One thing I love about Cracker Barrel is the shopping and the fact their food is consistent regardless of which location you go to. Knowing what to expect definitely makes it a great place to stop at. The food was great and even though the place was closing right as we finished I didn't feel like we were being rushed out the door or anything like that. The cashier was really nice and friendly too who helped us! This store had a crazy selection of the salt & pepper shakers which was really fun! Their store was really organized and clean despite it being the end of the day on a Sunday and it was by no means anywhere near empty last night!

Granddaughter loved the waffle and sausage she had, and my breakfast was good - especially the hash browns, but with tip it was thirty bucks for 1 waffle 1 coffee 2 scrambled eggs hash browns and toast. Plus it was only 40 degrees outside and they had the air conditioning on? We were freezing in there at 10 am. Not sure what that was all about but I'll give it a miss on my next visit.

My husband and I both had flavored lattes and they were amazing.... In taste & presentation! The breakfast taco & side of skillet potatoes were delicious & enough for us to share. I was fascinated by the merchandise on display for purchase. All the items were so interesting & unique. The seating area was clean, comfortable & inviting. We had intended to get our coffees & go but decided to sit & enjoy them. I would definitely recommend this amazing coffee shop to others.

Many of the "stalls" don't work - the screen doesn't work or the credit card scanner doesn't work or the red button to order doesn't work, though the screen may indicate that the red button has been activated. When I asked why there isn't an out-of-order sign on the broken stalls, I was told that "corporate" won't allow that. Corporate also seems disinterested in painting and maintaining the place with functional equipment. I can only imagine how bad it is inside the store after decades of neglect. And this broken-down location has a reputation among the locals. It's no wonder their business has dropped off. So bad, in fact, that the big sign out front only reads "We are open." Not for long, I assure you. To be fair - The carhops are consistently friendly and seem understanding of their customers' frustration. Sometimes, they have to come take orders in person. And often have to take your debit card inside to process. The place is as clean as it can be, no trash outside. My guess is that the management and employees are quite good. And the food and drinks and people are not bad. But you may never get to place an order. I will never go back to this location. Avoid the disappointment and frustration. Do not go here.

On a VA-TX drive and stopped nearby for gas. Desperate for something quick to eat, I swallowed my pride and went to Mickey D's. Maybe I was just in a road coma, but I had a really pleasant experience. The sandwich I got tasted like real food, was served hot and was assembled with care. The staff was very friendly and impressive and reminded me a lot of a Chick-fil-A crew. I was the only patron in the dining room at the time, but they kept me entertained with a running conversation on the merits of roles in relationships. It's worth taking a break from the drive and stopping in instead of just hitting up the drive-thru.
