading on the shrimp stayed crispy and they packed a lot of shrimp in that street taco. The asada was well seasoned and had a nice char. I do wish the asada was cut a little thicker but still very good! The suadero had great seasoning and flavor. The only taco I wasn't a fan of was the Al pastor. It was too goopy and no char. Long story short, unseasoned. Flavorless. Poor service. I called others to tell them NOT to come here. There was an extended wait receiving our order. However I did notice a particular group of people were serviced before us although they placed their order AFTER us which didn't quite sit well with me. So I ensured to take my food home, I'd rather not be in that ambience.The food is the most important after all. I ensured to check all of my food, over 40.00 worth before leaving no room for error after a long day of work although i live less than 10 minutes away I'd rather not have to travel back. All food was secure. It smelled great the ride home! After arriving home first thing I tasted that taco and it was highly mid..... I'm not sure who's out here rating this high but that's another story for another day. Took a shower, dressed down, take two bites into my mediocre tacos and I'm chewing something HARD.... Couldn't place it. Spit it out and it's attached to the meat, straight bone in my pastor tacos looked like a lil tooth, I'm sure it wasn't but that's another story bone along with the flavorless tacos and salsa was more than enough for me to say NOPE. There's several tables and chairs with space heaters and umbrellas to sit and eat at the truck. Festive mariachi music places from a speaker in the far corner of the seating area. Service is really friendly. We asked a lot of questions, this being our first time. Our server's favorite meat is Lengua (tongue). I decided to try their brisket, suadero, the pastor (pork in sweet pineapple marinade), and the pollo. We ordered: - Carne Asada Burrito x2 (Hubs & daughter said asada was good) - 4 street tacos - 2 Carne Asada, 2 Pollo (hubs like chicken the best) - 3 street tacos - pastor, pollo, suadero (chicken is my favorite of these - very tasty) - Pollo Torta - light fresh bread roll with avocado, tomato, lettuce, and chicken (this was quite a delicious combo. GOOD BYE WALDOS Disappointed again we gave it a try to see if they had improved since the last review I left 9 months ago after being a loyal customer for years. Again we were highly disappointed. We ordered our favorite carne asada tacos. The meat was cut into huge chunks it was extremely dry and flavorless. We won't ever come back here unfortunately. This was one of our spots for years since they were by the paint store. Honestly most of the people that we referred there are also not happy with the meat either. If you live in Phoenix you know what's up. This place has been up and down this road and stayed consistent through the years. Taco Tuesday doesn't get better than this. Hell, any given day that ends in 'y' Plenty of seating. Prepare for a line or you may get lucky and be the first one. Regardless it's worth the stop. I'd recommend the green salsa. This place is fantastic. A little difficult to find but so worth the hunt. I got 2 asada, a pastor, and a tripas taco. It is so difficult to find tripas so when I found out they had it, I was there. They came through in a perfect way. Little bites of perfectly fried goodness. A close second to the ones my girlfriend's dad makes. The asada and pastor weren't anything special but for 2 bucks each totally worth it and we're flavorful enough that I have no real complaints. I did love the corn tortillas and both the reds and green salsa. This place just does it right with super flavorful food and the lowest prices I've seen in years. I've heard a lot about this place, so I really wanted to like it but I was disappointed. I got a Carne Asada taco, a chicken taco, & an Al Pastor taco. I wasn't sure which was the chicken or the al Pastor because they both looked the same. One of them had a little tiny kick to it so I think that might've been the al Pastor....I don't know. I didn't know about any sauces or cucumbers or limes, till I read some of the reviews after I ate there. it was taco Tuesday so each taco was $2 as opposed to $2.50. I will say that each one was nice and full of meat. I did like the Coke. It wasn't like the regular Coke bottles in the US. It was really good. I might go back another day to try again. read more

I love that it's always been the same quality. I ordered carne asada tacos which come with onion & cilantro. On the side there's a small bar of salsa (red or green), cucumbers, limes, radishes. The salsa is so spicy, but good. It's not watered down out all & so fresh. The sides are always freshly cut. The carne asada is cut into fine pieces, has excellent marinated flavor, and always fresh. Anytime I'm in the mood for tacos I come here. There's just not place like it. You can sit at one of their tables & enjoy the weather & listen to some music or take it to go. read more

The gentlemen that takes the order repeats the order back and hands the ticket to the cooks right away so they can start on your order while he finishes cashing out. This place is straight as authentic flavors. I have tried all they have and delicious. I am not a fan of the shrimp because it breaded and takes longer when ordered.
