The facility and the staff were absolutely amazing for our two Great Dane boys. They would match the play group with their personality and activity, which they would come home tired and happy from a fun day. They also loved every staff member and were always happy to see them when they arrive! One of our pups had surgery and couldn't stay home after the first couple weeks due to our work, but their "Day and Play" program is exceptional for needing to be away from other dogs until medically cleared. Despite being alone, he had a buddy throughout the day for low-level play time and enrichment to keep him busy. We highly recommend taking your dogs to Central Bark in Atlanta! We honestly wish we could've picked them up and take them with us to our new home destination. Even if your dog can't be with other dogs for some reason, they will not be bored! We miss them dearly!

We started with puppy assessment and then the no-commitment month of daycare, and Zara absolutely loved it. Given that this was a membership based program and I had to kore or less commit to a day, I took some time to sign up but finally gave in. We even enrolled her in circuit training to get all her energy out when she's there. A few notes: * pickup and drop off is a breeze, as the reception is always well staffed even with a constant flow of people. Never had to wait more than a few minutes. * the facility is clean, staff are friendly and professional and they have a lot of play areas for the dogs * circuit training is amazing. Zara loved it.. we got a detailed report and videos and she looked like she was enjoying herself to the max. * it's been easy to adjust Zara's days as needed through a phone call or email. Since you are charged every week, you can either ask them to fit you in on another day that week if your schedule changes or just have that credit build up - to use for daycare, grooming or boarding. * they offer personal training as well if you want them to help you out with some behaviors, commands etc. Overall, we really like this place. The staff knows Zara when they see her and she is excited to go to CBA. We've even gotten her on to two days a week since she likes it so much. Btw: they have some parking spots around their facility but a lot of place to park on the street (it's not busy so that works out) especially for drop off/pick up at the busy times. They also offer grooming services and a mini store where you can get tags, treats etc.

They WILL NOT warm up to anyone and especially in their own home. From the moment that Tom walked in they were all about the cuddles and special time with him. When I am gone for extended periods of time its not just a matter of leaving my girls with someone but also leaving my home. I have NEVER felt worried or anxious about either when I knew Tom was on the job. He is incredibly reliable and so detailed about the care he provides. Our trips wouldnt be the same without the periodic texts with the most adorable pictures of our girls when hes there. Tom truly is a godsend, even at the last minute he has accomodated us. Sometimes I think more for the girls than for me :) I have tried a few other people before Tom and even gone the route of daycare. The girls have done ok in each of the situations but they have never been totally fine, with that neither have I. I can honestly say that if it werent for Tom I wouldnt be able to travel at all. I have never found anyone that genuinely cares about my girls as much as I do except for Tom. It shows in the pictures he sends and it shows in how at peace the girls are when he's here.

I was gone for a week and not only did the house look better than I had left it but the animals were happier and he had even taken out our trash pile in the backyard. He kept us posted everyday on how the animals were, MADE A LOG of daily events and even made a cute collage of pictures of the animals. I feel like I was there the whole time with my babies. If you are looking for someone who is respectable, responsible, and over the top great, Tom is your best bet. I won't trust anyone else with my pets!

Olga met with me prior to the first time pet sitting to meet my dogs and cat - she spent a time getting to know them and learning their routines and care. The first time she cared from my group, it was unexpectedly cold and my dogs typically stay outside for the day. Olga altered her schedule so that she could come over extra times throughout the day since the dogs had to stay inside due to the cold. She kept in close contact with me on the weather and when she thought it was safe to let them stay out. Olga's love for animals is so apparent - I felt she cared from my group just as she would her own. I looked forward to her comments and pictures she sent after each of her visits - reassuring me that all was going great and everyone was healthy and happy while I was a way. Would not recommend for long-term boarding, especially for dogs needing coat maintenance…read more I boarded my Shih Tzu here from July 11-22. She has a drop coat that requires regular brushing to prevent matting -- I know that's not something a boarding facility can do for free every day, and I never expected that. At drop-off, I explained this to a young woman, possibly Haley (who was doing intake) and the groomer, who happened to be there. I even brought my own brushes and asked for her to be brushed 2-3 times during the week. I was told they'd check with the groomers. We also scheduled a mini groom for pickup day, July 22nd. Over the following days, I checked in on the webcam when I could and noticed she was looking increasingly disheveled. On July 19th, I reached out again to confirm the grooming appointment and to ask if anyone was brushing her, since she looked matted on camera. Haley responded right away and said she'd ask the groomers. On the morning of the 22nd, I got a call from the groomer explaining that my dog was severely matted and would need to be shaved down. When I reminded him I had specifically requested regular brushing at drop-off, he asked who I'd spoken to -- it became clear that the request had not been passed along or acted on for the entire two-week stay. He was apologetic, waived the dematting fee (which I would never have paid), and said he'd try to save as much coat length as possible. When I picked her up, it was obvious he'd tried, but the result was thinned out, uneven and choppy -- chunks clipped short around the mats, with a longer matted section left near her neck and tail and her top knot was a dreadlock. She looked worse, not better, and I had to book an emergency appointment at PetSmart of all places afterward just to even out her cut. What frustrates me most is that this was preventable. A specific, repeated request was made at drop-off and again mid-stay, and nothing happened until the final morning when it was too late to do anything but shave portions of her coat. Why not just do a proper cut? I was hoping this could be a regular daycare spot for my dog since I'm heading back into the office a few days a week, but after this experience I won't be returning. And realized I owe this fantastic person a review. A very long story short, in 2015 I found myself in temporary housing after a move back to Atlanta to start a new job. It was a very difficult situation with two rescue dogs that suffered from anxiety/separation issues. The day prior my daytime pet arrangements had fallen through. I also had work travel imminent. I was in a panic and massively stressed. The same day I called Karen, she showed up to meet me and the two pups. They took to her immediately, even my ultra scared/shy guy who shivered and shook around people. She confidentially handled them, kindly calmed my anxiety over the situation and had it under control. She could double as a therapist!!! The next day while I was at work all went totally fine with their walk. I even received text photos with details of how it went. The pups were happy, I was relieved of stress and life suddenly became simpler. For simplicity sake I've glossed over a very trying and rough time in life. But for Karen and her team it would not have turned out so well. With a world of gratitude and thanks, I HIGHLY recommend.
