The ramen itself is very good and the spot is great. The service was good and the lady was very pleasant. We both got the pork broth and the Cha-shu was tasty and very tender. The noodles were okay but it would have been better if they were udon style. Unfortunately they were very thin noodles. Still not bad but would have preferred a thicker noodle. That's just me. The broth was very tasty. Not too salty or bland, but flavorful. I could have just had the broth, meat, and egg and would have been happy. The presentation of the soup was lovely! The only reason I gave it fewer stars was price point. Copenhagen is an expensive city, but $20 for a bowl of ramen is a bit steep. We literally had two ramen bowls, one very small pot of tea, and a soda. It came to $53. So, for me it loses a couple of points for that alone.

Mmm so glad I didn't go to waga mama but opted on a local place I'd never been... and yes their egg may indeed be better than mine ...

Great environment! Eating outside on a windy warm evening was great. Tonkatsu ramen was good!! The tonkatsu with extra noodle decently filled up 2 people. The Bao reminded me of Chairman Bao back in SF. This Bao was pretty good, although not as good as the ones from Chairman Bao, the pork was very tender.

Mo' ramen, mo' problems. Like your waistband expanding. I got to try this new ramen restaurant with Eva K. and Anders A. for a test service featuring a bowl of miso ramen and a drink at 90 dkk. The place was crowded and there were too many small children for my taste. Luckily the ramen came out fairly quickly so we could slurp it down and get the hell out of dodge. The miso ramen comes topped with the traditional combo of chashu, egg, corn, and green onion. The egg in particular stood out for me because it was seasoned perfectly! All the other eggs I've had in ramen in Copenhagen have been under-seasoned or it was drowned out by the flavour of the broth. That being said, the broth was a little weak. I would have liked a little more salt or something else to add some more flavour to the soup. Luckily there were sesame seeds, shichimi togarashi, and chili oil on the table. Chashu was nicely rolled and tasted good without any parts being too dry or fatty. Lastly, I have to say that their noodles are excellent. This is important because they called out Ramen to Biiru for using frozen noodles (http://politiken.dk/ibyen/byliv/ECE3070405/ramen-kampen-raser-koebenhavner-nu-skal-du-spise-nudelsuppe). The texture and taste is excellent and I'd love if they sold it to take home. I have to admit that the noodles are a little bit better than Ramen to Biiru. Kaedama! Although the noodles and egg are on point, I hope they tinker with the broth a bit. This place could easily become 5 stars!

Ramen to the people? Yessir... I'm happy that more ramen shops are opening in Copenhagen. It might be 20 years late compared to other countries, but never mind that, bring me the noodle soup! We were here on their pop up event "come to papa 2.0" when they sold only miso ramen. They would be open officially starting from Friday (Feb 19) and serving both miso and the famous tonkotsu (pork bone broth) ramen. Verdict? Location - it's a bright, modern place with lots of benches, far more seating spaces than Ramen to Biiru, for example. I'm up for more ramen to the people, so two thumbs up from here Broth - this is where I must say that the miso broth is rather thin compared to the tasty ramen to biiru. I like my miso thick, thank you. Noodles - Awesome. I heard they're making their own noodles. Whatever and however they do it, more thumbs up from me Topping - I love their chashu / pork BBQ. While it's rather crumbly and smokey at Ramen to Biiru, this pork slices stay put and taste good. It's there on the soup, lying big and staring at you, you can't miss it. Overall verdict: Four stars so far. I like the soup and honestly, I would eat here any day without complaints. Problem is that I have had better miso somewhere (mentioned above) and for me, ramen is about the broth. No matter what, I can't really complain about the existence of more ramen places in Copenhagen, so four stars from here. I will try their tonkotsu (it's a very popular ramen type) later and update this review, hopefully with an upgrade to five stars. We'll see

We came here for lunch to rehydrate and refortify during our break between sessions at the Copenhagen Beer Celebration. It was thanks to the Yelp app that we found them - down some quiet residential side street; it's a blink-and-you'll-miss-it kind of place. There were no other customers at 14:30 on a Friday - but perhaps we'd missed the lunchtime rush and everyone was back in work? Anyway, we wanted ramen so sat and checked out the menu. Three of us went for the Tonkotsu option; most of the mains were appealing but this shouted out to me the most and we weren't disappointed - the egg, pork, noodles and broth were all delicious and it was slurped up in no time. The pickled onions were a nice element too. Perhaps a tad expensive for what I'm used to paying for ramen / pho in the UK at 120 krone (over £12), but it made for a healthy and tasty meal so I left fully satisfied.

The best ramen in Copenhagen! I found this place thanks to Yelp and decided to give it to try. The place is easy to find and after I entered I made my order at the cash register. The girl at cash register was very nice and did everything right and efficient. After two minutes I got beer and her colleague got me my shoyu ramen in 10 min max. Soup was perfectly hot, nicely strong, well balanced. Noodles were cooked perfectly. The best was the meat! It reminds me my moms style of cooking! The Meat was very very tender, absolutely tasty and nice portion. Besides the bok choy, I liked the corn- it was nicely crunchy. I don't like mushy corn, so I was happy this was not that case. Egg was great too- Nicely half melting inside. Many places cook egg all the way. I came here for food. Ramen. (I saw ppl were writing something like there is missing kids changing table at toilets?! Lol, go to Starbucks. I wish the ppl who comment on that would go to see The Poke shack in Hawaii - the best fish shack in the world!) Papa Ramen impressed me with quality of food. Since I've Worked my whole life in high class food and service industry, I really appreciate places like this. I will be definitely back. This soup may have saved my life after long night partying! PS: Don't expect all Asians to be outgoing and chatty like westerns. They are different. Little bit shy, with big smile, good manners and good hearts. That's why I love them. Guys, go for it and have fun. Life is tasty!

Super clean & simple restaurant. I enjoyed the Ramon a lot. Lots of seating too. I would have enjoyed a little more flavor in the Ramon but I still really liked it. The egg was the best part of mine. I also liked the type of seaweed they used - was different than other Ramon places I have eaten at.

Great service, fabulously seasoned and prepared fresh wheat ramen noodles- I got the kimuchi ramen. Divine!

Nice location, cute place, lots and lots of interesting dishes. Great service. Didnt really like the soupbase, didnt taste of much. I think its a great place for a date or so

Bao with way too fatty pork belly. Notice how completely white it is!

The ramen is not bad...but it is also not good. If you only judge it by Copenhagen standards, then it is ok. The noodles were not particularly good, and the broth is too thin and weak in flavor for it to be considered a good ramen. We ordered the pork belly bao as well - tastes good, but the pork belly was much too fatty, perhaps 80% fat.

I went there when they had half price for their shoyu ramen and a asahi beer. Therefore the ramen soup could've been a bit hotter (I guess they just made huge batches of that particular ramen). When that said, the restaurant is a very nice and cozy place to enjoy you're noodles and a cold beer a summer evening! Their buns were kinda like Chinese style hong shao rou aka sweet and savory slow cooked and steamed pork belly, but they added picked cucumber which was weird. I would go there again

I didn't get the hype here... We paid about 1000 DKK ($160) for 3 bowls of ramen, 1 chicken karaage…read moreand couple drinks. I understood its CPH price but it's not worth it. Ramen bowls were overly salty, and chicken karaage was hard like a rock that we couldn't eat. Definitely not authentic and extremely overpriced. Our server was great, but we had to wait for a while for our orders to come. Such a disappointing experience!!!

She tried to put some lemon in it but some sugar prob would have worked. The ramen I had was excellent. Though a little too salty. All the ingredients were very tasty. For me, this is like 3 meals in one sitting., I ate as much as I could, but I asked the waitress if I could have a container to bring the rest home. I wouldn't think this should be a problem to take your leftover food that you paid for with you, and open up a seat for someone in queue waiting to come in to get a meal. She said she had to ask the chef if I can take a container, and then she asked the chef right in front of me. He looked right at me blankly, and told her no after looking at me. I have to say that was not very nice service. To look right at my face and decide that I'm not to bring my leftovers with me., and just waste all of it. While I can see a stack of leftover containers in the kitchen right from my seat. That was just a shame because more than half of my food was left over. I have a small stomach and I can't eat all this one sitting! Wish I could! I thought I would just eat the rest of it later in the evening. But the chef said no container for you. I tried to eat a little more of it but had to leave a lot of it behind. How wasteful! That really bummed me out when he said no, as I tried to force a few more bites. I wanted to thank him for the meal because it was so delicious, but I was so irritated at that point every time I look at him. To me that was a big strike even if your food is good. I don't think I would go back there again. The waitress was friendly though. I do understand why you don't allow takeout since the art of the bowl would be compromised while walking or biking, I do think when someone has more than half of their food left over you could be gracious to give them a container to put it in. So that was really wasteful and I don't think I would come back here again but if you're very hungry and you can eat a lot of food get there early so you can get a seat otherwise it's a 40 minute wait outside in line on the street, and a very small location with no bathroom. The food was very good. The chef's rude temperment and the leftover container policy needs work.
