So why do I consider myself lucky? So glad you asked! Because I am one very satisfied customer. I had the opportunity to use their services again and I am still very satisfied. It is a bit daunting to have strangers come into your home when you are feeling a bit vulnerable anyway. On both occasions, all the health care providers were friendly, competent and completely professional. I really liked that the same person comes each time and they really take the time to talk and listen and work with their clients. They all treated me like an intelligent, competent adult. Both PT's pushed me to challenge myself to increase my mobility and independence, while honoring my wussyness. Both Nurses provided me with the information I needed to make informed decisions about my health and guided me in what I needed to do help with my healing. The first time I had some questions about the billing I had received from them. The people in the business office answered all my questions completely and helped make clear what was co-pay and what was part of my deductible. I really like that the company has a 24 hour help line if I have any questions or concerns between visits. This was extended to me both times after I had been discharged from direct services. So, while I hope I never have need of their services, if I do, and if I have a choice, I would most definitely use them again.

That was after they sent a round of JUST WILL NOT DO caregivers, We have a simple but detailed guide for them to follow. SOOOO simple...but you have to be able to read English to follow it. Yes, they sent someone who pretended to be able to read. When I complained about it, they thought it was funny. They call almost every week to tell me they have a schedule change. Someone else will be here or it will not be at the time set up. If you complain and are upset, it seems to negate their responsibility and they take an defensive position. I am the one who is to be understanding, these things cant be helped, well maybe we are not a good fit for each other. There are the responses I get. If you really need someone to relieve you, give you the help you need on a regular basis, then I would look elsewhere folks. Kait set up an appointment with Bob, the owner, to meet with us to discuss our needs and concerns and let us know he would get back to us after working with the scheduler, Heather, to let us know if they could staff the hours that we needed. Bob also reviewed the costs and the company's expectations of us as clients. I have read some of the complaints and feel they are unfounded. Businesses can't survive if they don't protect themselves. Comfort Keepers works very hard to assign and schedule caregivers that can meet the needs of each patient and they deserve respect if and when service needs to be cancelled. I personally worked with each caregiver to make sure they were comfortable with my mother-in-law and that my mother-in-law accepted them in her home. Each and every one of the care givers were well trained, kind, and respectful. The situation was challenging, and they were all wonderful! I have nothing but respect for this company and the people they hire. The care givers told me that they truly love working for Comfort Keepers because they offer excellent training, and they are treated well. Our family has since contracted with Comfort Keepers for another family member.

Senior Helpers sent someone at 8pm that same Tuesday evening to stay until 8am the next morning. They then scheduled all 24 hour shifts with a variety of excellent caregivers who were there until she took her last breath. The communication was stellar, the on site log they kept clear and concise, everyone I met was helpful, kind, caring and thoughtful. The fact that Senior Helpers could create a schedule that worked so well with almost no notice is impressive. I would use this service again and highly recommend the business and their staff to anyone needing kindness and assistance. The owners Jocelyn Ipsen MSN, RN and Kiefer Ipsen have obviously increased customer care and service since procuring Senior Helpers in 2023.

Saint Mary's Home Health Services staff have been wonderful. I have weekly visits from LP nurses and a physical therapist. I had an evaluation from an occupational therapist. They each explained what they were doing and WHY. I have never had an outpatient PT explain reasons in such a clear way. They are prompt and professional while being friendly. I am very thankful for their service.
