Extremely popular place. There was a line when we went for dinner and the way they have set it up for the queue to move, it looked like it happens on a daily basis. Luckily, the line moved quickly because I was losing my patience in 40 degrees F. Fun part: they have no restrooms!! AND on top of it they suggest you grab a drink while you wait in line??! They also have proper alcoholic drinks on the menu. Hilarious! My husband got the Nduja Miso and I got the Shio. Their ramen was good but I will be very honest - I have had similar or way better Ramen at so many places. I think part of the hype this place gets is from the fact that it has no restrooms and people either think it is so cool or feel like that's a challenge.

I had a free afternoon and had heard so much about this place that I had to give it a try. There was a line out front, but I had arrived 15 minutes before opening (on a Wednesday) and was able to get first seating. Ordering was quick and you pay upon placing your order. What I ordered: - Menchi Katsu Sando: Great bread to meat ratio. The meat patty was fried just right and covered in sauce for a nice combination of flavors - Shio Ramen: This surprised me as the broth was lighter than I expected. You can taste a hint of the smoked mackerel in the broth and but overall it made me think of a phở broth, which wasn't a bad thing. It's all counter seating and I luckily got a seat with full view of the kitchen area. This is a good ramen option with some excellent options for side dishes. I'd come back the next time I'm in Copenhagen.

Best ramen in CPH (and serious competition to most ramen places outside CPH)... I am so glad that the group of us did not get too discouraged by the long line outside this place and decided to wait. Boy was it worth it! This place offers the best ramen I've eaten in a long time. I rarely have the capacity to finish a bowl of ramen, but here it was not a problem - and that's as good of a testament to how tasty it was as any. Despite the limited menu, it offers enough variety for different (even the most demanding) palates. It is a small place, with only 21 spots around at the counters. The vibe is fun and unpretentious, the crowd - as multicultural as it gets. Would definitely visit again if/when I am in CPH.

On an October Saturday night, a friend and I waited only five minutes to snag seats inside this 21-seat ramen spot. Here's our experience: 1) Food: It's quality ramen. My friend ordered the shio ramen and I the shoyu ramen. The food came out within ten minutes of ordering. We ended up switching since the shio had more rich flavor, which I enjoy. 2) Service: It's superb! At one point our server moved us to a corner of the bar with more seating since my friend is 6'7". So nice! 3) Space: Only fitting 21 seats makes it cozy and fun! The neon art inside adds to the mystique. The downside of this place is the price tag. It's $25 for a bowl of ramen, the most I've ever paid for a bowl of ramen. It's quality ramen, but $25 worth? I'm not convinced.

I walked past so many times and *every single time* there was a long line out the door. In a city full of great restaurants, I generally do not queue up for food. But I'd been watching this line and reading reviews for months and finally decided to give it a go. What a treat! I waited about 40 minutes in line, but the ramen and also the beef tongue sandwich were excellent.

Wow. Woof. Wow. Rainy evening, first time in Copenhagen. Neon lights, cozy sized ramen bar. This is heaven. Oh, and beer? I'm ready. I've always had a great experience with ramen in most places. Some is better than other, as is with most things. Usually I'm a tonkotsu kind of guy, but sometimes you don't have that option. Here, you don't. Started off with the IPA and a Pils, because you've gotta have beer with ramen. I'm a big fan of the karaage with my ramen. Or even by itself. These fried chicken bits were different. A little sweet, a little spicy, topped with good greens and black seasame seeds. They were so tasty. I really want that sauce. I really do. Shio and Shoyu ramen. If ramen is good, you say it's good. If ramen is bad, you know why it's bad. If it's exceptional, it's usually because there's a milky, fatty, creamy broth. I didn't get that last part with the Shio because that just isn't how shio is. HOWEVER, I'm not knocking it at all. It is GOOD. The meat is perfect, put in at the right time. The noodles are wonderful. The shoyu is a darker broth, more toasty flavor. I actually wish I had ordered that because I kept dropping spoonfuls of my girlfriends broth into mine. If we have a chance to come back, I'll be trying the miso for sure.

If you've eaten ramen in Japan or even places in LA or NY, this is not "traditional" at all - it's more of a fusion ramen place. I'm fine with fusion as long as the flavors mesh and work well, but it was just odd overall. We waited about 45 min and tried the karry fried chicken and shio ramen: 1. The fried chicken had this weird tasting sauce. Perhaps there's curry powder in there? Doesn't really mesh well with the rest of the flavors. 2. Shio ramen consisted of: - This grated white radish (idk if that's really what it's called, just know it's the same as that bed of white shredded veggies in the box sashimi you can get) that didn't really add anything to the noodle soup. I didn't get the point of it. It really just felt like they needed an extra accoutrement and decided to throw the white stuff on there. - Cha siu pork that REALLY WAS CHINESE CHA SIU! Texture and flavor was SO similar to the roast Cha siu you can get at a Canto restaurant. So bizzare tasting that in this ramen. Cha siu should've had more of a Japanese flavor to it. Also, meat was too chewy. - An egg that had the flavor of a Chinese tea egg. Again, what's with this random Chinese tea egg flavor in this shio ramen broth? - Herbs, veggies, and peppercorn which reminded me of more Vietnamese flavors than Japanese. Herbs/veggies/peppercorn were way too strong tasting and didn't really mesh well with all the other random flavors. - Broth and noodles that were standard - broth wasn't too salty and noodles were cooked just right. Honestly, the only 2 good things about the ramen was the broth and the noodles - hence the 2 stars. Please don't wait in line to eat here, 45 min isn't worth it to eat awkward fusion shio ramen.

Without a doubt the best ramen I've ever had...fresh ingredients and bold flavors were better than any I've ever had in New York, DC, and more. The warm welcome added to the experience. Worth 5 stars for sure!

I was only in Copenhagen for three days. I ate here twice! I loved every slurp. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. The food and area was fantastic incredible.

I really do like Slurp but it is not your typical ramen joint (haha). It's really hard to describe but it definitely has Scandanavian influences - it's not as heavy but still has richness in flavor. Service is great and the menu is limited which makes ordering easier. Overall, would recommend anyone who enjoys ramen to try Slurp when they are in Copenhagen. It's hard to describe but it is enjoyable and different.

Amazing ramen place. Was visiting Copenhagen and I'm used to being spoiled at Ippudo in NYC near where I live. This place did not disappoint. I'd happily go back here next time I visit CPH. I also had the crispy fried chicken. Absolutely delicious.

This is by far the best ramen joint in town. Every bowl came with the perfect amount of umami that leaves me with so much joy! What stands out the most about Slurp is the broth. While I definitely enjoy and appreciate a bowl of traditional pork ramen, I always love the clean taste of vegetarian ramen. Unfortunately, it's rather hard to come by--so I was ecstatic to discover that Slurp has it! Absolutely clean broth married with high quality seasonal vegetables, creating the perfect vegetarian combo. Slurp has managed their customers well despite covid-19 restrictions (when dine-in was allowed). Distancing was enforced and the staff were really responsible with keeping tables and chairs clean. Customer service is prompt and very friendly! The vibe of the spot is very much urban-Copenhagen, making the dining experience truly fun. Cannot wait until the lockdown is lifted so we can return as soon as we can!

Send more noods ASAP! I'm giving these guys a 5. It's not necessarily the most traditional ramen you'll ever have but that's okay. They make their noodles fresh and in front of you. Try to get a seat at the bar if you can, they do get busy. On the same note, check their schedules, they close for certain hours of the day and don't open at all on certain days. I got the miso ramen and I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it. The broth was tasty and the small elements like grilled bean sprouts really worked well together. A quick heads up, their soft boiled eggs are actually pickled and smoked. It gives it a funny taste that can be off putting if you're not aware. I enjoyed it but they should really tell people on the menu. Try their homemade hot sauce as well. It's not the spiciest in the world but it's sure tasty. I also want to say that their staff is the best and most friendly bunch I've met. I recommend coming by to Slurp if you're in Copenhagen.
