RATING: 0/5 STARS:
Dangerous installation design flaws, unauthorized credit card charges, and total radio silence from management. Avoid this company at all costs. I paid thousands ($15.1k) of dollars for a new HVAC installation, and they have left my home with severe, system-damaging design flaws. The company installed a massive 4-ton system but hooked it up to a single, tiny 10x24 return duct/grille. Simple HVAC engineering dictates a 4-ton system requires roughly 1,600 CFM of airflow to operate safely. A 10x24 return safely handles less than half of that. They are completely choking my brand-new system. When I called them out because my daughter's bedroom was getting zero airflow, the technician explicitly admitted in writing on Invoice #378471264 that the "static pressure was very high on my return as well as supply." Instead of fixing their structural oversight, the technician Andres applied a dangerous band-aid: he increased the fan speeds to force air through the bottleneck. This does not fix a design flaw--it violently increases static pressure, spikes my utility bills, and will prematurely burn out a very expensive blower motor. The invoice even notes the company "does not touch ductwork," which is a reckless omission of responsibility when installing high-tonnage equipment on existing, undersized infrastructure. To make matters worse, they charged my credit card an unauthorized $95.79 service call fee for this visit. To bypass me, they had my tenant/renter illegally sign the contract acknowledgment on the invoice. A tenant has zero legal authority or power of attorney to sign away my installation warranties or authorize financial charges on my account.I have been waiting for weeks for a phone call back from the installation manager to resolve these issues. I am completely ignored. If management does not immediately reverse this unauthorized $95.79 charge and send a supervisor to structurally fix this choked airflow design flaw to meet manufacturer specifications, my next step is filing a formal complaint with the state licensing board (CID) and taking this itemized invoice directly to small claims court.
