The store features a small dining room in the adjacent space on the right. While you can get a really good burger, you really should order the fish. The fish being catfish fried to perfection. Firm, golden and crispy on the outside and flaky and moist on the inside. Perfection. We had the fish snack which was three pieces, two hush puppies, fries and a slice of raw onion (its a Southern thing.) McClellan's also offers fried pies, including strawberry, blackberry, coconut and chocolate. Even if you don't want lunch, consider getting a fried pie to enjoy on your trip. The outside is messy and appears neglected. The windows are so dark, at first we doubted if they were even open. The inside smells like their grease hood is not working. I was not very hungry, so I asked the waitress about the chili. She said that the chili hamburger is one of their most popular dishes. I didn't want the burger, just a bowl of chili. Mike ordered a simple burger and fries. His order came out fairly quickly, but it was taking longer for my bowl of chili. As I sat there waiting, I saw the cook place a disposable bowl on the pass. The waitress disappeared around the corner, and appeared about two minutes later with the chili in a proper bowl. She obviously microwaved the chili.
