The waitress was delightful and took very good care of us.My wife I both had the senior breakfast mine with bacon, eggs, grits, & toast for under $5.00 each.. all items with real reasonable prices. We stopped here on our way through town in the wee hours of the morning. We were greeted by the sweetest and most cheerful young lady. The entire staff was in the best mood and it made me feel happy to be there. A Waffle House is a Waffle House - the menus are the same, food is about the same (not bad for a quick early morning "fueling"). This one was cleaner than most - but the cheerful vibe is what stood out in my mind and will make me consider stopping again if circumstances put me here. read more

Very Unprofessional. Ordered the all star breakfast. The gentleman that took my order I think was a supervisor of some sort but he did not ask which type of toast would I like , then I got my food and it was hot but o took it to go . Then I got work and was going to eat but I had no napkins, no silverware , the butter leaked onto my waffle , the syrup spilled all in the bag and on the try that had grits and scrambled eggs that I asked for but no jelly ; never asked me I what kind of jelly I would like nor did he ask if I would like something to drink ... it was after 3 am in the morning . There was a couple that just had ordered to eat their meal there but I got mine to go .. it was quiet besides the supervisor kept going to talk to a young girl just hanging out sitting in a booth. I wouldn't suggest this place at all!!! WORST SERVICE Ever and whatever you do if you or someone you know decides to stop and eat in or take it to go , be sure to check your bag for eating utensils, napkins and make sure any jelly, syrup or butter hasn't leaked or spilled over everything . VERY UNFriendly and not considerate of customers! If I could have I would have gotten my money back it definitely wasn't worth the $14.40 after tax for the all star special !!!! This is my second time visiting and trying to eat at this location. The staff is excellent, friendly, and attentive but the food, and getting your order right NOT SO MUCH! I asked for eggs fried hard, and they looked like someone just sneezed them out. Asked for the hashbrowns to be well with onions. Hash browns arrive looking like a freshly peeled potato with no onions. I send them back, and the cook flips over my hashbrowns and throws fried onions on top, calling it a day! Me an my 81 year old mom went to eat. They didn't seem to be that busy. Mom just had a hip replacement surgery. She just wanted to sit down at a table. ( table was a little messy and we knew that) . Any way we sit down and the hateful woman that calls herself a waitress made her get up and hobble back to front door and sit. Then on top of that mother was trying to get the waitress attention. She must have Been deaf !!! So mom barely touched her on the shoulder with her walking cane. That woman accused my mom of hitting her. The people in back saw it and by no means did my mom hit her. They ask us to leave and we did as they ask. Mom said sorry she didn't mean anything. If the waitress had of done her job to start with nothing would have happened. Somehow I've never made it to Waffle House. Tonight I remedied that shortsight. Hash browns scattered? Yes, please. Sitting, waiting at the counter in a Waffle House after dark with a steady rain, across from a couple regulars with "What's New Pussycat" playing on the jukebox, in the middle of Alabama...sounds like a perfect setting for my first time here. The hash browns? Delicious. The service? Running from side to side of the place, taking care of all the customers, solid. The cook? Dancing from one spot on the grill making orders. First when I enter and sit. The waitress came to the table was rude and obnoxious. The table was half wipes off and the silverware was absolutely nasty. I ask for a cup of hot water to put my silverware in and she replied very rude And after receiving my food they put it all on one plate. Not one time my waitress come back to the table after bringing my food. Her name is Peggy. Do not sit where she working. She never brought my check to the table and the big guy that was cashing me out replied with a rude attitude. I will never patronize this business again. read more

We just ate here. The food was what you would expect for a Waffle House- great waffle and hash browns, not so great bacon. However, the staff were awesome! Tank was so good with our toddler and brought her a hat, then one for Mommy and Daddy. They all interacted with her and helped her feel comfortable and enjoy her time. I am a big fan of Waffle House and this location is no different. Hot freshly made to order breakfast that is at your table in a matter of minutes. You can't beat the All Star breakfast. This location is clean and the staff friendly. The jukebox is ready to play and the bathrooms are clean and updated. The only reason for 4 stars is the lack of raisin bread. I always order raisin bread and I never get it. For some reason raisin bread gets lost or forgotten. read more

Staff was inattentive. Never had anyone come back to my table to check on me or refill coffee. Young cook was acting like a 12 year old. Manager and cook were playing around with eggs and dropped one on the floor. Only 2-3 of the staff seemed to be paying any attention to customers. There were 8 employees and only 7 customers. Waited for someone to give me my bill and finally one of employees who was not working my end of the restaurant noticed I was waiting and came down to my end to give me a check. Manager was present and was as guilty if acting like a bunch of elementary school children as the others. Food was good, typical of Waffle House but service was bad, majority of staff need to be in Daycare. read more

I Have worked at this Waffle House for 3 years been threw a lot of cooks,servers, and managers but the true employees have been there over 10 years working hard! When it comes down to pulling together and helping each other (Jaquana, trish, jasmine, Dante, Mrs Dee (when she was with us) Mama Regina, Darrius Chelle bell! These are the most caring and loving people u can ever work with ! They work as a team and a family and work hard! I will be transferring to another store cause I have to move and it pains me that I have to leave my work family have grown to love and who has supported me over the three years. I just want everyone to know that reads this, this store is the cleanest one in this town these ladies work hard to clean and sanitize everything every day! I eat at this location often and I will say over the last year I have seen an improvement in service, I think due to having more servers on the floor than they use to have. (labor always a cost center on the P&L). I was a unit manager for Waffle House 20 years ago in Marietta, GA. I got to meet Joe Rodgers Sr. the founder while at Waffle U in Atlanta. I give them 4 stars for my experience today however, the grits were runny (too much water) and not warm. That's one of things that makes WH. Come on people! Not a good idea to go to Waffle House if u r one person wanting breakfast and particularly COFFEE quickly between 6 & 7AM. Night shift is tired & worn out & usually at least one person is late on new shift coming in. Waited for 10 minutes for first cup of coffee and did not get refill until I asked for it. Never got more cream and decided not to ask for it. There was a time when servers would fill coffee for all customers. No longer. 3 people going by over and over. Coffee cup up on napkin holder for refill in booth right by register. Totally ignored! I guess it is just a sign of the times! read more
