Terrible. If by training they mean allowing your dog to eliminate in their area then they do a terrific job reverse training months of hard work. The upgraded room was great since the cameras audio didn't work. You might think that if you were quoted a price for X but received a fraction of that you would be charged a fraction of that but not at Wag Hotels. The play area is basically an overpopulated kennel filled with other dogs pee/poop where employees mindlessly walk around in circles, showing no attention to the dogs. They advertise fun activities such as bacon bubbles, kiddie pools, etc. but do not seem to actually do any of that. To top it off, the receptionist was extremely rude and hardly acknowledged us other than to accept our credit card when we picked our dog up. Our dog finally came home today and is so exhausted from lack of sleep probably due to the noise level in the kennel areas. We are just happy to have our puppy home. It's very sad that we allowed our dog to stay here, won't make that mistake again. read more

This Wag Hotel was incredible! It was my first time there and the general manager was so patient and explained everything to me! The staff were very responsive when I called to check in on my pup. I had such a great first experience here. Definitely coming back!!! read more

Took two my dogs to get groomed and the results were amazing. My dog was ready within no time and I will continue to bring my dogs here.

I've always seen this Wag hotel off the 405 freeway. I finally decided to call. There was only an 800 number which my 1st instinct was- this is probably going to be a hassle and time consuming since I wasn't talking to the staff on location. The person over the phone was very helpful so I created Thor's online account and made it a point to go in today. All the staff were amazing!! They answered all my questions, gave me a tour of the place. I let them know that i had requested a bath for him today but because I didn't upload his vaccinations (because he got them this morning) they denied me. They asked if I still wanted him to get a bath and due to this pandemic I know a lot of people are overworked so I try to be understanding. I let them know I wanted to but if they don't have availability it's okay. I can always come back another day. They worked their magic and squeezed him in! They showed Thor so much love and my cub was in heaven! His bath was done within an hour and he came out so happy!! I definitely think we have found a new spot for Thor! Thank you so much!!!!! I was very happy with everything and can't wait to board Thor in June! read more

Dog stayed here the weekend of April 23 for 4 days... He was a little 'off' first week home- sleeping a lot & thought he was just tired from being around so many dogs. Then the symptoms- diarrhea, vomiting... coughing. He got kennel cough from his stay. Now my other dog is showing symptoms so there goes another vet bill. 2 stars Bc the people working there were great w their customer service. read more

I had brought my corgi mix here while I was on vacation and they were wonderful. Crystal was there all along the way and answered any questions I had. I'll always bring my dog here because of the great service I had experienced. read more

I was hesitant to leave a review but after sending my dog here in September, I am left no choice. My family and I went out of town for vacation and trusted the reviews on this location. We felt confident about leaving her with them after researching other places and concluded that this would be a safe place for her. We were only gone for 2 days, but after leaving her with them she came back very scared, paranoid, and aggressive. While she was there she was hiding, scared, and did not want to be around other dogs. We spent time training her and that went down the drain. I'm not sure what happened to her at this place, but now we are unable to really take her anywhere without her being stressed out and wanting to snap. She was never aggressive until we took her here.. so now we have to put her in therapy and private training classes so she can feel calm around other people again. read more

I highly recommend this hotel, my pup coffee stayed this hotel last week, the staffs are amazing. They are very sweet, nice and professional. I could see my pup all days activities through webcam. I could see my pup having fun in the playground during the daytime and have sweet dream during nighttime. I received report card for his stay when check out . Even thought the owner of this hotel had been changed but I have confident to put my baby in this hotel again. read more

Our dog Momo loves Wag hotel!! He's always so excited to play with his buddies there and the staff always make sure he's in line and is well behaved! Momo goes there so excited and comes home exhausted! We are so thankful for Wag Hotel!! read more

This place was awesome! Our dog is very scared to be left anywhere, being a previous shelter dog. The staff here was so sweet with her and tried to make sure she felt comfortable. They even let us take her back and get her settled into her suite, so she could have everything as she is used to. We would recommend Wag Hotels for anyone who has a need to leave their dog for a day, or for an extended time. Their staff all seems to really love dogs. They are also very understanding about fears they may have and try to comfort them and make them feel welcome. read more

I am so grateful this place is located right down the street from my house. I recently saved an incredible pit bull from the shelter, but unfortunately I did not have the time during the week to make sure she was being properly trained with a crate. And while I worked with her on the weekends, it wasn't enough to make sure she wouldn't try to escape or potentially hurt herself while trying to get out of the crate when I wasn't home. Wag Hotel saved Bubbles and my apartment!! The staff are absolutely wonderful! They truly treat your dog like it's their own. Always wonderful customer service and always a happy dog coming out to say hello when I pick her up from Doggy Day Care! I couldn't be more pleased with their professionalism and their dedication to making sure my baby was taken care of and loved. Thank you Wag Hotel for being amazing! And a HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL THE STAFF!! read more

Great place, clean, awesome n caring staff with great customer service !! Our fur babies love it there and I feel comfortable leaving them

Sharlene was great! She provided great customer service and was able to help me out. My dogs are excited!

I've been bringing my puppy Ozzy here since he was able to come, they're always so sweet and so excited to see him and treat him amazing. They even called to let me know when his little puppy teeth fell out. I live in Orange County and would rather drive here than go anywhere else read more

I called Wag, because I had no one to keep my dog, due to my husband taken ill. I was so pleased, because the staff put me on hold and spoke with her supervisor to make special arrangements for my dog. My fiancé and I have been bringing our dog to Wag (formally Pooch Hotel) for months, and have always had a great experience. They are quick, courteous, and the facilities are very nice. They recently were acquired by Wag, and my company offers discounts which is super convenient. We brought Coco for a couple of hours on July 4 and it was a breeze. Thank you team, we will be back!! read more

Love this place! We had to call back to make sure we left the review for the right person. Lol! Jasmine ( hopefully I spelled that right ) was a great help and friendly face to see at the front desk and she gave us the best customer service. She even knew who we were by our dog lol. Safe to say we'll be back again & again. Thanks Jasmine!! read more

Today was Sparty's 1st day at Wag Hotel. I was looking for a safe place to board and also periodic daycare. After passing Wags on my weekly route, I'm so glad I called. After a bad daycare experience where dogs were allowed to run amuck, I found Harley (the ever watchful 2 legged eyes of the yard) to be on top of Sparty's misbehavior (which he also learned running amuck) and with quick and appropriate correction, let Sparty know that was NOT allowed at Wag. They gave me a tour of the facilities and everything was safe, organized and super clean. Lots of runs to give them time to chill and sleep safely with plenty of open air, lots of options and additional care (suite with a tv, bed choices, playtime) you can add to your pets stay. I feel totally at ease leaving him in their capable hands. Thank you Chris, Steve and Harley for making Sparty's first day a positive and totally tiring day. I have a pooped out pup. :-) read more

A place where you would want to chose to place your little buddy while you are off doing whatever it is that you are doing. The staff is welcoming with open arms and minds who will do the best to accommodate what ever services you require(so long as they're not too off the wall) that the staff and hotel service provide(they are flexible). With a nice and relaxing entrance and an aquarium-like display of the play area, you as the buddy's leader are able to observe, ask questions, socialize with the staff, and make yourself a cup of hot coffee. Being a customer of this establishment for many months, I have come to trust this place with my little buddy. They know her, and she knows them. It starts off with typical inquiries, reading and signing forms, then a temperament test. Other services are provided upon request and affordability. In my personal and partial-professional opinion, go check this place out for yourself. They are quite remarkable. read more

Before bringing my dogs to Wag Hotel Carson I was taking them to a dog hotel in Hollywood, my large dog came home depressed for a week. Not at Wag hotel, I watch my large dog play and have fun. He came back home, happy and playful as usual Wag Hotel in Carson is fantastic!!!!. The staff was awesome, friendly, great disposition, professional, knowledgeable and caring for animals. I also had the opportunity to meet with the General Manager, Miss Tiffany very informative and knowledgeable answered my questions. I was comfortable leaving my two pets overnight, toy poodle shadow, an American pit bull terrier Big-Boy with Wag Hotel Carson. My toy poodle is a handful, very energetic, and loves to play 24/27. The staff kept him busy All day. Web Cams are also available. I was able to watch my dogs play and interact with the other dogs. I'm writing this review a few weeks after my baby's appointment. This was our first time giving our 5 month old puppy a groom. I searched everywhere in my area for groomers but none made me feel safe. I'm very hesitant when it comes to my Theo. He's my life so I wanted to go somewhere where I felt like he was going to be safe. With all these accidents happening to pets in places like petco and others, I wanted to make sure I chose the correct place. Making an appointment and sending over documents was so easy. Either upload on the app or over the phone through email ( email was faster for me). The phone reps where the nicest people! When we arrived at the Carson Ca location we were greeted and helped right after we entered. We got there a little earlier that our appointment which was fine. Our groomer Sara ( I believe that was her name) was the nicest ever! Since we are first time doggy parents we didn't know what brushes we needed for his after groom care. She showed us her brushes and combs for us to purchase and we are so thankful because we had no idea. As for Theo's groom, he was looking so handsome we got compliments by everyone! Overall, our experience was amazing. We totally recommend the groomers service!! read more

Sigh, I'm so disappointed that I have to leave a less than excellent review but I honestly was incredibly disappointed in the grooming service that my Coco received her. I brought my 6 month old Morkie here for her first ever grooming/ cut and I almost didn't recognize her when she was returned to me. Coco is a fluffy dog. Her fluff is, well was one of my favorite things about her appearance and I specified that I still wanted her fluffy. I asked for a trim around her eyes so they could be more visible and a trim on her paws and a little trim around her body. When I got coco back she was practically bald and totally unrecognizable. Since she's been back she's been acting like a completely different dog. Almost as if the experience was traumatic for her. A bad cut I can tryyyy to overlook but the livelihood of my baby girl has left me feeling even more disappointed. The manager did his best to rectify the situation and I appreciate his efforts on that but I simply was not given what I was asked. I was told she may have been cut so low because her fur may have had matting near the skin but her body doesn't get that matted and given that i bathe her weekly I know even a simple condition on her dry coat would remove the matting. They've received really good reviews so I thought I'd have a great experience but that was in NOT my case. read more

I have been taking my dog Thor here for the past month. He does the All Day Play and absolutely loves it. He gets to socialize and get all of his crazy puppy energy out. When he comes home he is exhausted from his fun day. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I am so glad my friend recommended taking my dog here. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place! My dog is always so excited to come here and claws at the door to get in. The staff is very friendly and my dog loves them! My dog goes to All Day Play for the smaller dogs-- I love how they separate the large dogs from the small dogs as my dog isn't too excited with hanging out with bigger ones. The staff is competent and organized which I am grateful for as I originally came here after having a disastrous experience at another day care where there was a breakdown in communication between staff that resulted in them not feeding my dog for 4 days (and I had requested for them to feed him breakfast and dinner there--so he didn't get food for 4 days!!). This place redeemed my faith in finding a place that I could trust with my pup. read more

I trusted this place with my baby, Levi, and they didn't disappoint. The woman who checked in Levi the first time was so patient and friendly with me. I asked to see the facility and they showed me everything. Levi had his own room with his bedding and his toy, so he was comfy and he had a few hours of play time too. Thank you for loving my baby. One recommendation, that honestly didn't bug me, but may bug others, a more cautious check-in. Make sure what people bring in with their dog comes back out with them. read more

Excellent clean place for your pet. I was in a situation where my sitter cancelled last minute and I found this place ... popped in to take a look unannounced and to my surprise it was so clean and professional. My Trevor got in time out for "mounting" . He knows the rules now. Pricing is fair and worth it. read more

I love wag hotels in Carson so much! Sienna, the groomer, is always happy to see Mylo (the dog), and she loves giving my husky a bath. Not only is she knowledgeable about all the breeds she bathes, she has recommended different types of bones for his teeth that are good to keep his teeth shining. Tiffany the manager, is awesome! Always wondering what's new with Mylo, and how is he doing. Anytime I have a question, she is always clear and gives me information that is very useful. She has made Mylo stay at wag so memorable. Last but not least Mylo friend, Jackie (a worker), who constantly checks on Mylo and plays with him. Every-time Mylo sees Jackie, he jumps for joy and she embraces him like he is her own puppy. I love Wag hotels in Carson! read more

I love Wag Hotel and highly recommend it. The staff has been extremely helpful and genuinely cares about every dog, giving them the love and attention they need. The facility has cameras that gives you the opportunity to see your pet while they are away. My dog has benefited from the socialization which has been hard during the pandemic. It also gives me relief to know that they have strict vaccination requirements for every pet. read more

Wags Hotel in Carson is wonderful. I took my two Corgi's for daycare but I was apprehensive since they had never been around other dogs. The staff was amazing each staff person I interacted with was patient and they clearly love what they do. So far my experience has been great. I have a Husky dog who requires a lot of energy and it's been great to have Wag Hotels as an alternative. My interactions with the staff at this location have all been great and I recently met the manager, Michael, who was very friendly and helpful. So far I've only done day stays, but will be doing an overnight stay in the weeks to come. read more
