My wife and I have been eating waffles from @waffleluv since we first happened upon them almost two years ago in a park and ride in Lehi in the dead of winter. While they are a bit on the pricey side, your mouth will thank you. I personally go back and forth from getting a waffle with the works to just getting a plain waffle with just chocolate sticks inside that I eat like a cookie, yum. Either way I'm almost never disappointed (except when they have to use whipped cream from a can, that will taint your waffle). read more

Thick homemade waffles. Fresh fruit, biscotti crunchy from a jar, The whipped cream on top is not overly sweet. I'm pretty sure it's made by them.! All of these ingredients tighten perfectly and one doesn't over the other they blend perfectly in your mouth ! I've been going to these guys since they were a food truck in Orem. I live in Layton now, but I was born in Provo! but every time I'm on the Provo/orem hill. I stop by! Last time it had been so long that my stomach got really full with maybe 3/4 of a waffle! If you like waffles, as well as i, i know this will not disappoint! They usually have fresh flowers at every table. They have quality cutlery.! It's just a well thought out place.! read more

You know I thought I had the ability to make a pretty good waffle at my house, but boy was iron. These guys have perfected the art of a white crispy delicious waffle and their toppings make you think you're eating dessert! I can't wait to be able to go back and enjoy some more of the toppings and experience even more of their selection. Very very good. The only reason I don't give it five stars did feel the price is a little high for waffles. But like I said, these things are very good. read more

A bit of a high priced sugar indulgence but definitely will get you points with your spouse and kids! Get a loyalty card because you'll be back. Update: Okay, I'm annoyed that they automatically put a suggested tip up on the screen when you go to pay. I doubt they are getting paid under the minimum wage, considering how pricey the waffles are. Since the point of sale screen is facing the entire line when you pay for the order, your selection becomes quite public. My suggestion is that they get rid of the automatic tip and just focus on delivering good waffles at a price that maximizes returns to they can pay their employees fairly. If people want to tip, let them click a "add a tip" button. read more

I asked for the best/most popular item. I got the red velvet. While waiting for my waffle, a girl comes to make an order to which she was asked if it was her first time. She said yes, then the guy gave her a punch card. He also punched it out completely for her. She was attractive sure. I'm standing there thinking to myself about "hey, where's my punch card?". Granted I didn't know one existed. Really quick though... Do your job right. It's probably a great way to meet women but food for thought, you work for a food truck. Back to the red velvet. It was amazing-at first. Halfway through I just felt a little weird. Maybe being hungry and eating something so heavy on sugar wasn't a good idea. Minutes after finishing the waffle, my stomach turned upside down. I felt like such crap after that. It gave me the burps and work requires a lot of talking. In the end, I am okay with not having a punch card. This waffle would work great in a small dose or maybe a dessert. I was gonna give the benefit of, oh hey maybe my body is taking it a certain way but my coworker caught the same feeling right before I did. read more

Biscoff with bananas cuh! And the waffle is good too. Not that Dee's (nuts) Restaurant or Denny's stuff either. They aren't that big but its hella good tho! I only have one complaint, they always be hella far like in Sandy or Draper. But its all good cuz its alllllll good! read more

So, I've been hearing a lot about this food truck and of course, their waffle ... Hence, this morning, I'm looking specifically for the location of the food truck... It was luckily parked close by our place in 12300 south this morning. So I came down with my family ... As we came down around 10am, we already saw a queue line, so I dropped my wife as I need to go to nearby bank first. My six year old is very excited about the truck as he's been talking about having a waffle since early morning. As I came back 10 min later, my wife is still in the line but she seems to make few friends already. So I joined her with my son on the line... My wife told me to order the favorites based on her "new" friend recommendation. So we order the waffle works and Nutella love. My son ordered another separate waffle with chocolate inside. The waffle itself is simply delicious... It is nicely sweet (so it is sweet but not too sweet) and the cream is just perfect... I like the waffle with Biscoff better than with Nutella (too sweet) and the strawberry and raspberry are truly fresh ! So, we have a literally fulfilling morning... Love it ! I found the favorite waffle price is rather steep for around $8 and with tax and tip, the total is $10 per plate... I don't mind it once in a while though ... It's worth the price and wait ! read more

The waffles were good and crispy. But the inside was still doughy. So it made it only ok. Had the bananas and cream waffle and the sunrise waffle which had lemon curd and raspberries with whipped cream. They were good and I liked the fresh fruit; but it wasn't that great to me. I know many people that have suggested this, so maybe it's just not for me, even though I love sweets and whipped cream. There was way too much whipped cream for my taste (and I'm a whipped cream lover!) It was good, but next time we will pass...sorry. read more

Breakfast from this food truck is an absolute treat. Visited them in parking lot next Lowe's in West Jordan a few weeks back. Pros: amazing food, great combinations offered, perfect portion sizes (kids can split), very friendly staff, updated facebook/twitter feed to find current location. Cons: long line, took about 20/25 minutes to go through the line and get our food, also cost, ~$7 a waffle if you put any toppings on it (which is a must), not outrageous but a buck or two higher than I'd prefer. read more

Sweet, decadent, delicious. They always get the waffle right, just crunchy and sweet enough. They're so simple to make, I now do my own at home with more available fruit and toppings. They range in price from around $4-8 depending on toppings. We usually catch them at odd locations and end up eating in our car, which guarantees a spill and a mess. Just grab extra napkins and enjoy. read more

Surprisingly tasty waffle deserts. I've sampled several different toppings and they were all good. The waffle itself it really tasty. Everyone in our group made a comment about the waffle portion. They have all the sweet toppings you could want. Unfortunately they don't have any savory toppings to choose from. Reasonably priced considering the quality and taste. Portions are moderately sized and the toppings are applied fairly liberally. The long lines are a good indicator of its quality. read more

The truck was near my house so we decided to check it out and see what the fuss was about. THIRTY MINUTES LATER our waffle was done. Sorry, not worth it. At all! The staff acted like it was a privilege for us that we got to wait for their food. They had this weird attitude about it. It turned me off for sure. The thing that made me mad is the dumb girl taking orders didn't warn us it was going to be so long! After we complained, as well as several other families, she finally started telling people it was going to be a wait. Get your stuff together! Either buy more equipment to cook faster or hire more staff. Ridiculous. Not to mention these things are way overpriced. This is just another thing that Utah County people flock to because they are followers. read more

Oh Waffle Love, what more can I say than "I Waffle Love Thee!" This was my first food truck experience, and I am a fan! The wait was moderate, based on the crowd, about 10 minutes after we ordered, we were enjoying the spoils of our waffle goodness. The portion was well sized, the price was ... well a little spendy I thought, but I am not an expert on the food truck experience. I had the loaded waffle, that had the special goodness inside, a fruit topping, and the whipped cream. Now, I am not even remotely a fan of whipped cream in general. I usually ask for the cream to be left off of ... well everything. I decided to give this a try and I am so glad I did. This whipped creme is legit! I mean legit legit. They whip it right there and it is just good. Let me pause for effect ... .... .... it is just good! It will have me back for more. There is a reason that this place has such long lines. It is worth the food truck wait!! read more

This was my third experience with waffle love. They make really tasty waffles and have some creative toppings. I've had hundreds of waffles in the past with nutella on them so I like to try different varieties. My favorite so far is the lemon curd. Happened to catch Waffle Love one rainy evening and the line only had about 3 people ahead of us. We got the ice cream waffle with nutella and strawberries and one with nutella, strawberries, banana, and whipped cream. We were waiting for about 10 minutes and realized that they had stopped calling out names of the customer whose order were complete. I went up by the pick up station and stood there while the they kept piling on the completed boxes. Never caught anyone's attention and finally had to just ask if my order is ready. They all gave me blank stares and had to have the cashier guy come over to give me my order, which has been sititing at the counter for quile a while. The ice cream melted and became a vanilla soup mess by the time we ate it. The other order was still good. The waffle texture was just perfect (slightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside) with just the right amount of nutella and fresh fruit. Some luxuries are worth the wait and money, I haven't quite decided if Waffle Love is worth it or not. read more

My 11-year-old loves Saturday's Waffles. I do, too. But the kid gets barraged by all of the Waffle Love social media marketing. It's been enough to make her want to check the place out. We haven't because it's generally a trek to get there. Olympus Hills Mall for Saturday's Waffle is far enough already. Turns out Waffle Love is adding a truck and planting it in Sandy. They were there in front of Vasa on 1300 East last Saturday so we decided to give it a go. I had some cinnamon bun themed number, she had a traditional with a huge dollop of whip cream on top. The menu wasn't nearly as sophisticated as Saturday's Waffle ("Sophisticated." "Waffle." Same sentence, super sardonic!) but they're not supposed to be clones. There is an ice cream option. That was way too close to diabetes, even for my kid! The waffle seemed like it had been cooked the night before and kept in a warming oven or zapped in a microwave shortly after I ordered it. Certainly not piping hot. It was definitely "tougher" than Saturday's is. Almost wished I had had a knife. The help was great. The truck not nearly as charming as Saturday's is. Seems like all I'm doing is comparing these two and I haven't even mentioned Belgium Waffle and Omelet Inn! Let me sum up my review: Waffle Love offers a punch card. Eat 10, the 11th is free. It's that kind of a place. No punch cards (that I know of) at Saturday's Waffle (again with the comparisons). Come to think of it, there are no punch cards at Belgium Waffle and Omelet Inn, either. read more

The waffles here are pretty darn good, but I feel like the toppings are not nearly as good as say other waffle trucks in SLC *cough cough Brugges* I had strawberries and creme and my husband got the raspberries and creme. The fruit on both looked like it was a few days old and a bit shriveled. The creme was a also a bit chunky and looked like it was starting to separate. Both times I have been to waffle love the line has taken soooo long. We had it once at a food truck rally and the line for another truck was 3 times as long and I waited in that line while my husband waited in the shorter waffle line and I still finished long before he did. When we did order our food the guy acted kind of snobby like it was a privilege for us to buy their waffles. Overall, I do not feel like this place is worth the wait or the price (which is also more than other waffle places), I do not share the love for Waffle Love. read more

Excellent waffles... Just the right amount of sweet and tang from the yeast. Perfectly crisp on he outside and chewy on the inside. Toppings are always fresh and top notch. There is lots of love in these waffles for sure! My only complaint is that they don't stay in my driveway! When ever they are within a 20 min drive I am there. Their Liege waffle recipe was expertly executed. They really understand what it takes to make an excellent waffle! The deep grooves of the waffle allows the Biscoff cookie spread to really seep in. The fresh strawberries and raspberries are a great addition to this decadent dessert. My biggest criticism is that they need more unique flavors and choices. Nutella, fresh fruits and plain whipped cream are all expected typical toppings for waffles. read more

I literally woke up craving waffle love. It's not something I get on a daily basis because paying $8-10 for a waffle seems a bit pricey but I do think that they are delicious so I'll get them when I really crave it! The reason why I am giving it 4 stars though is because of the long wait times. Every time I go purchase waffles even when there is no one in line the wait time is about 15-25 min + that's if I'm waiting at a restaurant and I'm trying to get a quick bite! Overall I think it's a delicious concept just work on wait time ! read more

My wife and I were driving home this afternoon were blessed by a local phenomenon. After a quick double-take, I conducted two possibly illegal and dangerous U-turns and pulled in to the parking lot of a random medical center where, at least for this fleeting few hours, a Waffle Love truck had decided to take up shop. Waffle Love, or @Waffluv if you prefer, owns three food trucks. One travels around Utah county, one in Salt Lake county, and one oddly enough in Arizona. They announce their locations for the day over their Facebook page every morning. Well, its a food truck... and it was REALLY cold. I have to give these guys some credit here. I had a great time. We talked about their business model and the menu. They were extremely friendly despite the long-ish line of people waiting for waffles. I asked them what I should order and they immediately pointed to the Red Wonder, the most expensive item on the menu. So, This isn't a lot of food for $8 bucks. It was, however, a really fun experience and I would probably enjoy another waffle or two from them among friends. The kind of waffle they make is called a Liege Waffle, which is made from a batter that seems to be high in butter content. The result is a scone-like fried waffle that is both crispy and flaky. The Red Wonder tops this with a gigantic glob of thick whipped cream covered in red berries. Underneath the pile of lost New Year's wishes is a layer of Biscoff, a spread made from English coffee biscuits. If you see a Waffle Love truck around town, you should treat it like the ice cream man and let your 10 year-old self run wild. read more

I saw the truck parked not very far from where I lived and I happened to be hungry so me and the dog walked over to check it out. I told the wife that I might be bringing a waffle back for lunch. I checked out the menu and couldn't find the words "maple syrup" anywhere on it. Just how much love can you give a waffle without butter and syrup? I asked the girl at the counter what I should try and she recommended the Red Wonder. I was thinking at that price, this thing had better be good as the dog and I walked back to our place with the waffle. I cut off a large piece to share with my wife and took my first ever bite of an $8 waffle. I made sure I had a piece with everything on it - waffle, whipped cream, a piece of strawberry and a raspberry. What happened next surprised me, I thought I heard angels singing! The waffle by itself was possibly the best waffle I've ever eaten in my life. The waffle, whipped cream, fresh strawberries and raspberries combination was absolutely wonderful and quite decadent. Is it expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? Yes. Do I recommend it? Absolutely! read more

My 2 adult sons and I went to the one in Midvale, UT and the young girl who took our order was very pleasant. We ordered, sat down. We were the only 3 there, then 2 more people arrived and ordered after us. My sons' orders were brought out and we were told the other one will be out in a minute. I'm glad I told them to go ahead and eat. The other 2 people received their order. We got the young boy's attention, asked where my order was, he looked like he had no clue what we were talking about, asked the girl at the register, then he decides to bring me one in a take out box that had been sitting on the counter this whole time. It was all stuck to the box so I asked if he could remake it since it'd been sitting there awhile and was stuck. He said "that's what happens, it sticks to the box." OK, but I didn't order it to be in a box. He remade it and brought me a child size, about half the size I ordered and paid for. I let that go and ate...after my sons had eaten. On top of messing up the order, which happens, but the way it was handled, by giving me one that had been sitting, then replacing it with a child size, he never apologized. I was visiting from out of state and this place was highly recommended. But, it won't be by me. read more

I've been wanting to give this food truck a try for a while. So I considered it Devine intervention when it was parked in Herriman (my home turf). The two were a little steep, $13 for two waffles. But when we got in the car and gave them a try..... WOWZA!!! They were crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, so so so good! Totally worth the $13. While it's not anything I'd eat everyday, it's certainly a delicious treat! read more

I love to find the waffle truck for these delicious waffles. You can find where they are on their website or go to their store in Provo. I order the strawberries and cream and sometimes I eat the strawberries and cream and then the waffle. The cream is made from scratch and is nice and sweet. The highlight is the waffle though.
