We eat here often. It is one thing to have a place so cold you're uncomfortable. It's another thing to have slow incompetent help. The cooks are AMAZING!! the food comes as ordered. They redeem this place. But PLEASE, warm this place up a bit and take a hard look at the efficiency of the waitress. read more

Clean with friendly service on a Friday at 8:30 am. The cook did a nice job with flavor and presentation.

The food and service were horrendous... Ordered a "steak and eggs breakfast". I got my piece of 1/4" thick scrap gristle sirloin - "oh we're out of 57 sauce". 10 minutes later, after I'd picked through the meat, I got my partially scrambled eggs and scattered and covered (I ordered scattered and smothered) soggy hash browns. I waited for another 10 min after that, wanting another coke and maybe a couple jelly packs (they give you only 1) so I could at least feel somewhat full, but the pierced up tomboy waitress was out back smoking something. Avoid this location...nasty food and filthy throughout. read more

They were very rude and unprofessional! My food was given to another customer and thus I had to wait another 5-7 minutes for another meal to be prepared. Then when I asked for my order to go because it was freezing in there they billed me another$1.90 for to go containers. When I asked to speak to the Manager, Andrew, he said mistakes happen and I just had to wait for my food and he offered NO Apologies and did nothing to make it right. Awful PR and customer service! One comment to corporate: I paid 10$ for one fried egg, a piece of city ham, and a milk. If you inflate the price of the giant waffle to where the common man can no more, all you will have is ONE giant waffle you are left alone to eat in a corner ALONE with no more waffles for you either. That was a kids meal price The place was sparse. Check yourselves before you're eating waffles alone facing the corner and no one will speak to you anymore. I'm the type person when I receive bad service and low quality food I just don't go back for a few months, to give the place a chance to get their staff straightened out. Over a DECADE ago I had really bad service here and have had zero desire to come back. You can drive by all hours and there are only, on average, two cars in the lot, not a good sign. The air conditioning at the Huddle House has been on the fritz and the owners won't fix it, so we stopped in at the Awful House. I'm not sure how it's possible, but it was a worse experience than the last one so many years ago. Only one customer in there and he was reading a book the size of an old family bible. The waitress brought the tea and it was spoiled. You have to try pretty hard to let a batch of sweet tea go bad on you, but this place managed to. She exchanged it for a Coke, and she brought another glass of tea to "try this because I just made it", it was drinkable. The food was horrendous on a scale I had not experienced in a while...probably since we stopped in at the Slug Burger Cafe. The eggs were brown and not in the way of 'organic brown egg-laying chicken eggs', but more of an over cooked and scorched to a brown rubbery tasteless egg. The bacon was paper thin and cooked beyond done. It was brittle and fragile like threads of sugar candy. I can't even convey the magnitude of disgusting when describing the grits. Usually, when ordering grits, you receive a glob of white tasteless paste that takes a lot of salt, pepper and butter to make them palatable. This batch may very well have been spoiled, like the tea. The second it touched my tongue, a gag reflex forced me to spit it out, hence possibly saving me from an agonizing future appointment with a toilet. The hamburger is just a preformed patty. She asked if I wanted onion. I said yes. Well, it came with bits of burnt onion, not raw, which is what I pictured when asked if I want onion on a burger. The burger was tasteless but it filled the void in my stomach. Looking back, maybe the previous visit so long ago wasn't that bad after all. Then again, that day the food was served cold, we were brought the wrong food, my scrambled eggs were just fried with a still runny yolk that they diced up for me. We left that day without eating or paying and I gave a semi-lengthy seminar to the self-taught cook/manager that day, on the proper way to scramble an egg, as well as, the differences in taste and texture of the eggs when prepared in various manners. Like Sonic, most nationally franchised restaurants don't need much in the way of reviews it seems to me. Waffle House deserves some special mention for several reasons. The Waffle House in Corinth occupies the same building and pretty much the same setup as the Omelet House which was formerly located in the same building for many years. The Omelet House was owned and operated by relatives of a quite large and successful political family in Alcorn County and it was known as a location for political talk which was often in the air there, particularly at the big table in the back corner as local politicians frequented the restaurant most often on Saturday mornings. Waffle House is a good spot for breakfast, fast service- biggest virtue is that they are open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. This serves a big need in the community. When I was growing up in Corinth in the mid 20th century, there was only one place in the entire county where you could get something to eat 7 days a week, 24 hours a day- Charlie's Truck Stop. Charlie's Truck Stop is still there, but with a convenience store only, a sad commentary on its place in local dining history. The Waffle House chain is based in Atlanta but it's roots reach nearby. One of the co-founders got his start with the Toddle House chain founded in Memphis, which I remember well, and the Waffle House "smothered and covered" hash browns can be directly traced to that Memphis breakfast diner chain. When I owned a business in Atlanta, I ate at Waffle House's often throughout Georgia and they were always consistently good. The Waffle House located to Corinth only a few years ago and I was initially disappointed when dining there soon after it opened. Apparently the training and personnel selection process takes a while. After a year or so, I was well pleased to see the Corinth restaurant met Waffle House standards and can be highly recommended. My personal favorite meal is their omelet, light and airy- ham and cheese specifically. Hash browns are a standard side which I prefer plain, well done and crispy. While the specialty of the house is waffles, for which the chain is named, I've always felt their waffles could stand much improvement. Raisin toast is the optional bread of choice, a perfect match to the apple butter with which it is served. read more

The Waffle House is Corinth is disgusting. Food is okay, but the ambiance is TERRIBLE! Last time I went, there was a huge water puddle inside the door. The tables were sticky and covered in stuff from the previous customer. The service was also bad. Tried this favorite spot 5 times cause I like to give business to keep them open everyone else is closed. Cook not around every time and waitress trying to do and can't all 4 times! Food terrible and didn't use correct ingredients. Last time I went cook come out with a bag of ham used his own knife off his hip to stab several holes in it to squeeze the juice out, what else he use that pig sticker on right? Gross! I give this a 2 star rating because I normally love the Waffle House, but this particular Waffle House was not up to par. One would think, being in a small little town, such as Corinth, they would have small town tasting food. Not the case here. It was sloppy, messy and overly greasy. It is right off of the highway, so maybe the consistency of outta towners, keeps the small town quality a little under par..? I trying here Mr. Waffle, I really am. Honestly, I have no more to say on this particular place. Most of my followers will probably never cross this place, but you never know... Use to be a great place to go and sit with friends and drink coffee the last few times I've been in it's been between 3 and 7 pm servers were just terrible Mr Will was the nicest person there he bust his butt to make everything right really don't know what's happened to this place employees can ruin the environment and have ruined this place during 2nd shift I'm going up tomorrow night during 3rd shift and see if it's gotten any better it use to be ok to but we will see read more

I have a pretty lengthy list of allergies and eating out is a challenge. I was in Corinth last week and spent the week navigating terrible service resulted from my special requests. Not at this Waffle House. They were kind, understanding, the server repeated my allergies to the chef, and the overall service was awesome. I overheard another server being coached and trained, and as a professional trainer and someone that trains trainers, I was impressed. It was clear that this team works well together and takes great care of their guests. Skip the CB across the street; you'll get better service and food at this gem of Corinth. Thanks!!! read more

Today we stopped in for breakfast. The staff was HORRIBLE!!!! They were were all mad and aggravated. I won't name names in this review but I will be calling the Corporate Office. The wait staff was calling orders and the cook was slamming pans. They got most of the orders wrong as we were at the counter witnessing everything. One of the wait staff members was slamming dishes as she washed them. One of coworkers asked if she was slamming the dishes and she had the audacity to say no. I couldn't determine who the manager was but shame on them all for the behavior they exhibited!!!! Most Waggle Houses meet you with a smile, great service and good food. Very good service, and better yet good food. However the lady's room had no toilet paper. But Theresa made a fresh pot of stronger coffee when I stated the other was very weak. One more thing some of the employees teenage children kinda of just hang out at the main counter, but they would go outside if more customers came in. Still good food. read more

Have tried 3 times at this place all three times. YUK.. I thought the first time was just a fluke, they did not have gravy, bisquits or waffles available at 8am in the morning. I thought well maybe waiting for delivery. no problem. 2nd visit, staff fighting, our waiter was not allowed to call out our order for over 10 minutes as we sat their watching the temporary manager/cook had a problem with our waiter. ok stuff happens. 3rd and final visit 4 staff members and manager (5) as well as some sort of employee sitting at the bar. There was one other table of 3 people already eating when we sat down. Our order taken however, when we received our order it came out one plate at a time, the waffle came out after we had eaten even though we asked 3 times where was it. We recently returned from Myrtle beach South Carolina and we ate at Waffle house one day and the experience was excellent. Additionally, we have eaten at Waffle House in Jackson Tn, Oklahoma and several other ones when we travel without issue. Someone needs to be a manager at Corinth MS. read more

I have had better! hit and miss for sure. people were not friendly. Our waitress keep forgetting parts of our order. so we didn't get to eat it all at once in came in bits and pieces.
