He took us on a private pontoon ride and pointed out all these crazy expensive houses that belong to famous people. He also played some awesome reggae music that fit the vibe so perfectly. An unexpected highlight was the dolphins. YES, DOLPHINS! Like, right next to the pontoon! There was a playful baby dolphin that kept swimming up next to us and blowing water. It was so cool to see an actual, real-life dolphin so close and in the wild! The tour lets you choose between renting a kayak or a paddle board. You don't have to decide until you get there. I chose paddle boarding, which was much easier than I had anticipated. I steered myself into the trees a few times, but I mostly got the hang of it. (; We paddle boarded to a BEAUTIFUL, remote part of the beach. We were barely south of Caladesi island, where the beach was covered in seashells, and there was no one around. It was picturesque -- white sand, clear blue water, waves. And it was a place that we wouldn't have been to on our own. It was breathtakingly beautiful. To top it off, we didn't have to worry about bringing our phones with us to take pictures since Andrew took pictures for us on his phone and shared them with us through text. It totally added to the tranquility and was an above-and-beyond aspect of the tour. When I come back to Clearwater Beach, I am 100% booking a tour with Paddle Out Adventures again!!

It's simple, peaceful, and has that classic Florida waterfront feel that makes you want to slow down and take it all in. Walking out on the pier, you get beautiful views of the water and a nice breeze that makes it perfect any time of day. It's a great place to just relax, look out over the bay, and enjoy the scenery. Everything felt clean and well kept, and it wasn't overly crowded, which made the experience even better. The highlight for us was spotting a stingray swimming right near the pier such a cool and unexpected moment. Watching it glide through the water made the whole visit feel special, especially for my daughter. It's those little surprises that turn a good stop into a great one. We had a lot of fun. Overall, the Safety Harbor Pier is a perfect spot for a peaceful walk, some great views, and even a chance to see some wildlife up close. My friends and I had a great experience with Dunedin Sailing Charters. There were six of us, and we…read morewere celebrating my birthday. Herman was a wonderful captain, and made navigating the water and under the bridges look easy. Herman was the captain and Sandy was helping him. First mate? Idk nautical terms. Sandy moved around the boat to provide us with complimentary refreshments (water and soft drinks) and food that we brought on ourselves. Everything was super easy from booking to meeting at the dock. Herman and Sandy were super chill. My friends and I lived our best lives just chatting and relaxing in the bean bag chairs at the front of the boat. While we were out, we also saw soo many dolphins! And after sunset, we were treated to fireworks in the distance (random luck, not part of the cruise lol). It was amazing. There's also a toilet on board if you need to relieve yourself. Otherwise, I brought a sandwich platter on board, but it was a bit rocky to pass them around to everyone. So next time, I think I'd make boxes of charcuterie to bring on board instead. Or just put sandwiches in bags. We had a great time, and wouldn't hesitate to go again!
