Want you to do exercise that you couldn't even do before the need for PT came up in the first place. Not so, my therapist, Laura, said "if it hurts, stop, don't do it." We will find a way to build up your muscles so you can eventual do them. She was patient and cared about "me." She was anxious to make sure I left better than when I came in. She gave me exercises to do at home... and yes, I did do them, that helped me move better. Alas, my issue needs more than just therapy... headed for an MRI on my left knee. All the therapy and even a cortisone shot did not totally alleviate my knee pain. If Orthopedic doc recommends continue PT, I will definitely come back here to Laura. Perhaps if Medicare allowed me to go directly to an Orthopedic doc instead of trying primary care first, I'd have a accurate diagnosis and closer to total "mend."

Despite providing them with extensive resources on how to care for a child with hearing loss, they refused to implement any of the suggestions or accommodations. This has only made my son feel like an outsider and a target, which is heartbreaking as a parent. The daycare's lack of empathy and understanding for children with disabilities is clear. My son was penalized for age-appropriate behavior like hitting and kicking, which he doesn't exhibit at home or with friends, and certainly not at Sunday school. This behavior, typical for his age just recently started within the last month. This behavior is age appropriate and was certainly not a continued issue. When asked about how it was happening they could only provide excuses about the teachers, other students and never answered my questions. The communication between teachers is abysmal, and the high turnover rate among staff only exacerbates the issue. There seems to be a lack of commitment to consistent care, and the owner, Joanne, seems to view children as dollar signs rather than individuals in need of genuine care and attention. Teachers are trained, but it doesn't seem to make any difference--there's little to no real progress in creating a nurturing environment. The classroom is chaotic, with 16 toddlers crammed into a small space, leaving no room for meaningful interaction or learning. It feels more like a fishbowl than a place for children to grow, and it is impossible for a child to thrive in this kind of environment. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for your child's care. There are plenty of other daycare facilities that are equipped to handle children with special needs or any kind of disability. (A handful of reviews have stated this regarding children with disabilities, learning delays or special needs) This place is just not the right fit and has made what should be a positive experience a stressful and disheartening one for both my child and myself.

Do NOT send your family here. If I could give negative stars, I would. They neglect their patients…read more They do not ask who you are when visiting. They just want a room number and they'll let you in. They had ONE nurse assigned to an entire area. She went on lunch when my grandma nearly choked to death and the other staff simply said "I'm not qualified to help with that". She was bed ridden and could not move at all. They refused to clean her when she went to the bathroom and ignored her when she wrote help on paper over and over again. She was old but mentally clear and they constantly assumed she was senile, talking down to her like a child. Another patient down the hall was crying and screaming for help and no one came for almost 30 mins, even after we tried to chase down the nurse. The staff is rude and claims that they can't help with things even though it's literally their job. We ended up having to call an ambulance to take her to the hospital just to get her out of this place. Hospital found out that she got pneumonia from their neglect. She passed away a few days later. I regret sending her here.
