They are located somewhat on a restaurant row that runs right next to the mall. This location seems very busy. I went with another person around 3 pm during the week and we had to wait a little bit for a table. Once we're seated though everything went smooth. I've heard quite a lot about this restaurant but never dined here myself. I'm in London for a work trip and this was recommended to me by my hotel so I thought I'd check it out. It's right by the mall and close to my hotel. The food was really good and quite flavorful. The waitstaff was really helpful in suggesting pens for me to try. As I'm on my own I'm always looking for spots that feel great to dine in some and this was one of them. The seating is on really long tables and benches which give a family style type of atmosphere. I loved this place as they have the most popular Asian dishes in one place. We had the Japanese ramen and pad thai. Both were super delicious. The mixed drinks were mouth watering and aesthetically pleasing. Cafeteria like style of seating made it very communal and relaxed. Service was nice and friendly. read more

So coming from the states, I'd never heard of this chain, but apparently very popular here! Tried it at lunch. Standard Asian fare, nothing spectacular, but not horrible either. It's a chain. Service kinda slow, had to go get our own drinks as they sat on the bar and we were dying of thirst! Menu was huge, lots of choices, our server had a list of things they were out of...good to know! When she finally came back to take our order, she apologized for us having to get our own drinks. I had the Shu's shiok chicken, in a bowl, ginger marinated chicken, with garlic , served in lemongrass and coconut rice, with pickled slaw, radish and chili. Tasty, the lemongrass was nice, and it was a nice combo of flavors. Also has the Goyza's as an appetizer, they were nice, fried with chicken, good decent flavor. Also on the table we ordered the pad Thai, and Yaki Soba, we asked for shrimp in the yaki soba, but couldn't find any in it! Off the kids menu, rice, sweet corn, and chicken for the little one, she loved her food groups! Everything was fine and tasted ok, like I said nothing out of the ordinary. Was told the power was low in the kitchen. But the place is packed, the kitchen was hopping. Apparently it was something about me.

Glad this place was recommended by a coworker who frequently visits. I had their ramen which had a good amount of spice and great flavor. Portion size is large it's definitely shareable of you want to try other good food items of theirs. Their fried chicken was good with a flavorful dipping sauce. Great, quick service. Um, what on earth? After all I've heard about it, I hate to break it to you, but Wagamama is not even remotely good. I had the Wagamama ramen. The noodles were downright mushy. The toppings were dry and unflavorful. The broth was incredibly bland (and trust me, I'm usually the one that appreciates the subtleties of seemingly blander foods). The only good thing was the peach iced tea, but it was nothing terribly special. Peach Snapple will do just fine. read more

I love Wagamama, I love Japanese food, I love chicken katsu curry, yaki udon, negima yakitori. The staff is very quick and friendly. I have nothing to complain about. Came here after some shopping. I had the Japanese steamed pork bun and the wagamama special ramen. Japanese steamed pork bun was delicious. Nice crackling and siracha apple sauce in a fluffy steamed bun. Just too small. Main ramen dish was very bland and tasteless. The broth was like a weak miso and the ramen was overcooked/soggy. The toppings and variety are decent, but also didn't stand out flavour wise. If not for the pork bun, this would have been given 2 stars. read more

Fast service, friendly staff, nice food. Absolutely love this place. The menu is pretty standard just like the other Wagamama. Being in the new Westfield shopping centre means that you can enjoy a nice healthy meal between shops. I'd recommend their Chilli Beef Ramen and Raw Juice. Note: They do have the most awkwardly located toilets it's about 3 flights of stairs above the restaurants (I guess it's a good way to work off that duck dumplings starters). read more

Good - except for the 'base' Ramen broth The Wagamama here in Westfield is welcoming with semi-outdoor seating and the service was excellent. The Surendra's curry (veg) was delicious and the shirodashi ramen wasn't bad. But the 'base' broth - present in both our grilled duck ramen and chilli steak ramen - is very bland and has none of the depth of flavor and umami you expect from ramen. In short, if you find yourself at Westfield (or Shepherd's Bush in general) Wagamama is worth a visit. Just don't order the ramen. read more

Chain Japanese restaurant that is pretty consistent from location to location. The food doesn't taste super authentic but for some quick food and friendly service it's not bad. They place your order on their electronic system and can tell you in advance if they are out of the selected item. This is always nice as I hate when you go to a restaurant and place your order and 20 minutes later they tell you oh..sorry we are out. The kids meal... might daughter liked it quite a bit. she might have been really hungry.. but still. The cute little chopsticks were cool too. my wife went for the blended apple/lemon juice thing that was quite interesting... probably a little too much apple for my taste, but whatever.... I can see why people might like it. I came to Wagamama as a group of 6 on a Sunday evening (about 8PM). This location is quite spacious, so there was ample room and we were seated quickly. On the whole, I had an okay experience. The waitress took a long time in getting our orders (free green tea recommended), and pushed us to order an appetizer, but the food came out soon thereafter. The starter was 6 pounds for 5 measly dumplings -- in general, I wouldn't order any of the starters here at Wagamama. I ordered the Cha Han Donburi, which was served in a large bowl (generous portion) with sauteed green beans, egg, chicken, mushroom and various other ingredients. Everyone else seemed pretty content with their entrees as well (yakisoba noodles, a katsu dish, etc.). Our waitress immediately handed us dessert menus after we finished eating, which, once again was kind of unexpected. We ended up not ordering dessert and flagged down a different waitress to get our check since our server seemed overharried with the other customers. Super friendly service, great pricing. We were hoping for more flavoursome dishes, to be honest. Korean ribs were not so great. Pad Thai was delicious. A little more punch in spice would be nice. We will go again and ask them to spice it up or perhaps find out what their best dish is. read more

As an American, it was a bit odd to eat in suuch a relaxed setting (long tables rather than small individual tops), but the waitstaff was nice if rushed (we came during a busy lunch), and the food was warm and filling. I have been to this Wagamama many times and I have never been disappointed. Maybe its because i get the same dish, the Yoki Soba. I like to eat alot so i normally add a kids Katsu Curry (which is cheaper and better than the starters) and haven't had any real problems. Staff were very rude, a huge delay getting my food if i have ever eaten in a restaurant that was part of a big chain i would think it would not be this bad. Went here for the first time over a month ago with a friend. I love the fusion concept. The waiter/server was very good at explaining the concept to me. I ordered the chili/garlic edamame and a vegetarian dish that had sweet potato, eggplant in a sauce over rice (sorry can't remember the name of the dish). I loved the different place mats they had with different art work and facts on them, very unique decoration and their bench style seating. The price was reasonable and the atmosphere is very casual... But good for a first date. Only problem was climbing four flights of stairs to use the restroom, especially when you are desperate to go!!!!! Really want to go back to this place when I go back to London. read more

I've had the cookbook for years now so was excited to eat here? Maybe it was an off day but the broth or Dashi was almost tasteless and lacked depth and character. The noodles were mushy and not elastic like usual ramen noodles. My wife had the Pad Thai which she said lacked flavor and was bland. She never adds things to her food but she ended up pouring the gyoza sauce over her noodles to add more flavor. The vegetable gyoza was mushy and not even crisp on the bottom and two of the pieces were served broken. The chicken karaage was pretty good with a different take on this traditional Japanese fried chicken with various spices in the breading. We try to use less salt in our foods but wow this meal was almost bland. The only thing that had descent flavor was the karaage. Really wanted to love Wagamama but walked away disappointed. I'm surprised to see that it is pretty crowded in the evenings so maybe it's my Hawaii taste buds?!? read more
