There is a standard drop off time, between 8-9 AM, which is pretty standard for things like this. I didn't mind the wait - they called at 2pm to say Panda was finished. I'd rather they take the time to do it well! And well they did. I've had a poor experience with the unpersonalized experience of big box grooming businesses, and my dog reacted poorly. When I came in, I was immediately greeted warmly! Panda was too, and they didn't crowd or rush at her in the lobby, so my shy girl was able to feel a bit better about being whisked away. When we picked her up, the owners husband and I chatted a bit, and he told me about her experience! I was so glad that she was well taken care of, and she's adorable as heck! I'm glad I gave her a shot, and my shy nervous dog got a great hair cut. They even (tried) to file her nails down, rather than leaving them sharp (But of course my dog wouldn't cooperate with that particular thing, but I appreciate their efforts!) They're always so positive when you walk in and being able to see other animals getting their hair cut right there in the front makes me feel confident in seeing their passion for grooming and their safety procedures! They have several groomers with their site fully updated sharing profiles on each and easy to use/schedule! Karen has done Zoe's hair both times and has done a fabulous job keeping her clean and short! They've been more than willing to use her medicated shampoo as well due to her skin allergies. Zoe has gotten sent home with the cutest seasonal bow collars too! Pictured in today's is a snow man! The last cut she got in October was a fun fall colored one! They're conveniently located off Holden & Spring Garden and have their own parking so easy to get in and out! And their pricing is comparable to past groomers I've used but again their level of care and accommodation is top notch! definitely recommend checking them out!

Based on these communications, I was thoroughly equipped and prepared for dropping the dogs off, and I already had a very positive attitude about Country Kennel and its staff. Arriving for drop-off, my notice was that the kennel and grounds were very clean and in good repair. Caroline, at the front desk, greeted me politely and enthusiastically. My dogs were welcomed warmly and taken out of my hands quickly, allowing me to take care of food transfer and other last-minute business. During my dogs' stay, I received a short message regarding a minor health issue with one dog....I was kept informed. At pickup, my dogs were ready to go, and, most importantly, CLEAN and ready for the trip home. All in all, my evaluation of the total experience can be characterized as "Exceeds All Expectations." Misinformation. Unreliable vets who do not follow up or follow through. Should have changed locations a year ago. My dog has a history of UTIs and been treated at this office for 3 years now since moving to Whitsett. Brough her in about 3 weeks ago for treatment and was diagnosed with UTI and prescribed antibiotics. About two weeks post treatment she now has blood in urine and in pain. Called at 7:30am on 8/5 and earliest they could see my dog was 2PM on 8/6. Received call at 10:45AM day of that they had two vets and an office manager call out sick and could not see my dog. Offered for me to bring in urine sample. In the past I was told that was not possible for my convenience (because they want the office visit fee/revenue) and would have to come in person. Today they are willing to bend rules to meet their needs. Received another call they would not be able to prescribe meds even if I bring in sample because they diagnosed my dog with bladder cancer summer of 2025, and my dog needs to be under treatment of a cancer specialist. MISINFORMATION!!!!!! My dog has since seen an internal specialist in Winston Salem multiple times in addition to Stony Creek who has since dispensed medicine for my dog. Placed on hold and the return response was then "well, the attending vet has no doctor relationship with your dog and cannot prescribe meds and we will not make accommodations to see her today." Once again, this place is understaffed and unable to manage their patient volume as has been the case for a long time. I have spent incredible amounts of money for both my animals at this vet and opt in to every diagnostic tool and treatment they have suggested in the past sparing no expense. Would appreciate loyalty and somewhat adequate care in return. DO BETTER STONEY CREEK VETERINARY HOSPITAL!!!!!
