He looks like he was rolling in a field all day. Not soft and fluffy. Wish I could post pics. And I had to cut his bangs which were choppy and crooked. His groom always took a minimum of two hours but she was done in one hour and his ears were wet when I picked him up. we left in -20 c temp. so upset. I had a terrible experience with this business and the owner is incredibly unprofessional…read more I originally contacted Aaron for dog training. Through email he said he offers two sessions for $180 and in no way indicated that this was a promotion or a deal (he has no pricing structure on his website). We schedule a time for him to come over and he does not show up. He provides no warning before or notification after; he simply doesn't come. I contact him to reschedule, and once he does come I pay up front for both sessions. If it was hard to get him to show up for his job before he had my money, it was impossible to do so after. On July 13, 2017, I email to set up a second session. I did not get a response for almost two weeks. On July 25 I try to schedule the session for the 28th. I get no response until the 30th. On July 31 I try to schedule a session for August 4 and get no response for over a month. On Sept 11 I contact him again to try to schedule a session which I have already paid for and we decide on the date Sept 17. Again, he does not show up for his scheduled appointment with no contact letting me know beforehand or trying to reschedule afterwards. It's now been over two months and it is clear this person is not at all reliable, so I ask for a refund, which he agrees to. He makes and breaks commitments to refund me Sept 21, Oct 16, Oct 30, and Nov 23. Finally today, 5 months since I tried to schedule the session and 3 months since he agreed to a refund, he refunds me not the full $180 I paid, not even $90 since he did almost fulfil half of his agreement, but $55 because he claims that his sessions are usually $125 instead of $90. Hard to say since he doesn't list his prices anywhere. Overall I could not in good conscience give anything but 1 star and I hope to save someone from the headache I have dealt with for the last half a year.

The first time I met J&M, they came by to get to know my pets and collect the key. They took a lot of time saying hi to each cat and learning about her personality. I immediately felt safe leaving my animals in their hands, and from that point I used their services many more times, including over the Christmas holidays. I was always so impressed with their care. They would call if they had any questions, clean up very thoroughly, and write a very cute report of who did what and how much everyone ate. They would also play with my pets and keep a close eye on how everyone was doing, which was impressive because I have two anti-social (ex-feral) cats. I loved coming home and reading about what my pets are up to! I don't have J&M come visit anymore because I moved away from Waterloo, and I deeply miss having such a great resource nearby. I highly recommend Janice and Murray and WPS. They have fair prices and they care very deeply.

Keep your guard up because under the guise of caring about your cat or dog they gossip and look fir ways to abuse and betray. I was actually using this "service" respectfully and they went behind my back to contact a vet I had to lie and give a false complaint each to this Vet. I have a black & white copy of their lies and false complaints against me re my pets from the Vet in one of my pet's health record. This review is factual and I have proof of what Denise & Serrena UNPROFESSIONALLY did in betraying a then paying client in early August 2022. My experience should cause you to find another company because this "company" is NOT professional, is unethical, intrusive, and cannot be trusted. I used their dog walking and Pet Taxi services and while I was (until I fired them) a good and trusting customer they were lying - BETRAYING me behind my back to an unprofessional Vet. They had no right or even logical reason to lodge any FALSE complaints against me and the excellent loving care I take of my pets. Denise and Serrena in my experience are incredibly controlling, unscrupulou, untrustworthy and emotionally immature to unstable. If you hire them you too could be abused in the ways I was. They each told their own lies to have tge unprofessional vet call Animal Welfare FALSELY on me in what was established as an UNFOUNDED complaint - both complaints were deemed UNFOUNDED - patently FALSE. Beware if this sad excuse of a "company" that for no logical reason whatsoever lied about me while I was paying them for services - trusting them - THEY ARE UNTRUSTWORTH.

I'd been abused, and later, after finally finding a safe home, someone broke in... and I was beaten again. I don't trust easily. I bark when I feel unsafe. I protect my space fiercely. I need distance from other dogs--not because I don't care, but because I care too deeply and don't know how to show it safely. But my human understood. They walk me on a 6' lead, often shortened to 2'. They sit on the ground beside me when I'm overwhelmed. They give me time, space, and safety to choose connection. That's how I learned how to say: "If I turn sideways and offer my shoulders or my butt... you can touch me." It's not much, but it's my way of saying "I trust you." And Justine listened. On October 4, 2023, Justine became my personal walker once a week. My human told her the truth--every challenge, every warning. She had every reason to walk away. But she didn't. She stayed. She followed my signals. She gave me 15 minutes. Now we do 30-minute walks once a week. She must really love me. Then, on January 2, 2024, I met Laura--and fate stepped in again. I didn't know she worked with Justine. Now I have two amazing humans who take me out twice a week. They get me. They give me time. And I give them my trust. To the anxious pups, the misunderstood cats, the shy reptiles, the quiet rodents hiding under blankets: You are NOT broken You are NOT too much You just need the right people who will wait for you to feel safe I'm Yogi. I'm a 150-pound Protection Fluff with a gentle heart and a rough past. I don't take love lightly--but once I give it, it's forever. Sloppy kisses and steady eyes, --Yogi From Yogi's Human: Yogi came into my life with scars--some I could see, many I couldn't. And while I helped him find safety... he helped me survive too. Watching him grow from panic to patience, from tension to trust, has been the most powerful journey of my life. We have good days, tough ones, and breakthroughs. But we keep going. To Justine and Laura--thank you for stepping into our lives. You didn't just help my dog. You made it possible for me to breathe a little easier too.
