Waffle House has developed into a cultural icon. Part of their fame is that they are so prominent along Interstate highways in the South. If you're from the east coast think: 24 hour dinner with a fast food feel. If you're from the west in a gaming town think: casino coffee shop. This started my road tripping meals in the South. It wasn't huge....a few booths and some counter seating. Food is cooked right in front of you. This location was clean and the service was NICE! Our server was new and he had a lot of questions to make sure our order was done right. I had two eggs over easy (referred to as over light in the south), hashbrowns crispy (there are tons of add ons for hashbrowns but more on that in another review), bacon and a biscuit. Eggs done perfectly. Bacon was beyond cripsy. Bonus points to our server for asking if I would like lemon in my tea -- WARNING to those not from the south...tea is SWEET unless otherwise requested so remember to say UNSWEETENED or you're in for a mouth of sugar. Traditionally, they do not except bills over a $20 but they were kind enough to go to the back and brake a $100 for me. Bring small bills as not all Waffle houses will brake large bills. read more

The cook gets upset at customers when he has to make food. I've been there on several occasions and I hear things like, "Oh, come on, it's Sunday night" said roght in front of customers. Other staff are friendly and helpful but complacent, as they hear and see this as well. read more

You can potentially miss it as you're driving by because there a much of trees on either side of this location. While of course the menu is pretty standard, I was particularly grateful for the service from our server and even saw the chef himself separate the egg whites from the eggs (which takes a bit more time than have a carton or egg whites). My family and I ate here for the first time and it was great. Jeannie, our waitress said she has been with the company for 13 years and she was amazing. She was sweet, funny and took care of us. The food was good and tastes just like any other Waffle House. The other staff seemed nice as well and were enjoying talking to the other customers. The building was clean and parking was easy. Food was terrible hash brown was over cooked, eggs were not cooked. Country ham was missing and no flavor with none of the food

Went on a Sunday morning and it was pretty busy. They seemed short handed which is expected in today's economy. We were sat promptly at the bar which was nice. However we were disgusted with the cooks. Not once did they change their gloves the entire time even after handling raw meat and raw eggs. These guys would literally touch everything including the cooked food on the plates. They had boxes of gloves right in front of them but weren't using them. It made it hard for us to enjoy our visit and we didn't finish our meals because we were afraid of getting food poison. I loved the waffles and the service is great one small problem is it's understaffed on most nights the Hash browns are good (get extra hash browns if you're with someone who want hash browns get extra hash browns if you're getting a all star and spilt it with them it only 50$ cents compared to the 1.25$ for the same amount of food ) read more

Very poor service, food, and venue. It's a clean-your-own table and silverware situation. Waitresses were in no hurry to serve us. No one uses gloves in the kitchen. I'm fairly certain our waitress touched my food as she brought it. Waitresses were boisterous and excessively noisy. Prices were higher than the last time we'd been there. Also, they don't serve hot chocolate anymore. In December. No hot chocolate. Grits tasted like they used dishwater. They were grey. The waffle I got was soft and listless. No taste. Eggs were light and unseasoned. Coffee was cold. Even the "new" pot of coffee... Update: I got food poisoning and threw up 10 hours after consuming the pitiful food offered here. I been going to this WH for years. But I am done. Since Covid they stopped answering the phones so you have to go there to place the order. I get short staff and all that. But the past 4 times I got a to go order something was missing. 2 times is bacon, once it was chili and every time it's been jalapeños. I get an occasional ooops but this is ridiculous. Worst waffle house EVER!!! We eat at waffle houses all over the country and usually receive excellent service and standard food..This location was filthy!! Sticky tables, menus even the check was stuck to the napkin holder she placed it on....Ridiculous couldn't wait to leave...Employees sitting around laughing SO loud couldn't enjoy our sub standard food...Also the temperature was freezing inside and they were mopping around our table laughing about slipping and collecting works compensation.... read more

Been to this Waffle House twice now and will NEVER return. Each time the waiter/waitress took a very long time to take drink order (almost 30 minutes) when they were not busy and stated that they had new employees... Okay I understand that is difficult but this was me going to this Waffle House months apart and they still didn't have their stuff together. Tables extremely dirty. Entire restaurant a huge mess like I'm talking filthy. The cooking station was NASTY. We had family from out of town visiting us that we took to eat here and I was so embarrassed with how terrible everything was. We have always loved other Waffle House locations but this one has serious issues. My coffee cup was dirty, dishes, table and etc; I felt sick while eating here and afterwards. This place feels like you're walking through the pearly gates itself! That is if you are walking in at 4 AM after a long night out, the greasefilled food hits the perfect spot and the waitresses don't seem too mind you attempting to serenade them until your chariot you summond through uber arrives.
