Wow! Those biscuits were the absolute best biscuits I've ever had in my life and that's saying something because I'm from the south! The service was amazing! Our server was so sweet and we felt so welcome. I wish our Cracker Barrel back home was like this one. We always stop here when we are in Corinth. I got the Old Timer's breakfast but my daughter got the French toast and turkey sausage. Our CB back home always tries to give her pork when she orders the turkey sausage. Arrived around 10:00 am and seated immediately. Waitress took our drink order giving us time to look over the menu. Delivering a hot basket of biscuits which were hot and fluffy. I ordered the mamma breakfast, Two eggs, bacon and two pancakes. Everything cooked to perfection. My husband ordered the grandma's sampler. Same as mamma but you get 3 pancakes and a side. For his side he ordered hash brown casserole. It was tasty however could have been cooked longer. Thankfully they did not change the decor. Service was great and the waitress was so sweet. I went in with my family of 6 this evening and we all left disappointed. I'm an Area Manager over several restaurants and the over all experience is not one worth the $100 we spent. My children were very excited to get something from the store side but after our experience I decided we would not be spending another dime there. They were out of everything my family asked for. 5 different items. I can understand being busy and getting A truck in the near future as it is the end of the week. However, being out of one thing is unacceptable let alone everything we asked for. We also ordered my 4 year old a kids chicken tender and were brought an adult size Chicken plate. I asked our server if it was a kids and she looked at it and said no it wasn't a kids. After we received our $100 bill for items we just settled with I noticed we were charged for the adult chicken. I explained to the lady at the front what happened and she summoned the manager to come correct it. The manager never came. The manager never came... I left very upset with the whole situation because again, I know what it takes to run multiple restaurants and they're having a very hard time only running one. I have never left a review because I know how detrimental it came be to an establishment. The nonchalant attitude about being out of their hands and lack of professionalism from the manager is why I'm writing the review. I for one would personally ask this manager why it was ok to leave a customer as if they didn't matter. My managers wouldn't run my restaurants if they conducted business the way they did today. read more

What an awful experience. We were seated right away as they were not at all busy. The server took our drink order and my husband ordered a half and half iced tea and lemonade. He was brought a full glass of each. After correcting that, the server took our order. 35 minutes later, we still did not have our salads (or anything else), nor had our server returned. I asked another server to check on our food and then heard her and another servicer talking about our ticket. That made me wonder if our order had ever been turned in, but our server finally showed up. She had just the entrees and no salads. But my food was a completely different item than what I had ordered (herb chicken). She started to hand my husband his food but we told her we wanted our food at the same time. She walked away and I went and found the manager. I explained what was going on and she looked into it. It turned out that they were out of the chicken I had ordered so I switched to the chicken and rice. Our salads came right out with the bread, but we still had to wait for our entrees. When they finally came out, they were lukewarm at best and the rice was undercooked; it was still hard. The manager "took care" of the bill. Good thing, too. She kept calling me "Sis" and I wanted to point out that she is not my sister, but I refrained. We ate what we could and left. Inexcusably terrible service and food. read more

Hard to be on a diet when stopping by a place with a huge country breakfast. I opted to stick with my diet and order toast and two eggs. My husband ordered a country breakfast that included Grits, biscuits and gravy, fried apples (tasted like pie filling), fried eggs and bacon. Of course, I had to try a biscuit and a bite of apple and grits. After all, it has no calories if it's from someone else's plate. The red headed woman brings us silverware and takes our order and she drops off straws.Another couple are seated behind us, who she knows, and so she greets them. She finishes serving the large group of locals and we wait. We finish our coffee but we still don't have any water that we asked for. About 20 - 25 minutes goes by. The couple behind us, who arrived after we had ordered, finally gets their food but nothing for us. I ask for the check. A look of total surprise crosses her face. After 40 mins we get up to go pay. I present the check to old lady taking the money and she tells me that the waitress is the only person who can remove items I never received from my check. We wait, and then we wait some more. The loud argument between the idiot server and the manageress sees them blaming me for leaving. Lies and accusations are flying. Great way to treat customers. For some reason, my mom just loves Cracker Barrell. There is only one in MN. This was across the street from our hotel. We shopped a little, and I looked at the menu. The hostess tells a guy in suspenders that there will be a long wait on take out orders and basically not doing take out orders. This guy whom I assume was a manager, asked if we are finding everything, etc. I tell him we want to order a salad to go, but the hostess tells the guy in suspenders there's a waiting list to do takeout. This did not sit well with this take charge manager. He must have gone into the kitchen. He then took guy in suspenders order and my salad order. We go to pay, and Cracker Barrell started a rewards program. We could get a free app. We got some tator tot potato app for free. I bought the coconut candy that has strawberry, chocolate and vanilla like Brachs had in the 1970-80s. Also found maple butter pretzels. My family likes Cracker Barrel food so I'm never surprised when the food is good. The service here at the Corinth Cracker Barrel was what was outstanding. My dad and I ordered a large to go order. Ordering over the phone was actually a delight with the friendly and helpful service we received. When we got there, three ladies hustled to get us every single thing we could want or need. I can remember when you went to Cracker Barrel because their breakfast was so much better then the breakfast you could make at home. We'll, not any more. Once again another American icon has lost all the quality that made it one of the best. The biscuits have shrunk. The eggs are not the same. The bacon is worse that what you can buy at the store. And since when are grits clumpy? The bowl was on fire but the grits were cold and clumpy. Sent them back for a fresh bowl but it came back in the same bowl with the same clumpy grits... just hotter. The bowl not the grits. Now, what I'm about to say is not for affect. The ham? Had a tinge of "purina" to it. Puppy version. It was ham, mind you just with a slight dog food flavor. And it was the best thing on the plate. Oh, and they were out of chicken and out of Mac&Cheese. 2024 will end in a few months but our favorite restaurants, it seems, have already given up on the year. Now, excuse me... We have tried the online reservation process twice in the last month. When we arrived both times, our names were not in the system and had to wait 45 mins once and 20 mins the next. We arrived at 6pm and waited way over 30 minutes for our food on 7/26/2020. Most of it was cold. Biscuits were burnt and only 3 were brought out to our party of 6. We had to ask for jam. Mashed potatoes were cold and like bricks. Country fried steak was dry as dust and not enough gravy. No soda refills were offered. A table of 6 who ordered after our group, received all of their food before we did. They were out of pot roast and sweet potatoes. Also, a long hair was found in my daughter's butter on top of her pancakes. I've dined at this particular restaurant about a month ago and it wasn't much better then. Been several times past couple of weeks and the food was cold but okay. Seating is usually fast and food arrived quick. I say it's sitting precooked is the problem. Best service we have experienced in a Cracker Barrel in years. Everyone was friendly, helpful and eager to wait on the customers. Food was good, but my compliments go to the staff of this facility. Everyone in the area must be aware of this service, because on a weekday and at 10:30 am, the people were constantly coming in to eat. I sat by the window watching all of the families walking in. The staff was well organized, friendly and there to meet the people, seat them and wait on them. For the last few months the Corinth MS location has been beyond belief! Either they are out off things like straws or like tonight on the dumplin' special night they were out of dumplings, biscuits and jelly! They didn't bring knives so we couldn't even cut our chicken breast. Other diners told us they got no silverware at all. We don't know what else. It's unbelievable that this location is evidently managed so poorly that they can barely serve a meal. I feel sorry for the servers who have to deal with this type of issue. I've read all the negative reviews but I certainly give them 5 s. I travel on my job a lot eating at a Cracker Barrel every chance I get and this restaurant was right up there with the other ones I've ate at.
