My Havanese has tough to manage hair, and Wags n Whiskers always helps me out with him when I need it. They understand my desired cut, and do their best to achieve that every time. He always come out happy and healthy. I've never had an issue with them nicking his skin. They keep great notes on your account, so you don't have to remind them every time of your dogs needs. I definitely recommend Wags n Whiskers to anyone looking for a good groom on their dog. They have some fun add-ons to try, like the blueberry facial. Great experience for me and the dog. The dog is first! He loves this place. We started with nail trims and worked up to the full-service spa treatment for my Havanese Ohno 8 yr old. He is eager to see the staff, and we enjoy the results and the reasonable costs. Took us 3 years to find this place (after moving from Tacoma) but we did and will remain customers for the future. I haven't owned a Pomeranian for very long, but I quickly learned 2 things. 1. You will have many, many people approaching you and telling you they (or their wife or sister or cousin) are dog groomers (at least once a month so far) and 2. A groomer you can trust is INVALUABLE. And I guess here is a bonus: a groomer you DOGS trust is paramount. I love our groomer here, she is always willing to answer questions about at home care and give product recommendations. She has taught me a lot about taking care of my dogs in between grooming and makes suggestions about frequency and routine that have helped so much. We also have a fearful chihuahua mix who trusts her to trim his nails and even file them so he has a perfect little pedicure every time. A walk in nail trim is only $8 and SO worth it. The amount of time and stress the nail trim saves both my dog and me is beyond worth it. Also, I YouTubed it and I'm not expressing these guys' anal glands. I'm not. I will pay. They do a great job that makes my dogs comfortable and clean and healthy. I highly recommend. read more

Brought my cat and dog it was great! Environment super girly and pink. They were very understanding and gave me comfort to leave my fuzzy kids at their care. They did a great job with my cat cutting his fur and nats. Our doggie feels very clean and I'm very satisfied with the results. Definitely will be a continued customer. They have puppy package that is wonderful. Every two weeks I take my puppy in to get his used to being groomed. They give him report cards letting me know how he is doing as well. I am so glad I found out about their grooming offer, since I have a Pomeranian pup and he needs the extra time with his fur. read more

So disappointed by this place! I had taken my dog to this grooming place twice now and loved it. I recommended this place to anyone who asked! And now that won't be happening. I went to take my dog in for her appointment and arrived at 2:15. They refused to take her because the lady said it was after 2:15 and that's there cut off. I totally get policy but the rude eye roll and scoff I got from this groomer was very disrespectful and just pissed me off more. I tried calling them twice on my way over to let them know I was running late and to make sure this wouldn't happen. No one answered or even listened to my voicemail. I understand it was my mistake coming late but I also was not informed about this policy until it was too late. The main thing I'm pissed about is the way they handled the situation with a rude attitude and didnt even give me any options besides rescheduling. I would have been more than happy to skip some of the services my dog was going to get just so she can get groomed because of how hot she is. But that wasn't even an option. I will now be unfortunately on the hunt for a different groomer): read more

I'm new to Battle Ground and used to paying $55 plus tip for a lion trim on my Maine Coon cat. I nearly choked when I was charged $100 at Wags N Whiskers! Then when I got home and released my cat from his carrier I was pissed! There are tufts of fur sticking out all over him...he's never had such a sloppy and amateurish groom ever! They came highly recommended but sure let me down...I'll not be back! read more

We brought our 50 pound neurotic mix of a dog in for a bath & nails clipping. She hated the experience, but that's because the room echoes from the open space of this business. An obnoxious dog was barking & it was really loud. This triggered our dog's anxiety. Unfortunately for her, we'll be taking her back because she has never been so clean in her life! Her nails were perfectly trimmed & her fur was so incredibly soft. We felt the $35 cost was a great deal. I wish our dog wasn't so miserable while she's there, but we will be back. read more

Customer service is horrible. We went three times and each time the customer service got worse. They shaved my Dogs body because they said he was matted but left his head uncut. He looks ridiculous. Every time you discuss the issue they make excuses. We will be finding somewhere else to go. read more

The only bad thing I would say is the fact that I found this place the week before I moved. Not only do my dogs look amazing but also; the prices were reasonable, my dog didn't seem scared when I picked them up which was surprising, the staff was not only super friendly but they helped me get my dogs out to the car because I had two dogs and a baby with me. I really hope to find a place as good as this one where I'm going but I would recommend this one to any dog owners in the area read more

I am SO disappointed by this little place. I had been taking my dogs there for years but had a couple year gap after loosing my precious furry friends. Just tried to reconnect there but they don't ever answer their phone, I have NEVER gotten a return call and they give a long list of restrictions on their messages. Such an incredibly unwelcoming business! Guess once you're rated highly in Clark county you stop trying. I found myself a new groomer. So very disappointed. read more

We had our Akita, Zeus groomed here and they were amazing! They clipped his nails and brushed his teeth. He was shedding so badly and they fixed that problem, plus he looked beautiful! They were so sweet and loving to him we highly recommend having your pet groomed here. read more

I went here to get my rather difficult Chi Buggy groomed! I dropped her off with a warning, telling them she's never bitten anyone but is a definite risk for fear biting. They were unfazed, took her from my hands and loved her right up. They took down my info, and politely told me that she would be needing a flea treatment so the charge would go up $5.00. The staff were polite and friendly! When it came time to pick her up, Bug was wagging her tail faster than a speeding torpedo. They told me she had been rather pleasant to work with and quickly got her back to me with a little star spangled bandana. Thank you to Wags N whiskers staff! I was definitely be a regular from now on! read more

Dudley is a sweet dog, but he is a farm dog, and his coat and habits are those of a healthy and normal farm dog. We called ahead and spoke with her on the phone to ask if we could just come in for a quick nail trim for our puppy (today is Thursday, February 19th) and she said she could trim our puppy's nails if we came in before noon today and we were so beyond relieved she was able to (our puppy was originally a stray and has major anxiety to the point where our vet wasn't even able to trim her nails). We will definitely be back because she did such an amazing job trimming and even grinding her nails. Thank you!

I used to live in the FM area but now drive to town to have my 10 year old Newfoundland groomed here. They always make sure she is totally clean and, most importantly, totally dry. (Other places have left her coat damp and this causes skin problems.) They know she's older and needs breaks, so they schedule her so that there is plenty of time to bathe her without rushing. She always comes out looking clean and beautiful, and she loves the people there. I can't recommend them enough. read more

My pup is seven, so we've had plenty of grooming experience. He'a nervous and squirmy, and they had no problem with him at all. They were quick (within two hours for a full trim and bath) and kind. he came out happy and looking good! There's nothing more I would look for in a groomer. He's going back to Wags next time for sure. read more

Took my dog there for the first time. It was a very good experience from start to finish. Receptionist was really nice. Groomer was really good my dog looks fantastic. I'm in town visiting but will definitely go to wags and whiskers again if I'm back in town. read more
