I blacked out somewhere between 2:33 and 2:55 a.m., but the waitress said I was "holding my own" and "taking it to that MF'er's ass." What a great restaurant! My husband and I got caught in an infamous Houston downpour last week. We had just worked out and decided to pull over to wait out the rain. I pulled into Waffle House. Front row parking. Immediately greeted and given coffee. It was great. Delicious flavor. We drink it plain and enjoyed it thoroughly. Even received a cup to go! I ordered a breakfast bowl with hash browns and sausage. Very filling. Good flavors. Made fresh! The pecan waffle is amazing with sugar free syrup. I want to go back soon! read more

In my experience, Waffle Houses are Waffle Houses. They do a great job in making sure customer experiences are consistent no matter the location. Service is always good but service with a smile is hit or miss. This particular location has a stand out crew. They stayed open and worked their butts off through Hurricane Harvey! My area was fortunate in that we were hardly affected by the storm and found ourselves going stir crazy from being couped up in the house. After 2 days, we ventured out and found this location open. I appreciated those that were able to come to work and did. They certainly had cause to stay home. I LOVE the bowls. So delish. Can't decide between them and the Pecan waffles so I have both. Don't mean to play the race card but we were waited on by an older African American lady and she was not polite at all. Shortly after being seated we asked if we could move because it was really cold that day and were sitting directly under the vents. Her response was mmhhmm not a yes no problem or sure! Then when she moved us we thanked her and she walked away without saying a word. She brought our food and we had to ask for condiments and said please and thank you again, and she just walked away. A few minutes later an African American couple came in to order to go and our waitress took their order and was all smiles and and very polite to them! We felt discriminated or she must have not liked us Even though she was being blah we left her a nice tip and as my husband payed he said thank you and again she said mhhhm! Waffle House has always been my favorite breakfast joint due to their hash-browns. It's just for the longest time there were only a few in Houston and far from me. No idea what Liza is complaining about. I've been here at least five times sporadically since it's been open- it's a wait majority of the time because the food is good AND cheap, duh. If you don't want to wait, don't be late during the morning LOL. I normally go in the evenings, (it's always time for breakfast in my book) and the service is always friendly and quick. It's a bit of a drive for me, but defiantly worth it. Watching the cooks during the busy times is entertaining. read more

I really hate going here. The food is good, as all Waffle House food is. But I always feel so out of place here. All the customers and employees just seem angry and hateful. It doesn't matter if it's at night or in the morning. It's the same mean-grumpy attitude in this place. People stair and roll their eyes at each other. This is the only restaurant in the area that just seems to attract the area's "Hangriest" biggots. The waitresses always remind me of these super pissed off old cafeteria ladies. Maybe it is because this is a 24hr restaurant and the workers are working long/late shifts. Even the cooks cringe when customers walk in. Our waitress Jordan had a bad attitude when we walked through the door to the dirty floors and politely asked if someone could clean them. I asked for water to drink and got it only after two more tables were served and she asked my son if he wanted a refill on his apple juice. Oh the apple juice a large is two of the 6 oz Minute Maid Apple Juice drinks for $2.20 she put two in a cup while her fingers and the second container was placed in the juice that was already in the cup. Got my grits and wrinkled plastic was in it lets me know it was cooked in there. My bacon was burnt. Jordan never apologized for forgetting my water not having the plastic in my grits. I never got a refill of water after finally receiving it nor did she once if everything was ok or if we needed anything else. We will go back I'm hoping she's new and this was just a one time mishap!! read more

This is, by far, my family's favorite WH location. Wait staff is always friendly, service is quick, and food tastes great!

Super fast service and the food was good! I ordered the All Star breakfast with a pecan waffle and it was delicious!

We eat here on occasion. My kids love breakfast for dinner so we will come in the morning or at dinner time. It's a newer location that opened in 2012, so it's still pretty nice and clean. The service we get is usually pretty good and the food taste good for a greasy spoon kind of breakfast! We typically get waffles, eggs, grits and raisin toast. Their grits are by far the best I've had. It would be nice to have some fresh fruit options to go along with breakfast. Our family recommends it. read more

Non of the wait staff wasn't wearing gloves and touching hair/face then touching food with their bare hands right in front of everyone and had no concern. Great place to get a quick breakfast. My friends and I go over here to get a lot of food for a good price. Staff is always overall pretty friendly. Waffles are awesome. The only complaint I would have is that this place is small, and it gets packed pretty quickly on Saturday mornings. They only have 5 tables, but bar seats are good. Food was yummy but the attitudes of the other employees (aside from my waitress who looked Hispanic and was pregnant) was poor. I understand if your having a bad day or just frustrated with life but there is absolutely no need to express it verbally to the entire restaurant by speaking loudly. My entire meal was taken place around watching employees act a fool by "so called accidentally" wetting a regular customer and the floor with the sink hose. Instead of apologizing they giggled. Who does that in an establishment where we, the customers, are PAYING OUR MONEY!?? The words coming out of the employees mouths like "I'm gonna kill him" or "I can't stab you with a spoon" were high school conversations all over again. Ridiculous. I believe the manager holds a more friendly relationship with his employees than what needs to be considering its a WORK ESTABLISHMENT. I also understand Waffle House caters to a lot of regulars however as an employee or manager, one cannot assume EVERYDAY IS REGULAR CUSTOMER DAY! I am not and now never will be a regular customer. Rude staff, they never wear gloves and I never see them clean their hands before preparing meals. The overnight staff is unknowledgeable about coupons given from corporate. One particular visit I came in to order to go, I have social anxiety disorder which means I can't eat in front of people, it makes me very uncomfortable. The coupons they give you is for dine in only, I wanted to take mine to go, the waitress Amanda was unprofessional in telling the the cook (PB) my dilemma, he came over with an attitude stating, you need to dine in to use this coupon. I states ok, i was just gonna eat a little but my anxiety kicked in and I became uncomfortable at the thought of eating in front of people. I told the waitress that I didn't want the food and she yelled it to the cook. He began to get irate saying you need to leave my restaurant, I will not cook for you. He threw the food away and said get out of my restaurant. Idk where they find people to be in charge of a shift, they were totally unprofessional and I definitely will not be returning. Management needs to understand just because you promote someone doesn't mean they are capable of being a manager and handling customer complaints in a professional manner. PB needs more training interacting with customers...I wonder how many other customers have dealt with his nasty attitude. read more
