Absolutely excellent and healthy option for food truck. Open an avocado fresh for each order.

We went here between January 27 & February 6/2026. La Potranca has five Florida locations, but this cantina does not feel like a chain. Authentic sabor Mexicano with an excellent friendly staff. Family friendly & handi-able accesible from the parking lot. This location gets full by 7pm but there is extended service & seating in the common covered courtyard. Plenty of parking in this strip mall location. Service is excellent, fast, & great choices of tacos & drinks. You can choose from 14 different meats/cuts for your tacos, including birria & al pastor. Bow to the taco! Also gringas, vampiros, & burritos. They have bowls (they're BIG) & brunch. p.s. try the churros with 3 dipping sauces. Drinks are extra special here. The clamato & beer cocktail is very unique. Served in a Tajin rimmed large mug, with lime & a tamarind wrapped straw. Excellante! Also a variety of margaritas served in whimsical glasses & their three house cervazas (beers) on draft. La Potranca pays homage to iconic singer & actor Vincente Fernandez "King of Ranchera". Check out the interesting connection with the staff or online. The staff here is excellent. Very helpful when navigating the menu. Very friendly. True professionals. Special shout out to Mauricio & Ralphael - you hombres make this place truly special. Mucho Gracias. We give La Potranca our highest recommendation. Closed Mon, Open: Tue, Wed, Thu, & Sun 10am-11pm, Thu & Fri 10am-1am. Nick & Liz, Albany, NY, USA

Super friendly waiters and an amazing kitchen make this restaurant a great experience every time you come here. The menu isn't big but it truly has everyone's favorite dishes. Tacos, sopes, enchiladas, mole and many, many more. The key is everything is made fresh daily. The al pastor tacos, green enchiladas, birria and the mole sauce are all incredibly delicious. Try their micheladas and also the spicy margaritas (both super good). The restaurant ambiance is very cozy and inviting. Its simple but nicely decorated. Give it a try.

We showed up around 3pm on a Sunday and waited about 30 minutes, which felt fair once we realized how small and cozy the place is. Seating is limited, so a bit of patience helps. The food delivered--everything was solid--and the service moved along at a nice pace without feeling rushed. The only real headache? Parking. It's pretty tight and can take some circling to snag a spot. All in, a really enjoyable lunch and definitely worth a return visit... maybe just with a parking strategy next time.

Stop talking about Talkin' Tacos and just go there already!…read more This fast casual spot has a menu that has your staples: tacos, quesadillas, bowls, burritos, salads. Then there's the various proteins (or veggies). Simple enough, until you realize the menu looks so good you want to try everything! The quesabirria is a birria-filled quesadilla, topped with cilantro and onions, with a side of consommé and chips. A huge portion (too much to each at lunchtime, so it'll also be dinner), delicious, flavorful, and tender birria, and just enough salty tortilla chips to break up the richness of the quesadilla. I am used to my consommé being a little bit thicker, but it's still a great accompaniment. It came out quickly, so no long waiting. And the interior is so chic: Gives me "Day of th Dead" vibes with its dim interior lighting with pops of neon colors.

But…read moreever since they opened their first location in Pembroke Pines, the tacos haven't been hitting the same. I was excited when they opened the Doral location since it's much closer to me, and at first their tacos were top notch. My go to orders were always the birria tacos and the shrimp tacos. Unfortunately, recently the quality just hasn't been what it used to be especially considering the prices. I'm not a big fan of the chicken tacos, and the steak tacos are a miss for me as well. The steak doesn't taste like high-quality meat and tends to be dry. I really wish they would improve the quality of their proteins. As for my usual favorites, the last two times I ordered the shrimp tacos, they had a strange flavor and were really soggy, which was disappointing. On top of that, it seems like they may have new employees because service has become noticeably slower. We waited almost an hour for about 50 tacos, which is unusual since they're normally pretty fast. Talkin' Tacos is still one of my favorite spots, and I'm really hoping the quality goes back to what it used to be. If things improve, I would absolutely raise my rating to five stars. But for now, I'm giving it 3 stars due to the inconsistency in food quality and the long wait times.

All in all over priced and bland. Not authentic Mexican food. Won't be returning.

Was the first time for all of us and I really like when everyone at table is experiencing it for the first time together, definitely adds to the overall vibe/occasion. As we were walking up, they had nicely decorated patio tables, which we learned inside is where Happy Hour is available "all-day", which is music to anyone's ears! It was a Monday so there was plenty of room (we had a reservation either way), and noticed right away that the place didn't feel stuffy (high ceilings) and the decor was very nice. I chose a real nice booth to sit in which had me facing the huge blue bar wall. Aesthetically pleasing and didn't look cheap, which is a plus. My sister and I arrived first, so we went ahead with cocktails while we waited for our cousins to park and walk over. My sister went for traditional margarita but made it Mango, and it was great. I ordered the Mezcalita de Naranja and its was the bomb - I had 3. Would absolutely get again. Once the cousins arrived they went for a red sangria which looked dark and not exactly traditional, and another Mezcalita after tasting it. Thumbs up on the drinks, very well made. The food was very well portioned and everything was delicious. Aside from the entrees pictured we also did an order of steak quesadillas, toro taquitos (raw tuna), and some tequeños. Hard to say if one was really the standout but I chose to toro taquitos and the tuna was fresh, wasn't overly spicy and hit nicely with my drink. Quesadillas were dope too, steak was medium-well. My main was the Molcajete and if you go hungry, will definitely hit the spot right. Great service all around, our server Mildanny made several good recommendations for us, including the dessert which was a hit. Cost for 4 people was pretty reasonable and that's that it was pretty much two drinks per person. Will definitely be back to take advantage of HH!

Flavorful, good presentation, and a solid choice if you're just going in the mood for tacos and drinks. Now, I normally don't order steak at places that aren't steakhouses, but the menu got me and I tried the picanha with rice, beans, and fries. The flavor was good, but it didn't have that signature picanha texture. It also wasn't as warm as it should have been, which took away from it a bit. About half of the cut was fat too, which made it feel less balanced. The guacamole needed a little more seasoning. It wasn't bad, just missing that extra punch. Overall, I still enjoyed the experience. I just think this is more of a tacos and cocktails spot than a place to order steak. Now on the upside, it's hands down the best happy hour experience / pricing in the downtown doral area! And the waitress was really helpful and friendly too. I will be back again, for some tacos and cocktails!

I am talking I usually ask for another tortilla because the filling is falling out huge. They also will give extra pineapple with the al pastor if you ask. In the middle of the table are an array of sauces (5 or 6?) to add to tacos. But be wary- some are VERY spicy (and I like spice). Their margaritas are a bit on the sour side for my taste but I love the agua de jamaica. I have to confess that I always intend to try other types of tacos and the other dishes they have to offer but always stray to my tried and true favorite (sorry piggies). It is a cute little space well decorated to give a comfortable ambience. The service is also excellent. I have also ordered these tacos at home through a delivery service and arrive the same in quality. With the exception of Wynwood (because it is Wynwood), there is a free parking lot. Sincerely my go to place for tacos. I also love La Potrcana for tacos, but they are so TINY in comparison. Truly, do yourself a favor and the next taco crave you have, go here!
