I've converted quite a few people into fans. I tend to use this place as a takeaway more than an eat in place as its not too far to go and it's cheaper to take it home and eat it. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the food is a very good standard, far better than most chinese takeaways I've been to but I think that's due to it being a restaurant too which pushes the standard higher. This is a popular place on a weekend so if you're eating in it's probably a good idea to book a table, if you can't get booked in then just order a takeaway. The only downside is they don't do delivery as they are very busy so you have to get it yourself.

Contrary to the reviews by others...I had great service, prompt and courtesy acknowledged. My food was perfect...hot, tasty...very enjoyable. And the cost...quite acceptable. It should be noted that this business was established in 1965...this is a local family operation, not a commercial corporation from London...these are your friends and neighbors, show your support, they deserve your business.
