ARE YOU JOKING ME. literally tried idk 8-9 flavors and they were all great, my scooper was so patient as I tried nearly everything which chocolate and/or caramel in it. I ended up selecting the Raspberry Haze when my socks almost literally blew off... the best ice cream I have ever had! I'm only in JAX for a few days to visit my sister but I will definitely be back.
This is a cute little ice cream shop! While I was hoping for more unique ice cream flavors, the single seasonal option - banana cream pie - caught my attention. The ice cream was tasty and the place had a fun vibe, great for a sweet treat.
Delicious ice cream and they have like 10 non-dairy flavors! The staff was super friendly and the quality of the ice cream was phenomenal. Great prices too! Super cute pink ambiance. Highly recommend to anyone to check them out!
When we entered we were greeted warmly and they were accommodating to us taste testing and patient with us so thank you to the 2 ladies helping us! We decided to try the cookie sandwich with vanilla and omg YUM! I love the creamy vanilla, and its not too sweet. The cookie is that crisp outside and soft inside, its not a thick cookie but thats what makes it perfect for a cookie sandwich. We sat inside to eat it and it was comfortable and clean. The decor is cute.
I personally didn't get any ice cream because I had an event to go to later and I was already full. The shop is so quant and the employee who helped my coworkers with their orders was wonderful. The flavors they had seemed pretty tame with flavors like Red Velvet, Mint Chip, Birthday Party, and The Elvis. I like a little more adventurous flavors. My coworkers grabbed some and the consensus was split. Half really liked what they got and the other half didn't. The half who didn't said the first few bites are good but then after eating it for awhile they grew bored of it. Not sure what to make of that but to each his/her own.
Cute ice cream shop in the 5 points area, cute decor. Had a large variety of ice cream- basic and specialty flavors. Also had a large number of dairy and sugar free options. My kids are pretty basic and just order vanilla ice cream with toppings. I was surprised they didn't have sprinkles but my kids were satisfied with m&ms and Reese pieces as alternatives. I tasted the Graham Slam, and it was phenomenal. Great flavor, not overpowering. The attendant actually said it was the #1 seller. Not bad price wise- single scoop with 1 topping was about $5.00
I love this ice cream shop!! For one it's adorable and the decor is super cute. Right in the heart of five points, prepare ahead to park but most of the time I find a spot in the lot on the side of their building. Their ice cream flavors feature usual staples like vanilla, chocolate, mint chip - but also a few fun unique flavors. My personal favorite is the Elvis , peanut butter and banana - amazingggg! Obviously with their name they have cones on deck including their delicious classic waffle cone. But I personally do not recommend the waffle cone bowl, last time I had it appeared under baked yet it was hard to chew and stale, not good unfortunately. Otherwise, they have friendly service and they are happy to assist you with samples, try all the flavors you'd like. Another fun thing about this place is if you follow them on social media they do a "name of the day" and if it is your name, you get free ice cream! Such a great addition to the five points and riverside area.
Waffle cone was such a nice and inviting ice cream shop in the perfect location on the corner of five points. It was so pretty, pink and inviting the two employees were so helpful. Some of my friends were gluten-free and they were really accommodating of the allergy. I got strawberry cheesecake flavor, and it was to die for!
Today was my Birthday and I was craving Waffle Cone Ice Cream all day!!!! Today I got the Dulce De Leche on a waffle cone which is one of my favorites! My wife ordered the pistachio on a waffle cone and she said she loved it! The great thing was "Susanne" was the name of the day so got hers free. Out of all the ice cream shops in Jacksonville we feel Waffle Cone is the best!!! Service is always friendly!!! Watch their Instagram page for the name of the day and if your name (first or middle) comes up you can get a free scoop of ice cream.
This ice cream parlor is just simple. It didn't have the kiddie flavors that my baby love. Luckily the birthday cake ice cream had kid appeal. I get a thrifty hippie vibe in the shop. It's simple and spacious. But the tables and chairs are dinette style and small
Out of all of the ice cream places I've been, I think Waffle Cone is my all-time, number one favorite. Seriously. Not only do they have dairy free options, but they are EXCELLENT dairy free options. The traditional ice cream is phenomenal - my husband can attest to that. But man, the dairy free - it's so fresh and the texture is *spot on*. I think almost everyone who has had their name selected for 'name of the day' has mentioned this in their review. I could NOT believe that they actually had my name and I got a HUGE and AMAZING free ice cream cone. How cool is that?? And who in the world would ever use SASHA? (Not that I'm complaining!) It's a super cute spot with fun decor and really great staff. Everyone is super nice and friendly - and very patient while you try the million flavors and decide what your treat is going to be. Cannot recommend this place enough - and I'm not even a dessert lover... so please, take my word - it's AWESOME.
Waffle Cone never disappoints and is our favorite ice cream shop in Jacksonville. I love their chocolate dipped sugar cones and it paired perfectly with the fantastic Graham Slam flavor. Graham crackers ice cream base with dark chocolate covered waffle cone pieces and honey graham cracker pieces, so good! Sampled this flavor first and didn't need to try anything else! Service is always great and the shop has lots of seating options. Best ice cream shop!
I needed a something sweet today and decided it would be some ice cream. I said - "let me try Waffle Cone since I always see them when I eat at Hawkers." I want to first say the service was wonderful. Aiden was so nice and I know he made my milkshake with patience and skill. He was quick making several orders but he also made sure they were correct. I can respect that and I personally think he deserves a raise. I liked that they had dairy free options and the environment is very retro. A large family with small kids sat on my left but a group of laughing teenagers sat on my right - both were able to enjoy the space and ice cream. My shake was so good - the pricing was fair and I really feel I got great quality ice cream. I must come back and bring my mother to try their butter pecan.
I really wanted ice cream on Friday and I wanted somewhere close to home. We found waffle cone and we are so glad we did. The spot was really beautiful and the service was top notch. They had so many ice creams to choose from and we got to try a few before coming to our decision. I had the Apple strudel and it was out of this world. It was so rich and creamy and absolutely hit the fall spot my soul was craving! My husband had the cookie dough and also was very impressed. They also do pup cups so our sweet furry baby was able to enjoy with us! They have a lot of amazing fall flavors coming up that we I definitely will be back to try. AMBIANCE: Waffle Cone was decorated very nicely; Lots of seating. Even has a cute picture wall if you wanted to take a selfie! FOOD: My husband and I got the 6 scoops of ice cream, which came in a plastic tin. I appreciated the ice cream was kept separate! My favorite out of all the flavors I got was the blue "Mojo" Cookie Monster ice cream. We finally got to try out the new shop in town and they did not disappoint!! It was super hot today so perfect for ice cream. My partner and I both got brownie sundaes but he got captain butterscotch ice cream and I got dulce de leche and peanut butter with fudge. We also got a pup cup for our sweet girl. This place is SO CUTE! There's seating, there are great photo ops, good choice of ice creams! The waffle cones are freshly made and smell delicious. The workers are friendly and give you all the samples you want to try. We came almost at closing and they were still super friendly. I've been hearing great things about Waffle Cone and finally was able to give it a try. The two employees working were very bubbly and offered suggestions for flavors. The first thing I noticed was they had an entire freezer dedicated to non-dairy ice creams. I can only have dairy in small doses and I stopped eating ice cream because most ice cream shops only have one option/the only option is sorbet. Not only does this place have multiple non-dairy options, but the ice cream is made with coconut milk, so the texture is very similar to dairy ice cream. Per the employee's suggestion, I opted to have mine in a waffle bowl. It looks like these are made in-house, which I can't recall ever seeing before. I ended up ordering the coffee flavored ice cream and it tasted amazing with my waffle bowl! The interior is also adorable, it gives vintage ice cream store vibes with modern touches. OMG! As of a year ago I was t ok told that I was like close to. I have been craving ice cream because that's one of my favorite treats. This place truly delivered. Most places only have one or two varieties of dairy free ice cream but this place delivered. Walking into Waffle Cone is like walking into a perfect movie set ice cream shop, complete with friendly smiles, amazing smells, and fresh, delicious ice cream. Even if the line is out the door, the employees are patient and have no problem letting you try every flavor. The scoops are huge! My favorite flavor is Mt. Caramel, but when Aiden is working, he gets so excited about the sugar and dairy-free flavors that I have found myself enjoying scoops I never would have considered. Aiden also loves making surprise sundaes if you give him a few ideas of what you like. The owners are super sweet, and I enjoy the Instagram reels, especially with Aiden's cameos. read more

I must say this was our first time coming in today and it met our expectations. It's always good to support a local business and this is one of the best in the area. They have a shockingly great selection of ice cream and many are unique. I tried the birthday cake and my wife tried the strawberry made with coconut milk. Both were tremendous. This is not only the CUTEST ice cream shop I have ever been to but also the tastiest!! Vibes are immaculate, perfect for pretty pictures but seriously their selection is amazing! Dairy free and sugar free options available AND they have gluten free cones!! You must try the Raspberry Haze, I have been daydreaming about it since I had it last. You can get an ice cream flight to try six different flavors for a great cost. The prices are just right (you get SO much ice cream). Also the service is WONDERFUL.
