The lady taking my order stated "we aren't taking alterations." I stated I have a food allergy, and was advised to "order something else." Dumb on my part, but thought I could just pick around part of sandwich so I had something to eat, but it was saturated in the item I am unable to have. My throat started to get scratchy, and felt like I was having an allergic reaction. I'm not blaming that part on them, that was my own stupidity for attempting. However, the rudeness from the staff is what bothered me. Was unable to make alterations for a FOOD allergy for one group of people, but next group they made them without issues. It's not like I was asking for a substitution, I was simply asking to not put anything on the sandwich. If anything I was giving you one less step and saving you a bit on food cost. Again, I am just very disappointed in how everything went on a professional level. They were rude to multiple people in my group. They were more focused on the speed rather than the quality of the food. We had no problem waiting for our food, but instead they wanted to literally "sling" food out quickly then focus on quality and safety. I'm sure they felt they were a bit overwhelmed, but that is no excuse when it comes to food safety. Again I'm just disappointed and I don't wish and ill will, but I hope we never use them again.

[TLDR]A food truck offering some fairly unique and creative sandwiches and wonderful sweet potato…read morefries[/TLDR] The thing I just don't have figured out about local food trucks is the pricing. You see, a lot of folks who want to open a restaurant start with a food truck these days because (in part) the costs of entry and operation associated with brick and mortar are much higher. So logically, given lower entry and operating costs, the price of a meal at a food truck should be lower than for the equivalent item at a brick-n-mortar eatery. But this rarely if ever seems to be the case locally, and indeed, everything seems to be a dollar or two more expensive than I'd expect at a brick and mortar at this food truck given my visit to the Screaming Goat. I will say their menu is generally more ambitious than most food trucks I have encountered. Many local food trucks feature as few as 3-4 items with a very simple ingredient list. Many of the dozen or so menu items here have a dozen or so ingredients, and are generally unique combinations of flavors one is not likely to find elsewhere. The Mac Daddy ($8) is one of the least complex items - basically a grilled cheese with bacon and mac-n-cheese - and I have heard considerable good word-of-mouth on this one, but it came off as plain and bland to me. The bacon was there texturally, but somehow lent no flavor to the sandwich. I didn't pull off the bread to check for the presence or absence of cheese, but if some was there, I can assure you I didn't taste any. The mac was itself very bland, with almost no cheese flavor when sampled by itself, and unfortunately overcooked to mushiness. I think this would also have been a bit better if the bread had been grilled a tad longer, but as you can see from the picture it only reached a light blond color. I also wish they'd have cut the sandwich in half for easier handling. Now, before you ask me if I'd like some cheese with my whine (and the answer to that will always be an unqualified YES!), let me say that the "Crackhead" fries ($3) were by far the better of the two items I have tried there. I love sweet potato fries, and the marriage of honey and whatever slightly caliente spice mix they use was very, very good; with the only problem being that there wasn't much of it and what was there was not well distributed - strong flavors on one fry while another was almost entirely unseasoned. If all the fries were seasoned properly, I'd call this a 5 star item. One other minor issue - these were served in an open fry boat like I was going to sit down there, but there are no tables. Should have been packaged in a manner more suited to takeout. I was told that the menu was seasonal, so once summer winds down the menu may well be partly or even entirely different. Service was affable and quick. I forgot to ask if they take credit cards, but will do so on my next visit, where I will ask for extra seasoning on those fries :-) 4 stars for the fries, 2 stars for the mac daddy sandwich and other issues = 3 stars overall

They were revelations, half rolled soft tacos with delectable fillings unlike anything I'd had in the States. The tacos at this unassuming little West side gem taste EXACTLY like the ones I remember from the Distrito Federal, authentic and flavorful and 1/4 of a mile from my house. I've had the al pastor, pollo, fish, barbacoa, veggies, and the amazing squash blossom fillings, and they all rock. They also have a variety of other handheld items and platos, but the tacos are so freaking good that I haven't tried them. Bienvenido al barrio, amigos!

I thought the picture of the huarache was A rolled fried tortilla like chimichangas are but maybe I looked at the wrong picture? I'm not sure. Then my boyfriend ordered the cubano sandwich which is colossal and worth $18 but it was nothing that he was expecting. It has A hotdog cut in half, A big slice of ham, the fried masa, lettuce that looked bad, A melted white cheese covering what I think was chorizo, but it tasted different than my chorizo. I think there needs to be more menu descriptions and it didn't come with egg like the menu said it did. He didn't eat it at all. I tried the fried masa which I think is what it is on there. It looks like A giant onion ring almost. However, it has no flavor and is just fried masa, again, I think. We spent $50 even and didn't get our queso that was $7, also again, we wasted $18 of the entire sandwich.

There can only be one…read more Interesting to visit a food truck that only had one item, I stood around waiting for the rest of the menu to be unveiled for a few moments. Boy was I wrong to think that I needed more options. The item is a steak sandwich served with potato chips, homemade BBQ sauce, and optional (but delicious) jalapenos. The bread is traditional hamburger buns buttered with garlic butter. The meat is generously portioned, tender, flavorful, and perfect. If you like meat, and you like delicious things, this is the food truck for you.

I believe that this food truck is one of only two eateries in the Greater Cincinnati area to…read morespecialize in tri-tip beef - Tafts in OTR being the other - but sadly I dont think they represent this cut of meat that is wildly popular on the west coat very well The truck has a grill built in on the left side as you face the ordering window, and you can see the meat being grilled while you wait in line to place you order. The finished meat is sliced to order on a standard deli meat rotary slicer, and goes from the slicer to your sandwich, nachos, taco, etc. In theory, this is all good, but the meat is cooked to a well done, which means it is very dry, and the slicing process seems to produce pieces that are more like shreds than actual slices of beef. To make matters worse, the beef - tho tender - isnt very flavorful The bun it is presented on is good quality, but it is stated that it is a garlic buttered bun and I didnt taste any garlic whatsoever on mine. More like a bun brushed with melted margarine. The mild catsup-y bbq sauce that is included on the side helps with the moisture issue but it also overwhelms the minimal flavor of beef on the sandwich. The potato chips also included with the sandwich help the value proposition a bit - many food trucks charge extra for sides, even chips - but these are straight from a Kroger bag, nothing special, just filler Service is on the slow side. Expect to wait 2-3 minutes per person ahead of you. I cant really fault them for this, as this isnt all being prepared in advance - they are slicing meat to order, so at least it is fairly freshly cooked. Overall - not a good value and not a meal I would go out of my way for to get
