This isn't the most convenient Chinese takeaway for where I live so I had never thought to try it…read moreuntil my daughter asked me to. The menu is amazing. All the usual favourites are there but there is so much more. My particular favourite is the Mongolian Lamb curry but The Royale has also introduced me to frogs legs (something I swore I'd never eat) which were delicious. We now use the Royale when there are a lot of us eating as large orders don't seem to faze them, I normally pick up to save on delivery but there have been occasions when laziness happens and I have found the delivery to be very timely. I have noticed that the restaurant always seems empty (it doesn't help that it's so big) and I am now determined to do my bit to fill it as soon as I can by taking the family or friends (or even random friendly people) there for the all you can eat banquet.

The sauces of the dishes really nice, as often Chinese take out sauces can be too runny or too tick with MSG. The service is always really good, the food always comes promptly, usually after 40 mins. So many take aways now think over an hour is a reasonable amount of time. The delivery price is reasonable and the drivers are always friendly. They give free prawn crackers over for orders over £10. They also always give free fortune cookies and if it's for a few people they give free chopsticks. It's little touches like that, that impress me.

Always lovely and fresh and usually prepared pretty quickly, even though things get very busy during the wend. The Menu is extensive with all of the usual suspects available and some individual specialities. There is a fantastic chilli chicken dish, similar to a stir fry and this is to die for! Everything else is divine too and never too oily like some. Yang's is exceptionally clean and really cares about keeping the Customer happy. It also does deliver, which is great. In my opinion, when you are paying an extra amount for delivery, they really should either refund you the money if it is taking that amount of time or at the very least call you and let you know they're going to be late. I would have understood, it's a busy night, you're running late, even if I am ravenous... Onto the food! Personally, I didn't like the sweet chilli beef as I found it too much for my own personal taste. I have a really sensitive palate, though, and a couple of my companions really did like it, so it really was a matter of personal taste. I found the onions to be too much, as well as the sweetness and richness of the sauce. I couldn't get through it. The barbecue on the ribs is not the barbecue most of us all know and love, it is a Chinese variety and was a bit strange to my palate. Who knows, you may love it. Chips were good, prices were reasonable. Don't hate me, but I don't know what they exactly were. They can't do anything right here, there's no authenticity and they clearly cut every corner they can when it comes to their ingredients. Just avoid it, there are plenty of cheap Chinese places around here that do much better food; this place is the worst. UPDATE: Morley Chinese Takeaway was recently rewarded with a 1 star hygiene rating. Frankly, I think that's generous.
