The main "problem" with Wagamama is the bench-style seating since my husband needs a chair with a back (arms too would be helpful). We've walked away from one of these restaurants because they had nothing suitable to offer us, the Harrow one will bring a chair from the outside seating inside for us and, on this occasion, we were offered seating up at the far end (where the staff go for lunch) which was adequate as it was padded seating against the back wall.

When we initially got to the place we had to wait to be seated as it was quite busy. When we did eventually get seated, we were waiting at least 15 mins before someone came to take our order. The food came quicker though. I had chilli squid (always a fav of mine and it didn't disappoint this time!) and the wagamama ramen. Now I've never had ramen before so I thought I'd try it. I've got to say, although the presentation is great, it's not really one for me. I just found it too bland. The portion size however is really quite generous. Once we had finished our food, it took very long for us to get our bill, even after the waiter had taken our plates and we had refused dessert. I can understand the slow service when it's busy, but it had quietened down a lot by this time and the restaurant was practically half empty! Although I love wagas I've got to say I was disappointed by the service in this particular branch.

I have dropped in to Sushi & Go several times whilst in Bournemouth. It is one of the cleanest,…read morefriendliest and best Sushi bars I have found in the UK. It has very small premises, with seating for perhaps 10 people. But the service is quick and tidy, the food is flavourful and tastes fresh - which is the key to good sushi! - and the staff make you feel very welcome. I dashed in the other night on the way to the cinema with only a few minutes to grab a bite to eat, and was out of the door with a large box of California rolls in under 5 minutes! I would probably go out of my way to go back there if I found myself close by and in need of something to eat, as it is probably the freshest and healthiest fast food in Bournemouth town centre.

It was impossible to park outside on the main road so had to park in a residential road and walk for 5 minutes. Surprisingly we were the only ones here at 7 on a Saturday night - always suspicious when eating somewhere new. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. A choice of set menus are available but I chose crispy chilli beef with egg fried rice instead - the portions were more than I could manage so it's advisable to share if possible. The food itself was satisfactory but nothing amazing. Despite just having mains and a drink it cost almost £20 each; luckily the waitress provided foil trays with lids so I could take my leftovers home with me. A bit pricey for what we got, especially since the food wasn't stand-out great - glad I tried it but I'll be going to another Chinese next time!

As for the grill, I waited for our garlic, witch complement the meat, until we finished two dishes. She asked me a series of questions to see what dishes I might like. She helped me pick a starter and some side dishes. I am a massive fan of Bulgogi, which is why I came here. She recommended that I try the Bulgogi barbeque style. Korean Grill refers to the Korean method of grilling beef, pork, chicken, or other types of meats and vegetables. The meat is grilled right at you table. They apparently use the latest technology grills, which is an electric bio ceramic table barbeque which retains the taste, but at the same time, drains the fats and extra oil out of the meat. With my Bulgogi barbeque, the matron recommended that I also ordered the Sangchoo & Par moochim (lettuce and seasoned spring onions), pajori (spicy scallion, spring onion salad) and ssamjang (a spicy paste made of soy bean paste mixed with chili paste). The the traditional Korean way of consuming BBQ is to wrap the a slice of the meat, vegetables, a dab of chili paste sauce, rice with lettuce and immediately eat with your hands, in one bite the matron advised me. The Korean Grill offers over 60 dishes, inluding 13 side dishes. They also do fresh Kimchi, which has officially been announced as one of top 5 world's healthiest foods. The next time I am in Bournemouth, I will definitely visit the Korean Grill again. It's a real gem.
