    Belgian Hot Chocolate!
    Matthew B.

My granddaughters had the Strawberry Nutella waffles, they got good reviews! My bride had a Belgium hot chocolate, said it was the best she's ever had! The service was very fast & friendly!! Being right in front of Macy's, the atmosphere was great!

I visited Rockefeller Center a while back and this food truck was located nearby. They weren't taking orders at the food truck window, instead they had a couple kiosks set up at the back of the truck where you place the order and pay. After waiting around about 15 minutes I asked on of the workers about my order and it turned out that it was somehow "lost". It was difficult communicating with them and they acted like they didn't know how to make one of the items I ordered -- "de turtle wafel". Eventually, I got my order -- coffee, hot chocolate, de bomb wafel, and de turtle wafle. Everything was pretty good but the service was disappointing.

The waffles were delicious and warm on arrival, but the whipped cream was the best part. Enjoyed eating this and looking at the Christmas markets around the park, but the huge tree with ice skating takes the cake, which makes it even more enjoyable to have a sweet treat while doing so.

Wham Bam 8/10; perfect order for a true sweet tooth, a lot bigger than I thought it would be and can easily be shared with others

After walking the streets for a few hours during NYC Pride, it was time to cool down with a treat. Coming across this spot was perfect. Choosing to order the Wham Bam was easy: cookies, chocolate sauce, whipped cream. This has a bit of everything! Beware that it's wickedly sweet and also bigger than you'd think. After just a few mins. of waiting, our orders were ready to be indulged in. The seating indoors was a bit cramped, but so are most hole in the wall places here.

I want to introduce to you Wafels & Dinges. Known for their delicious Belgian waffles, they also sell ice cream, coffee, shakes, and hot chocolate. Two winters ago I did a hot chocolate tour where I tried nearly 50 different hot chocolates across different boroughs. While Wafels & Dinges' hot chocolate isn't my favorite in the city, but it's up there. What I want to rave about is something I constantly crave... their scrumptious Belgian waffles. They offer a variety of these exquisitely presented treats, so there's something to satisfy everyone's sweet tooth. Honestly every one I've tried I've loved, so I'd recommend trying out whichever fits your general taste palette the best. Hot tip: they are located in multiple locations across the city, so check to see which is closest to you when you decide to visit!

Stopped by here to chill at Bryant Park on a beautiful morning. It was good. I wish they drizzled less of the chocolate to get more of the actual flavor of the waffle. Give it a try if you're at Bryant park.

So overpriced and for what man. It was yummy but it was not worth more than $7. I've been a few times with friends and its hasn't gotten better

I can't believe I have not tried this place before! I visited NY recently and saw this in Bryant Park on a chilly day so I wanted to get a warm waffle and coffee. The waffle was SO good. I added strawberries and Nutella and it was so good. The coffee was great too! They have a seating area so I ate there and went about the day. I went at night as well before they closed and it was equally as good! Highly recommend checking this place out any time of day!

Unfortunately They really need to update their business hours. We walked here twice and doordashed it once and all 3 times they were somehow closed. Even though the doordasher went to pickup the order the place was not open, and we just walked here since it said it closes at 1am, and they were closed again. This is honestly unacceptable. Not sure if i wanna go here anymore.

Amazing treats!! Does not disappoint. Every time I'm here at Bryant Park, I always have to stop in for a sweet treat.

I love this place! Never disappoints. This hot chocolate was amazing! I have tried the waffles in the past and yummy as well! If you see this place around, try them!

I had the waffles in Manhattan and they are the most amazing waffles. The chocolate sauce is to die for. I wish we had this in California.

It came out as a thick piece of deep-fried toast topped with ice cream, boba, caramel popcorn, and strawberries on the side. Not healthy at all, but really good. It's one of those desserts you probably wouldn't get every day, but worth trying at least once. Fun to share and definitely something different from the usual desserts.

They have a water dispenser, two locking bathrooms, and plenty of outlets, so I already have a very positive view of Grace Street as a good place to rest. The food is alright. It's a bit overpriced and the teas are not good quality. However, the desserts are delicious. I usually split a slice of basque cheesecake with my friends. The regular and matcha have both been good in my experience. I don't like chocolate cake, so I haven't tried that variety. I wish the pumpkin was available in the smaller size too! I've tried their boba, and it isn't good. The hot teas are okay but not great. They're pretty much just syrup and milk. I would avoid the drinks and just get the desserts! I haven't personally tried the bingsoo, but I've heard good things. The waffle is alright--all in all, come here to recharge and for the basque cheesecake!

There weren't that many options for sitting, so you have to be prepared to wait for a second for a table. Thankfully, upon arrival, we were able to sit down almost immediately as a couple tables opened up. The menu is pretty short and sweet. They have sandwiches, pancakes, French toast, potatoes, bakery options, etc. it seems that they are more of a coffee shop, so there were plenty of coffee and tea options. The homefries were really good, just a little oily and not as crispy as I would've liked. The restaurant makes their own jam, which seemed to be dragon fruit, and it was tasty but i don't think it went well with my sandwich. My friend gave her French toast a 7.5.

The cafe seemed pretty and well-liked, so I'm open to try their food in the future.

Buvette was able to accommodate me for an early dinner shortly after my arrival in New York,…read morespecifically the West Village. Buvette is one of five W. Village eateries helmed by power-chef duo Jody Williams and Rita Sodi; four are within a block of each other. I passed the other three (Bar Pisellino, Via Carota, I Sodi) on my way and all had lines out the door. Carota and Sodi are Italian, Buvette is French. There are 2 other Buvettes in Asia and one coming soon in London. Buvette does not do reservations. Buvette is a charming but tiny/cramped space, made more tiny within the last year by NYC's removal of pandemic-era street patios which greatly helped dining capacity. Buvette may sometimes have a few front sidewalk tables, and there's a tiny outdoor patio in the back. The tables and dishware are also tiny. There's a kitchen in the back, but some food is also prepared below the bar in front, where there seem to be some ovens. The food seems reliably consistent here. The menu is short but there are daily specials. I ordered a non-alcoholic ginger soda, crab tartine (a special), lobster a l'Americaine (lobster pot pie) and frites. The soda is always on the menu and is refreshing, with a nice snap of ginger. The crab tartine was fab, a fresh crab salad with avocado atop toast. The lobster pot pie was made in the under-bar oven, a small serving of lobster and veggies with a golden puff pastry topper. Delish. The frites were nicely crisp, served with an aioli. Service was okay, but my hot food took about 45 minutes to come out, apparently because my ticket was lost. Overall a pleasant meal, my first during this visit.
