Waffle House is a fall back staple for John and me when traveling, especially on time crunch days. We stopped in for breakfast on our day departing North Carolina for a quick, easy bite. Scattered, smothered, covered, chunked and capped for me. John is minus the capped- aka mushrooms. And he always wants a waffle, even though he didn't finish it. Service is fast- especially when you know what you want. The order gets called out to the cook and we're off. We were in and out in 30 minutes!

the little napkins high on the coffee pot it's brewing says that's the dark roast that I like so the brews don't get confused

#18-2021 like any other Waffle House the menu is standard Fair it looks like any other Waffle House for the most part. I've stopped here many times because it's located right next to a little truck stop where there's plenty of parking most of the time. food is always been very good the quality of the food is always been very good for the most part. the only thing I find a little sketchy sometimes is a service that always prompt sometimes they have to wait a little longer than some other places. this isn't one that when you walk in they greet you either a whole lot a lot of places yell out welcome to the waffle house but this one you don't quite get all the time but it is what it is. I came in today it was fairly crowded but there wasn't too much going on as far as the waiting for the booth or anything. I did finish my meal but my waitress hadn't really filled my coffee too much and I was waiting around and one of the supervisor said am I going to be leaving soon? I said I'd like to have another coffee so they finally brought some more and I said if they would have checked on me a little more it would have been a little better but it's okay. do a good job of cleaning off the tables and sanitizing which is a plus. had one of my usual breakfasts; waffle, double hash brown in the ring sugar-free syrup and sausage patties and it was prepared very well and tasted good. I overlook those little small things and I just give it a straight three stars across the board. nothing above average nothing below average. they only let down though left feeling like I was being rushed.

Terrible service due to extremely poor attitude of our server. Food was cold due to her delaying delivering to our table.

Gave up on a clean spoon and fork. Grits in the tea is an extra treet. So just make sure you look before you eat.

Sort of reminded me of an old diner that had be renovated to a clean upscale vibe. We ordered the steak kabobs and they were mouthwatering with flavor. My fiancee got an old fashioned and I got a rabbits foot, one of their craft gin cocktails. It was AMAZING, the gentleman's ice cube I believe was made with lavender so as it melted, your drink was even more flavorful and not watered down. He ordered the shiny duck and I the beef fillet and mashed potato. Both were also delicious, this is a farm to table spot so you know it's fresh. One thing which I didn't minus a star for was considering the price point I would think they would offer a vegetable with your meal. Few spears of broccolini or asparagus or carrots, just to make it feel a little more well-rounded of a plate. The were out of a few items being a busy day/night but we didn't mind. We will try them next go around. Our server Erin was just epic, great sense of humor and very attentive! We will be back again and make sure to sit in her section. Cheers to supporting local non chain restaurants!

We had mussels which were excellent and then split a short rib entrée, which was also great. This a very small restaurant but everything was fantastic.

I wandered into Main Street Bar & Eatery for what was supposed to be a "quick bite between quotes." Instead, I became spiritually welded to a barstool while the TV blasted a man in flannel yeeting a chainsaw like it owed him money. And the fried pickles. Good grief. Those things ambushed me. One minute I'm thinking "I'll just have a snack," and the next I'm waist-deep in a basket of fried circles of temptation, crunching my way into oblivion while pretending to "work." My laptop was open, sure, but let's not lie to ourselves -- I got absolutely nothing done. I was too busy yelling advice at professional lumberjacks like I'd trained for this moment my whole life. Tim the Suitcase Regular Rating Breakdown: * Atmosphere: Cozy but with the unpredictable energy of a log-rolling final * Food: Fried pickles that could ruin a man's productivity in the best possible way * Service: Friendly, fast, and kindly nonjudgmental of whatever fever dream I was living in * Entertainment: 10/10 involuntary lumberjack immersion If you're looking for a place where you can lose an entire afternoon under the noble banner of "I swear I'm still working", Main Street Bar & Eatery is the arena. However, my plans changed when I saw the menu. Instead I tried a Wagyu burger. They have five different Wagyu burgers and I settle on the one closest to a cheeseburger. It had been a long time since I had one and I was way overdue. It was delicious. For my side I tried the collard greens. They offer five different sauces to spike the collards with, but I chose to eat them with the way they came out of the kitchen - a vinegar-based splash of heat. I could've eaten a bowl of them, they too were delicious. It was a bit after lunch so it wasn't very busy. The bartender was knowledgeable about the menu, sides, entrees, apps, and sauces which helped with making my decisions prompt. The front of house is setup to handle families and groups of friends with booths and 6-top tables, however the place may fill up fast. Based on the amount of missing merch, many folks try and like and appreciate this place. Parking could be tricky, but there's more public parking on the streets than most towns I've visited, so be patient looking for on-street parking and if necessary one could use the parking garage close to the cordoned-off block where some great food on this block lives. Enjoy!

This was my first trip to South Carolina and the first stop was Southern Manners - it did not disappoint! We had a huge group of ladies to celebrate our bride and the staff were all fabulous - big shout out to our cashier/server, Jaden! He was amazing and so accommodating with our 19 top. The ordering was as smooth as it could be and Jaden made sure to go around asking any questions he had about the orders. The food came out relatively quick considering how many people we had and I really appreciate the staff. The pricing was very reasonable and i would recommend if you're looking for a real home-y feeling restaurant with good food! In regards to ordering, we had special accommodations because we were a big group, but normal flow has customers ordering and paying when they walk in the door and then the food is brought to your table. It has a fast food vibe, but I didn't mind it! The line moved pretty quick while we were there. Can't wait to go back!
