    Swimming was his first activity

Best day ever! We have dropped our dog off at many a daycare and he has never come home so happy and tired. He had a wonderful day with the super friendly and knowledgeable staff. He went for a swim when he arrived and they sent me photos, a nap, dinner and playdate. We can not be back fast enough! Definitely go, well worth it!

If I could give this place a million stars I would! The staff here is absolutely incredible. The way they embrace our dog when we walk through the door I know in my heart they love him as much as we do. The facility is clean and has activities galore. Our guy learned to swim here and now loves the water. He is socialized with other dogs and is better for it. We get picture updates and report cards on his day. Do not hesitate to use this facility, it's an absolute gem! Look at the picture, he's literally smiling!

Blood from traumatic injury sustained at Wag Central. Sorry for the graphic photo, but this was our dog's condition at pick-up.

My dog was boarded there twice. I liked receiving daily photos and add-on options. Unfortunately, when I picked my dog up after his second stay there, he was bleeding and injured. We had to rush him to the vet and was told he had a "traumatic injury," that consisted of SIGNIFICANT BRUISING AND LACERATIONS! Kate followed up with me a few days later and told me she will be reviewing the cameras to find out what happened. It doesn't seem they followed their own procedures during my dog's stay there, resulting in his injury. And I got conflicting stories about staff not seeing any bleeding, but later saying they saw bleeding the day before but couldn't tell where it was coming from. Kate said the owner would be following up with me that same day or the next day. No one has reached out to date. Thankfully my dog recovered (two vet visits later- costing $400), but I will never use Wag Central again under any circumstance.

Our dog Delta has been there twice in the past couple of weeks. The place is beautiful and staff super friendly, but the nicest thing was to see how happy she was to go back the second time. We received photos and cute texts from our dog each evening. You can tell that the staff genuinely enjoy the dogs. My wife is so impressed with the place that she wants to work there. When I dropped off Delta the first time, I was so impressed with how nice the facility was that I took pics for my wife and told her that she would want to live there. My only negative comment would be that the intake processing took 15 -20 minutes, but they have only been open for a couple of weeks, so that will improve as they refine the process.

From leash pulling to barking, and even separation anxiety, Maggie was testing our every nerve. Michael came and showed us that it was not about dominating your dog, but leading them. Through just a few verbal and visual cues we were able to help Maggie understand that she did not have to be the leader, and that we would take care of her. Now she is happy to sit back, relax, and let us take the reins. She is an absolute gem on walks now. Knowing that we will have Michael throughout Maggie's lifetime is a relief, because we know that he will be able to guide us through any future life hurdles. Thank you, Michael!

After our first session there was great improvement. Richard used positive reinforcement and it was fun for our dog. I found it simple to incorporate the training methods into our everyday activities. It's been a few months now and and Owen no longer has issues. I used what I learned with all three dogs and it's made a huge difference in our home. No more stress, all the dogs get along nicely and play together. All three dogs pay attention and listen to me. I am so happy I found Bark Busters. I couldn't ask for a better outcome. Prior to our training, Vickie explained everything to me and answered all questions. The fees are very reasonable too. I highly recommend Bark Busters and wouldn't go anywhere else.

Nick Morrow said he had things for her to do that were not the basic course. After 1 week, they are supposed to provide a video and they did not do that. I was supposed to be getting communication through a messenger app, but that didn't happen until the day before pickup, when they also finally provided a video. When I came to pick her up, she had a bloody puncture on the bridge of her nose, which, to me, looked like a dog bite, but Nick Morrow says it's a normal scratch the dogs get from nosing the kennel. The "scratch" has not healed after a month. Regarding the training, Nick had another person train my dog and they did the basic training, like I said not to do. My dog regressed in her training because she is highly anticipatory. The beginning training countered the higher-level training already taught. Bottom line, not only did my dog come back battered, but I had to retrain her from what they did. They don't follow specific requests and don't communicate as I would've wanted during the tenure. I wish I put her in a safe shelter, instead. Nick Morrow wouldn't return any money because he thinks he did a good job. Just don't go there.

We were immediately happy with the results, the love, and the attention our dog got from being with them. From the moment we walked through the doors, the team made us feel welcome and at ease. Our dog spent an initial training program with Luciana and her team, and since then, he visits every few months for a refresh or a holiday stay. They have given us sound advice on everything having to do with our dog! The trainers are incredibly knowledgeable and patient, tailoring the sessions to meet our dog's specific needs. The facility is clean, well-organized, and designed with dogs' safety and comfort in mind. They also have great customer service--always prompt to answer questions and flexible with scheduling. I highly recommend Balanced K-9 to anyone looking for professional, effective, and compassionate dog training and caring.

You thought you did everything right by giving your dog so much love and socialization only to now be faced with questions and comments like " why didn't you just train your dog ?" , " you're not the alpha to your dog", " you shouldn't be a dog owner" on a regular basis. I have a 6 year old boxer ( the social , goofy clowns of the dog breeds) . I've worked with dogs in the past as a kennel attendant, and grown up with dogs my entire life and never thought I would be in this situation . I struggled to find a trainer whose techniques showed progress which lead to inconsistency, a lot of frustration and doubt . Eventually taking him places like the vet and groomer caused me such extreme anxiety. When I met Tom , my dog was unapproachable by strangers , including Tom initially. It took a month or so of meeting up , going on walks and practicing techniques at home but I was seeing improvement! Not long after Tom was able to take the leash from me and walk Gus, and we could walk near other people without Gus acting like a total maniac , lunging , barking and snapping. It was like he was a normal (ish) dog . Gus is 6 , so it will be a slow process to break him out of this behavior , but he has improved so much in the last 6 months .. I never thought I would get this far. I still have my work cut out for me but this training has also helped me increase my confidence as a dog owner and learn to trust my dog again. I'm not longer so nervous to take him out on walks because I feel like I'm in control.( Holding back an 80 pound boxer is not an easy task ) . I definitely recommend Tom if you are struggling with a similar situation. It probably has been the best thing I have ever done for Gus!
