Update: so I come back 8 months later I had to look up the review to find this location again and the waiter ask me "hey are you the same guy that came in 8 months ago?" I'm shook like how did you know exactly 8 months ago which was my first and only time lol. Food was delicious as always read more

Unfortunately, this visit was extremely disappointing, especially because my family and I have been regular customers whenever we are in town. I ordered my usual meal: scrambled eggs with cheese, onions, and jalapeños; hash browns with the same toppings; and a waffle. When my waffle arrived, I immediately noticed what appeared to be a hair cooked into the center of it. I brought it to Robert's attention, and he apologized and promptly removed the waffle. Shortly afterward, as I was preparing to eat my hash browns, I noticed what appeared to be additional small hairs in them as well. At that point, I completely lost my appetite and became concerned enough to check my children's meals too. I asked Robert to remove my food. What disappointed me most was not simply finding hair in the food--mistakes can happen in any restaurant. It was how the situation appeared to be handled afterward. I noticed that the cook I believed had prepared the food was not wearing a hair restraint, and after Robert informed him of the issue, I did not see any acknowledgment or effort from the cook to address my concern. Instead, he appeared to leave the area shortly afterward. I do want to recognize Robert for remaining courteous and apologetic throughout the situation. I appreciated the way he personally handled my concerns. For me, cleanliness and proper food-handling practices are extremely important, especially when I am dining with my children. As longtime customers, this was particularly disappointing because we have chosen to return here many times in the past. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously, reviews its kitchen hygiene procedures, and ensures appropriate hair restraints and food-safety practices are consistently followed. I am not writing this review to attack anyone. I am sharing it because customers should be able to feel comfortable and confident about the cleanliness of the food being served to their families. Unfortunately, after this experience, I no longer have that confidence. read more

Waffle House - Steak & Eggs - Diners Near Me - Arkadelphia, Arkansas

The food was good but the prices sure have increased. The service was OK when my granddaughter and I had breakfast there. They weren't very busy but the waitress, though somewhat efficient, seemed interested in something else. Granddaughter loved the waffle and sausage she had, and my breakfast was good - especially the hash browns, but with tip it was thirty bucks for 1 waffle 1 coffee 2 scrambled eggs hash browns and toast. Plus it was only 40 degrees outside and they had the air conditioning on? We were freezing in there at 10 am. Not sure what that was all about but I'll give it a miss on my next visit. read more

This is the nicest waffle house I've ever been in. Much cleaner than the ones I've been in any place in Texas and better managed and nicer staff. Our waiter Caleb (I believe) was SO nice and did a great job and the other staff members were nice too. I ordered hash browns with steak on top and they were delicious and the coffee was great too. Good food, good service, my kind of place. read more

Staff: the greatest. Food: can't beat WH for waffles and the grits surprisingly had enough salt! The problem is, as it always seems to be at any WH I've been to, is a lack of basic cleanliness. I've been to many across several states and the common theme is a huge lack of attention to detail which invariably translates to the place looking dirty. I know it's human nature to start "unseeing" something after it's been the same for a while so could this have something to do with it? I'm tempted to suggest every WH institute the remarkably successful nursery school trick of using chore charts. Naming a specific thing to do every half hour, such as checking to see if the trash is overflowing, can make it seem less intimidating than simply ordering to keep things clean. Even when things are busy, there is always a minute to wipe down a table that's not occupied or replace a box of gloves that looks like chili dripped all over it. And that really, really dirty rag sitting over sticks of butter? Customers can see it so take a second to ditch it. Floors by the grill that look dangerously wet and are decorated with dirty paper towels, food bits, and dropped forks can quickly kill anyone's appetite. Wondering about the bathrooms? Don't look at me-- I've never ventured into a WH bathroom. I'm not knocking WH -- it is a quintessential American diner where you KNOW you'll get a great waffle. That's a pretty good endorsement. But I truly think a nation-wide emphasis on keeping up with basic cleanliness, with anonymous spot checkers for help, would lift WH from a 3 star to a 5 star experience read more

The service was great, extremely nice and upbeat. Kitchen had our food to us within 15 minutes and it was packed inside this Waffle House!! Very impressed, keep up the great work! read more

Waffle House - Pecan waffle. - Diners Near Me - Arkadelphia, Arkansas

Place was clean. Staff were friendly. Food service was significantly slow and not accurate..... but it was fixed quickly.

This was the worst Waffle House experience I've ever had. I can't say if the food was good or not, because after sitting at the bar for 12 minutes, I ended up walking out. I went in a little after 2am on a Wednesday night, so it was moderately busy with the post-bar crowd. I came in, and sat down at the bar, at which point the server said to me from behind the counter, "It's gonna be a while," in a snarky tone. The counter still had the dirty dishes from the last customers, which weren't cleared during the time I was there. I get that they were busy, but the waitress had a piss-poor attitude, and was standing around waiting for orders to come up instead of clearing dishes or even asking me if I wanted a drink. I went to the Waffle House a little further up the highway, in Lonoke, instead, and had a much better experience. read more

Waffle House - Clumpy grits - Diners Near Me - Arkadelphia, Arkansas

Last visit for breakfast was a disappointment. Music was way too loud. Coffee was not fresh and more of a "room temperature" than hot. Requested the music be turned down but the staff did not seem to know how to do it. Would suggest they unplug the damned thing so diners can enjoy their meal. read more

Food was good, service was good, but all of the servers were loud and talking about their personal problems. They guy was nice yes he forgot my order but his kindness substitute for it I was happy with the service

WARNING: STAY AWAY!!! I don't even want to give the one star, Yelp makes you!! Terrible service, dirty establishment, rude employees...well, rude to customers anyway, they are more interested in flirting and playing with each other!!! We are traveling on a road trip and it took us forever to convince my son in law to stop so we really wanted to eat and get back on the road, but they waited over 20 minutes before even calling back the order to the cooks! But they seemed to have plenty of time to hang around and chat about inappropriate topics in the hearing range of customers!! The food came out burned and inedible!! Very disappointed in this Waffle House experience!! read more

Not the Waffle House I remember from way back. Great service, but waffles were skinny flat. No real maple syrup, not even for extra $. The only thing this place has going for it is the great coffee mug. read more

The service here makes it worth coming. We stayed the night at a nearby hotel but slept in and missed breakfast. The Waffle House was right across the way and we are very satisfied with the service. Who doesn't love Waffle House. Whether it's early morning before work, or early morning after hanging. Waffle House is the go to when everything else is closed read more

The food was great but the service was awful. I've never felt more uncomfortable somewhere eating. We sat at the tall chairs and my waiter (Nicole) was very standoffish and acted as if everything my brother and I ordered was a chore. I am a server myself so I understand that some days are rough and some customers can be difficult but we we walked in excited to eat and with no difficult orders. The people beside us asked her for a fork and she acted like it was one of the hardest things to do. She rolled her eyes, huffed, and didn't even say a word to acknowledge she had heard them. But she did get a fork and hand it to them. On the plus side, highly recommend the pecan waffle and the other two ladies serving seemed very personable so maybe next time I'll just sit in a different section. I'm writing this review as I'm sitting here and she seems to have lightened up a little...finally saw a half smile, maybe she just had a rough day but still no way to treat your customers who are tipping you. I'll still tip 15-20% because I know how stressful the industry can be and this is her paycheck. read more

Wouldn't even give one star!!! Worse service ever there was only one couple sitting in there when we went in. Got drinks ordered and when we got our plates our waiter never came back to table to check on us sat 10 minutes with no refill!! Left a half a plate of food because of no refill was asked if we needed something said yes refills and nothing hit up to go pay then was asked if still wanted refill! On top of that had to wait on ticket! The two waiters were sitting at s table talking the whole time! Guess that conversation was more important than the tip he lost!!! read more
