If you look closely, you'll notice some great customer service here.
His name is Adam Wadley, and he owns Wadley's Funeral Service.
I've known Adam most of my adult life.
He's laid to rest three wee ones in our family: Maddox (4 1/2 months), Blake (17 months), and Preston (3 1/2 years).
He also laid my brother, Joe (44 years old), to rest.
He also handled the services for my late husband, Kevin (59 years old).
On this day, if you look closely, there are two caskets - he was laying my dad and mom to rest. They passed 36 hours apart.
As a photographer, I feel "safe" behind a camera. So, while the rest of the family sat underneath the green tent, I captured the military honors and emotions of the day.
When I went back to edit these, what I noticed and then remembered through ours and countless funerals of extended family and friends over the years was the quiet presence of Adam.
He made sure our difficult days, when we were struggling just to breathe, went well.
Maybe the best customer service is done so quietly that every need is met before a need arises. If so, that embodies Adam and his staff.
Thank you, Adam, for everything you have done that I never knew about. You saved me from dealing with a million questions at a time when I didn't have one answer to give. read more
