Delicious food! Came in and ordered the chicken ramen, but the waiter was kind enough to tell me to try to order something else. I ended up getting the katsu curry, it was amazing!

We have ALWAYS loved Wagamama since 1996! So we look for them when we can't find Asian food as we know this will be solid fare! At this locations which abuts the Tivoli garden & amusement park (bonus discovery!) we came by Taxi and there really was no one to greet us for some time. Which felt awkward but I think the lack of employees perhaps is real in Europe as well in the US. We finally got a table, I was amazed to see the menu so transformed into items I always wish they had. There were noodle and rice bowls that sounded amazing. My daughter got a Ramen that seemed classic but she was bummed as they used rice noodle like for pad thai? I got my usual Veg. Katsu Curry~most veggies but esp one was SO over fried I could not bite through or identify~but the Wait person did me a solid and tried to have that one over done aubergine re made for me (+). My other child and husband ordered NEWER items (teriyaki Chicken bowl and a Beef Donburi bowl) and fared super happy so, my 2 cents it to order the newer stuff and maybe avoid Ramen as they are not using Ramen Noodles~which Ramen is really a noodle. Go figure. They totally got food to us in a weird backward order as well~ main, sides, then the drinks, but we had to push for them!~was nearly too full for drinks (Smoothie juices there are always SO good, esp while travelng). Could have been just our waitress? as everyone else around us seemed to get their items in a normal order and way ahead of us! So my score is a 2 and 5 combined with the appreciation that a Wagamama was here & half our family was happy. Hopefully, much better experiences for other people! I would just flag the drinks asap~but we really could never find our person.

We're big fans of the Wagamama chain and were excited to visit the Copenhagen location for the first time. Sadly, the food tasted very pre-made and bland. I got the warm grilled tofu salad like I always do at Wagamamas and it was very disappointing. On a positive note, the location next to Tivoli was excellent and the decor was Asian-chic with great lighting.

I love me some Wagamama! While this location doesn't seem to be quite as good as its UK counterparts, it is still a great place to get your fix if you are craving their food! First of all you have to understand how it works - big menu, you can order by numbers or name and things come out to your big communal table when it's ready - not in any particular order. If any of those things scare you, then you should probably not eat here. Almost everything I've tried has been delicious, I especially love the Katsu chicken curry, but their Goyza and noodles are amazing as well. Tons of fresh juice options along with alcohol and soda. Toilets are downstairs and are busy but fine. This location operates inside and outside of Tivoli Gardens so make sure you get your hand stamped for reentry.

Delicious food, great service, cozy atmosphere, recommend. Considering Danish prices, the check did not shock us and we left super full and satisfied :)

This place was definitely good, but nothing special. It was a cold day in Copenhagen, and we were out in Tivoli gardens, so ramen and Japanese food sounded great! We ordered prawns, edamame, dumplings, and bao buns to starts-- all of which were delicious. The ramen I had was the chicken chili ramen. It was good, but like I mentioned, nothing special. I would say it lacked some flavor and it wasn't as spicy as I had hoped. This is a good place to try and definitely worth trying, but I probably wouldn't choose it again. Still, the experience was good and no complaints.

Yo Wagamama so fat that... oh wait, that's probably the wrong ethnic joke to tell in Copenhagen, isn't it? Besides, fat people don't come to Wagamama, at least not this one in Tivoli Garden. It appears to be mostly skinny hipsters and related urbanites looking to eat some faux-Asian noodles. That's right... they ain't fat, they just faux and not even pho. Wagamama even sounds hipsterish and looks it, too, with its sleek community tables and black-clad waitstaff using their wireless PDAs to transmit the orders to the kitchen. Now I'm so used to eating at places like this in San Francisco that I found the vibe gimmicky and pretentious. Unfortunately the food follows the same pattern. I started with the Tori Kara-age (50 DKK = $8.88), which I was expecting to be lightly crisped fried chicken pieces but turned out to be tough and overcooked with a too-sweet chili soy sauce (see photo). This was followed by the Yasai Yaki Soba (99 DKK = $17.57), which appeared to be a healthier alternative since it's made up of whole wheat noodles. But their teppan-frying technique meant it was slathered in oil and coriander vinegar. Toppings were on the skimpy side - egg, bean sprouts, peppers, onions, garlic, mushrooms and a showy clump of pickled ginger (see photo). Just not that satisfying for the price. Yo Wagamama, what up? FOOD - 2 stars...by-the-numbers noodle house given a glam sheen AMBIANCE - 3 stars...hip, modern, communal...not my favorite adjectives when I'm eating noodles SERVICE - 2 stars...did I mention the attitude?...oh and the American hostess who had no interest in being cordial to this Yankee tourist TOTAL - 2 stars...Yo Wagamama so mean that...

I have been to several Wagamamas before this and I have always had a good experience with both the food and the service. You get what's expected of a chain like this. It's decent food delivered to you pretty fast. This Wagamamas however was a big letdown. Mainly due to the poor service, or lack of any service actually. We waited a long time to get seated, once we did no one took our order until we asked. The food took a long time to arrive and my partner got her food around 10 minutes before I did. Drinks ended up coming after the food and we never got asked if we wanted anything else to drink later on. We also saw other people having the same experiences. The food was decent but I would definitely be a little wary of this Wagamamas in particular, but of course it might just be a big off day for them.

Chilli Raman that's basically a Thai noodle

Quite pricy for pretty average westernised Japanese food. It doesn't taste Jap, at all. The chilli chicken Raman is basically a Thai flavoured noodle dish while the pork Raman just tasted a bit non-Jap/interesting. All in all, at least it's hot noodle in such weather! Oh yeah, it's annoying they even charge you for tap water!?!

I love Asian food, and although Wagamama is a "westernized" version of Asian food, I am still a fan ! The good thing about Wagamama is that its a "fast food" version of Asian food. I dont mean that its junk, but it is really fast service. I have never had to wait more than 10-15minuets for my food. Its a nice place to grab a quick delicious lunch. Good for big and small groups because there are many different dishes to pick from, or just for a nice meal between 2 people. If it was up to me I would go to Wagamama at least once a week, and just order something new of the menu each time. The place: I find that almost all Wagamama's look the same, so the interior here is probably the same as 99% of other Wagamama's. The staff at Wagamama Tivoli mainly only speak English but very friendly. You dont really have private tables at Wagamama unless you are big group, because again its a "Fast food" restaurant

I had been wanting to try Wagamama's for such a long time, as I had heard they had Ramen on their menu. Having lived in California previously I really miss Ramen here in Denmark so I was excited to finally go and try out the place. When my boyfriend and I sat down we were told by the waiter that food wouldn't necessarily come out together, but come out when it was done, which I didn't think much of at the time. All together we ordered ordered: Apple, mint & lime juice, chicken gyoza, chili beef ramen and wagamama pad-thai with chicken. Lets start with the juice. I actually really liked it. It was very refreshing and really tasty. Perfect balance of mint & lime and I really enjoyed it. The chicken gyoza was pretty good. I don't have much to compare it to as I usually don't order gyoza, but I thought it was a nice starter. Now for the main entrees, we're back to what I said earlier about food not coming out at the same time. My boyfriends pad-thai came out first and my food didn't come out until about 10 minutes after. Maybe that doesn't seem like a long time, but it is when he's staring at his food wanting to be polite and wait for your food to arrive and his food is getting cold. I just find it to be an odd concept that food doesn't arrive at the same time (or close to the same time). He ended up starting his food without me, which of course is no problem but by the time my food arrived he was already quite a ways into his. Would just be nice if people could eat at the same time. But anyway, I had a bite of his pad-thai, and It was pretty good actually. Not the best pad-thai I've ever had but it satisfied my tastebuds. My ramen however, terrible. If you're a ramen lover like me, don't order it. Just don't do it! The broth had barely any flavor, which is a pity as that's what makes up a good ramen. The meat was also just ok for me. Didn't have much flavor, so all together it just didn't do anything for me. I'm giving it 3 stars since their juice, gyoza & pad-thai was pretty good, but the ramen just really killed it.

Just what you'd expect for a theme park eatery. They charge for tap water (about $1USD). This experience was disappointing, as I was excited to see this Wagamama, because the last time I'd been at one was in London. The food was fine, not salty, which I liked. If you're entering from Tivoli, you need to wait by the entrance for a hand stamp. The sign is not too obvious, so we walked right past it, trying to get a hostess's attention, and we were admonished for not waiting by the entrance.

We ordered Gochujang rice bowl with Tofu. Terrible food, no taste other than spicy. The service people are friendly. Too sad!

We found the Royal Garden restaurant on our last night in Copenhagen. The family was craving…read morenoodles and soup and this was a perfect place to have dinner. It was a cold and windy Copenhagen day and we needed the comfort food and a warm place to eat dinner after a long day of sightseeing. We ordered the beef with housemade rice noodles, the sizzling chicken with veggies, and the beef fried noodles with veggies, along with the chicken hot and sour soup. EVERYTHING was delicious. The food ingredients were high quality and fresh and every dish was perfectly seasoned (just needed a little salt or soy sauce to taste). Then we shared the fried banana with ice cream for dessert! It was an absolutely wonderful way to end our meal. More great flavors. The waitstaff was kind, welcoming and accommodating. We didn't have reservations, but we were still able to easily get a table on a Sunday night at 7:00. The restaurant was filled with happy diners of couples, friends and families. And it's a very pretty and very comfortable place to relax and have a wonderful meal. We would certainly return and would highly recommend the Royal Garden. AND they have a huge dim sum menu for those looking for dim sum!
