So - first things first - the roundabout to get in here requires just a wee bit of concentration. Most people just blaze through it, and if you have to turn to get in to Morrison's, wait for your opportunity. Once you get inside, you'll pass the comparatively cheap gas station, so fill up and avoid higher prices if you're headed back to central London. The interior of the supermarket itself is very clean, and brightly lit. Feeling famished, I walked along the left aisle and came across Libby in the bakery department. It was late enough in the day that she was putting out half-off stickers on the steak, chicken, and sausage pies, which I happily took advantage of. She also took pity on this lost traveler and walked me down to the beverages, helping me get set up for an impromptu dinner while I drove the hour back to Canary Wharf. Super-friendly staff were also found at the self-checkout area, where I wound up sheepishly apologizing to the customer agent overlooking the consoles, as my US-based credit card required a signature even though it had a chip in it. Genuinely nice staff in a well-stocked supermarket, which led to a dinner on the go for me? Much as I'd have preferred a sit-down lunch/dinner, this ended up working quite nicely for me.

Great sale items but especially enjoy the offers they do. Definitely recommend getting a Match and More card if you're a regular with Morrisons, you can get vouchers if you earn enough points and there's even an app for the iPhone to keep track of your progress. They often have special offers (collect stickers and get freebies) and because they're so undersubscribed they sometimes just give things away (we got given twenty stickers- enough to get a free fancy knife) so I recommend getting involved with those.

Tesco® clearly DO NOT need all THAT money OR the peoples' loyal custom, so "they" are helping the OTHER stores in the town by giving away a fair amount of business trading. And a BIG plus; I spent barely a third of what my similar shopping normally costs in Tesco®, so that has instantly CHANGED my shopping habits, with a huge win for my savings. I imagine it has helped ALL the other customers who walked away today, equally shocked and disgusted with their betrayed loyalty to a store that shows CONTEMPT and DISREGARD to the shoppers that helped establish its business.

I had not been in a UK supermarket for 14 years and I have to say they have changed. It reminded me of a french hypermarket, very plain and boring inside with just shelves of food. What happened to the well presented nicely displayed merchandise. I guess times have changed and Tescos is too busy with volume to warrant spending the time on presentation and repair. Cheap goods placed on shelves. Thats what you will find here. Confusing one way car park, and dont forget your pound coins for the trolleys! Still there's always Morrisons!

Ocado is an online supermarket and is probably one of my favourite grocery retailers mainly down to…read morethe customer service and information, as well as the product range. I've tried numerous online delivery services now from Britain's major supermarkets: Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrisons, Asda and Ocado with Ocado being amongst the best and Sainsbury's being amongst the worst, one of my favourite parts of the Ocado service is how they keep the customer informed, you can change your order until hours before delivery and then you can download a receipt and see what items are coming even before your order comes, for example you can see if any substitutions have been made in advance of your delivery. The product range at Ocado is also very good and includes items from brands such as PieMinister, Watmuff and Beckett and Wilkin and Sons, the gluten-free range especially impresses me with multiple products I cannot find elsewhere. Ocado also sell Waitrose own brand products which is pretty cool, including the likes of a cottage pie and stonebaked pizza, which are both gluten-free. Ocado prices are a little high in some areas, mainly on items which I've found hard to source down including the ones mentioned, but the prices remain competitive in terms of the basic essentials, with a standard own-brand 4 pint of milk costing either £1.09 or £1.10 as of July 2018. On past experiences, Ocado deliveries always tend to be either early on time with the drivers polite, they even offer a scheme to return your old bags to get the "bag tax" back, which is 5p per bag in the UK. Ocado also make it easy to apply a refund, which is something I've found hard which other brands such as Sainsbury's, Ocado have an online selection tool where you can ask for a refund on certain items and state why with no need to wait on hold and/or mess about by contacting customer services. Ocado could be improved however, such as by working to keep pricing competitive on some areas where it is a little pricy and by constantly working to make sure all items are stocked, for the last few orders now I've had one or more items being out of stock for my delivery time, one was even out of stock for over a week ahead of when I wanted my delivery which is a shame but the product range, customer service and keeping the customer informed throughout the order process, makes Ocado a brilliant grocery tool to warrant a four-star rating.
