We ordered 4 waffles for delivery at our place. The delivery was unfortunately wrong. Instead of the 4 waffles we wanted we got only two, and completely different. Mistakes happen, of course. So I called them, trying to be nice and see if we could sort this out without having to wait too long. The guy at the phone didn't even try to understand what went wrong (was it their mistake, was it the delivery guy mixing up orders?). He just said, in a very impolite tone "you ordered through that online service, now you contact them" (an implicit f..k you, if I ever heard one).
I wanted to at least ask what it was that we got instead of our orders, just to check that nobody was allergic to any ingredients, but the guy just hung up on me. This would be enough to discourage those of us who value education and customer service. For those of you that don't care about the service, as long as the food is good, here is an epilogue: since I don't have any allergies, I did try the waffles they sent us. Barely edible. The dough was grey. Literally.
So the food is terrible, and whoever they got answering the phone should find himself a job as far away form people as possible. read more
