Took my fur babies for the first time there although they didn't get to enjoy it because they were still trying to adjust to the new environment they were introduced to but all and all the workers and the team at the Carson location made them feel at home the moment they arrived. And they were excited to meet our dogs as well. They feel comfortable and safe around the workers because they are super friendly. Thank you for making our fur babies two days daycare a blessed one. read more

I'm a person who is really big on customer service. I pay close attention to how managers and staff are accommodating and how they treat customers, even while they're facing challenges on the job. Mike and Helmuth are truly exceptional managers who respond promptly and professionally. They truly want you and your dogs to feel comfortable during their stay at the hotel. I love how I can see my dogs in their rooms in the deluxe suite and can give them treats while they're in the room from my phone! Amazing! Roxy is also a gem. She is very sweet and very patient with customers. Kevin is one of the trainers who is very thorough at his job and is very detailed on how your dogs handled training, which shows he really has a passion for his job. Great hotel and location! read more

Good job for having my dog "Maddox" being washed. Well honest and organized with communication.

The staff was very friendly and personable. I dropped my dog off for the first time and boarded her there. I like that they have access to cameras so I could check in with my dog time to time. They are not like other places where they leave your dog in a small box. They actually interact with the animals and the dogs have plenty of room to run around. They made me feel comfortable leaving my dog with them. Definitely will be a returning customer. 10/10!! read more

I left my ten month old Husky named Nova here for the weekend because my girlfriend and I celebrated our anniversary in Vegas and we couldn't be happier! I'm naturally skeptical of these types of places but honestly they removed all doubt. This place is a godsend, they worked with our specific schedule and we were able to drop her off at 5 am Friday morning and pick her up 5 pm Sunday. She has some separation anxiety so we called in a few times over the weekend to see how she was doing and an employee named Tiffany was more than happy to update us and inform us on a lot of activities she was in as well as her behavior and appetite. They have themes for each day and many fun activities for your dog and I know that Nova was happy being there while we were away. Unfortunately I didn't get a specific employee name cus we had a grueling five hour drive and were so drained, but the young African American woman with very pretty curly/wavy hair that was working the front desk/check out here at 5pm on Sunday 11/15/20 was soooo nice and upbeat and helpful. She made me feel so good about leaving my puppy here I can tell she was really an animal person and loved what she was doing. We will definitely use this service again, thank you Wag Hotels!! read more

Very clean facility. Staff was extremely helpful when catering to the needs of my 2 dogs. Very responsive when making a reservation and even contacted me to update me on how our dogs were doing. Would definitely bring our dogs back for another stay. read more

they suck. my dog had only been there two days. and i found out that 1. they will starve your dog, and 2. throw the freaking FOOD AWAY if the dog doesn't eat like ??? why would i not want the food i spent $ on, back... idiots. and 3. they'll charge u 5$ just to feed them and even if they dont eat, you still get charged. very stupidly ran establishment. 11/10 dont recommend. read more

I struggled with placing my 3 pitbulls in a doggie hotel. However when I walked into the Wag Hotel in Carson I immediately felt a since of peace. My dogs Zeus, Queen and Missy were boarded for 5 days and not one day did I worry. This place has a webcam, twin size bed in the room we choose and also a flat screen TV. I looked at them when I got lonely only to see they were having a blast! I can't say enough from the care they received to the welcoming team at the front desk we were beyond pleased. Thank you Wag Hotel in Carson, your entire team has outstanding customer service and I can feel that they really enjoy what they do!!! read more

My dog Pumpkin has boarded with Wag Carson and Wag West Hollywood a few times now. She is a really shy dog, and I have a lot of anxiety about boarding her, but Wag Hotel has been amazing! When we arrived at the Carson hotel last week, one of the employees came to get Pumpkin and introduced himself and took a few minutes to let Pumpkin get used to him. I've called both hotels at random hours to get updates and change Pumpkin's stay or add services and they're always very accommodating. This past stay, Pumpkin even got a couple free upgrades/added services when we extended her stay one night. Wag Hotel makes me feel a lot less stressed when I have to travel without Pumpkin. read more

Wag has made our lives so much easier! We have a puppy who is 150lbs at 1 year old. He is very well trained but still gets excited and is a real handful. I love being able to drop him off for daycare while I am work. Just knowing he is getting plenty of playtime and attention allows me to concentrate on my day. When i pick him up I am given photos and cute stories of his activities during the day. The first week of each month is always a special camp with a theme and special activities. In October there was a corn maze and bobbing for apples. You can tell the staff puts alot of time and energy into each day. When we walk in everyone knows him by name and there is no better feeling than him running into daycare without looking back. We also started leaving him there when we go on vacation. He recently was there for 8 days. We have a complex feeding routine (and alot of food) and its always followed. I also LOVE the suites with the pet cam and the treat dispenser. They also have add ons that we have tried like splash time or a peanut butter kong snack. Not only do I trust wag I love them so much because each person goes above and beyond for my puppy. Last tip the 24 hour pickup and drop off is amazing!! Our flight was delayed 2 hours and we didnt have to worry about leaving him there until they open in the morning- we got to pick him up at midnight. This is a clean well run hotel and you can tell they take great care of their employees and our pets! read more

DO NOT SEND YOUR FUR BABY HERE! I had my puppy try out their day care today and was hesitant after reading some reviews but decided to give them a chance but i wish i didn't. My puppy is on a special freeze dried raw diet and i made sure to send him with the proper amount of food as well as instructions printed and taped to the container with his photo. After watching the web cams i noticed that Gunner wasn't really playing with any of the dogs and just seemed lethargic which isn't normal for him. (I send him a to a different daycamp close to my work but wanted to try one closer to home): so i called and asked if they fed him and the attendant said he did have breakfast and they were getting ready to feed him lunch. She confirmed that he was in fact eating the food i provided. When my dad went to pick Gunner up for the day he got the Tupperware back and counted out the same amount of food that i sent him there with! My puppy was there from 8a-5p with NO FOOD! The worst place to send your dog! And when questioned about the food they said he ate but he obviously didn't eat the food e provided even when i called to confirm! read more

I LOVE this place more than words! From the moment you walk in you're greeted and reassured these caring people are going to love your dog as if it were their own. I love the fact you can watch your dogs play all day via the webcams. The staff are always around and in the play area with the dogs. It's one thing to love dogs, but it's another to know and recognize their behaviors, personalities and what they need/want. The staff here is amazing and I will defiantly be boarding here again.... read more

This was the first place I boarded my pup Nala at and I was very impressed. She has very bad separation anxiety and is very timid so I was pretty nervous about her first boarding. The staff was awesome with her and gave me updates on how she was doing every day. Highly recommend if you're nervous about boarding your dog for the first time like I was. Will definitely be using them again in the future! read more

We loved wag hotel ... everyone was awesome and made you feel so comfortable.. the manager and marketing assistant went the extra mile for us !! This place seemed pretty good from when my friend and I took a tour of it so she could board her dog for the 4th of July. We set the dog up with a nice room, all day play, grooming. They have cameras so you can watch the dogs play and ALL DAY on the 4th we did not see her dog 1 time. Then she calls the morning after and they said they would bathe him around 9. She showed up at 11am and the dog was still not bathed and they tried charging her for grooming and all day play and the dog didnt get any of it. Maybe they got too busy for the holiday but something needs to change there and we will not be back. read more

Took my beagle chihuahua mix, Brandy here while our family was on vacation. I loved the fact that i could check on her whenever through a live streaming experience. The staff was friendly and helpful with every question my mom had to ensure that Brandy would have a comfortable and nice stay at the WAG hotel. I would highly recommend wag hotels especially this location. read more

Like many people we got a puppy during COVID. We where planning to get one anyway. The timing was right when I contacted a friend and he said he had a litter of Westies. Noula came into our life at 8 weeks old and she is a joy. Things have been going well until we realized we needed to socialize her with other dogs. Our trainer suggested the Wag Hotel. I live close to and used to pass it daily on my way to work. I contacted them and requested a tour of the facilities. I was able to go the same day. The facility is clean and beautiful. The staff really cares about the dogs. I explained Noula's lack of exposure and they where willing to work with us. I didn't have a second thought about trusting them with Noula. I completed the paperwork after the tour and brought her in the next day. They have a camera so you can check on your dog any time. The staff is up beat and they offer enrichment programs. The prices are reasonable as well. Give them a chance you won't regret it. read more

As amazing as amazing can get! I love taking my little man Kennedy to Wag Hotel ! Liz, Steven and Mike and the rest of the Wag Crew take great care of my boston terrier! Booked him up for 5 days in their presidential suite and I got to scope out my little baby via webcam while I was out of the country and he was well taken care of. I also booked him for some grooming and some dog treats and personalized care and he received it all! When I went to pick him up he had a fresh blue bandana and was super stoked on life and smelling good!! For 4th of July I did a last minute booking because he was having such a hard time with the fire works and Wag Hotel accommodated to his every need. Kennedy loves his Wag Crew as Do I! Dog Mom's and even dad's rest assured this is your furry family's place to be.. can't thank them enough for the great care and professional and fun staff! Always smiles! Booked another 2 weeks and i'm more than sure Kennedy is ready to PAW-TY ON and get LIT over at Wag! Thanks again for the great and attentive service!!! read more

We boarded our 8 month old pup for ten days for the first time at the Carson location. We had him go in for a couple of play dates so he could get use to it. He ultimately didn't love the all day play, but ended up doing the two one hour sessions & am/pm walks. The cameras are a plus because you can check in on your dog anytime & call for updates. The staff was super helpful, sweet & made our dog feel comfortable. read more

Had never boarded my dogs at all prior to this stay. Would not hesitate to bring them back again. Everyone was friendly, professional and my furkids seemed happy when I picked them up. Thank you! read more

I am not good with OK, but our baby was alive and healthy and I guess that accounts for something. I left our fur-baby over the weekend and was not happy that I could not see or get information out of anyone on how he was doing. I got the sign on and I could not get in. I am used to not seeing him on camera at another facility so I decided to call and get information instead. I was put on hold and told they would call me back, never got a call back. I left a message and no reply. I called and no one picked up. When we finally picked up our fur-baby he would not stop barking and crying upon pick up, during the ride home and he threw tantrums for another 1/2 hour. He was visibly and verbally upset. I still can't find out how his stay was. Did he have issues with another dog, did he eat well, did he have issue with going potty, was he good overall or did he have a moment. Not one word nothing. I can say I am not happy at all and don't feel I would give this place another try. We were recommended this place and if I could do it over again, I would of left him at the old place. Granted his last experience didn't go well, but at least I could call and find out how he was and they put me on speaker so he could hear my voice. I was able to request additional things if he wasn't doing well to make the his stay less uncomfortable. It was a big disappointment at the Wag Hotel. read more

As an overprotective dog mom I searched long and hard for a place to board my dog for the first time. The staff immediately made me feel comfortable due to their friendliness and thoroughness in explaining their services. I was given a tour of the facilities and was impressed by the cleanliness and organization of everything. I was feeling anxious the first day I left him but was put at ease after a quick check in phone call. My 8 month old puppy is very high energy and not neutered and they were very well trained to handle him and gave him special care due to not being neutered. When I picked him up, all the staff said bye to him and gave him goodbye love! The receptionist even gave me a hug and congratulated me on my upcoming wedding:) He was also fresh and clean from their grooming services. The prices were very reasonably and worth it to know my baby was in such great care! Safe to say, I will DEFINITELY be back and HIGHLY recommended this place to all my overprotective dog moms out there! -Colt Smearman's Mom read more

Wow! Or maybe Bow Wow! Can't tell you how good these people are! They treat my dog Daisy so well that she actually wags her tail every time we pull up to the Wag Hotel. I understand why she's so happy, too: the staff all offer her such personal treatment. She goes in happy and comes out happy. The staff all offer me personal treatment, too, especially Mike, who manages the place. He's a very cool, calm, laid-back and welcoming dude who takes everything in his stride. And Liz, well, what can I say about her? She has a great smile, and knows something really important: how to be professional and personal at the same time. Best of all, she makes sure Daisy gets a big hug every time we leave the place. The folks at Wag enable me to concentrate 100% on my work when I have to travel. They give me full confidence that Daisy is being well-cared for and well-cared for in a very personal way. Yes, the Wag Hotel in Carson, California, gets a full five stars from me. This is an exceptional place, with exceptional people. read more
