I met Alisa at a career fair hosted at UNR and then proceeded to work with her for a year. Everything was great, I had no complaints! I helped out 4 different clients in that time, and each one of them were different and had their own needs, so nothing was too overwhelming or repetitive. One client I was just to keep an eye on, another we would go to lunch and the movies, and another just wanted to play board games and go to church. If I had to make meals, they were simple like scrambled eggs, oatmeal, or a sandwich and chips. I know the list of duties can feel overwhelming at first, but you're usually only doing a couple of them depending on the client needs!
Alisa and crew are very welcoming and easy to work with, and this job worked perfectly with my college schedule as I was essentially able to choose my work schedule around my classes. I only left this job because I moved out town, and I miss it and still think about my clients sometimes! I was a business major in college with no want to get into Healthcare, and this job was still fun for me, but I know a majority of the workers there find this job benefits them in the Healthcare industry. I cannot speak enough about how much I enjoyed this job, and how incredibly kind both Alisa and the clients were in my time there! read more
