We loved every dish we were served. Wonderfully friendly and obliging staff. The venue was spacious, vibrant and funky with a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

This is a hidden gem in the middle of the cesspool that is the Crescent. Ask for a table at the window so you can watch a never ending parade of chavs stumble past your table as you delight in some red curry with chicken, a dish I really enjoyed and highly recommend. My date for the evening had the tofu fried rice, and while I object to eating tofu on principle, I must admit that her dinner was quite delicious. Some evenings feature live music courtesy of a bloke on a stool with a guitar and a microphone. Typically I would walk out of an establishment as soon as I saw the microphone and PA, but we were hungry and--let's face it--it's not safe to be put wandering after dark in the Crescent looking for an alternative restaurant. Imagine my pleasant surprise that the bloke was both talented and not too loud. If you fancy an opportunity to enjoy a scrumptious meal whilst seeing the recipients of your taxes stumble by, watching the minutes tick by in their meaningless lives, all whilst separated by just a pane of glass, Thai Tapas is the place to do it.

KK is a small, quiet Thai restaurant on Christchurch Road…read more The one thing that makes this restaurant a must-visit is the owner/manager. There is no-one more suited to being a host than this man (I've forgotten his name, sorry!). He will make you feel so welcome, and nothing is too much trouble. The level of service goes for all the staff there - the chef once came out to apologise personally to me because my dish was a little bit too spicy! As for the food itself, it's utterly brilliant. Thai food is fantastic anyway, with its variety of flavours, and these really come alive here. There's something for almost everyone (they also do Chinese-style dishes), and it's always been really good. When it comes to paying the bill, it's never a shock. The prices are very reasonable, and it's difficult not to want to leave a generous tip! The restaurant is not for anyone wanting fine dining; sometimes it shows that it's a small, family-owned restaurant. But it's got charm by the bucketload, and great food to go with it

Has become an amazing new Thai restaurant, chok dee…read more Cames across them today at Thai festival. In the restaurant their food is superb, fresh and full of lovely delicous flavours. It's so professionaly done, the chef clearly loves his job! Food presentation is stunning. It's tucked away towards the end of Boscombe high street, but is an absolute gem. An absolute must try! I'm strongly recommending all my friends.
