    Baked salmon

The pictures online made this place look very appealing however it wasn't that. We arrived 2 hours past opening, the location was dead and the sushi bar wasn't stocked with fresh fish yet. When we sat down to order, it seemed like there were really only 2 people working the room. Only captured 2 photos and didn't finish it all. We ordered: Peppered Salmon- looked good, very smokey, was ok 3/5 Egg rolls- good Tempura veggies - good Japanese lasagna- the sauce on top wasn't good Baked salmon roll- eh Rainbow roll- was very messy and did not look appetizing. Only ate half of it bc I didn't want to seem rude. The fish wasn't fresh Las Vegas roll- poorly done, the sauce on top was drenching so the fried part was soggy, also didn't finish it All in all, was definitely not a fan of the sushi When another table came in for hibachi, they waited for awhile (probably bc the chef was making our sushi first) but came out and didn't talk much. Didn't put on an entertaining show, more soo cooked in silence to get the family their food. I was disappointed for them. Maybe they're better at night with more workers or a crowd, however we were not happy with our time there and will not be going back.

Thank you for always being so amazing with my seniors. Today is our last trip together with this community of seniors. I am moving to a new job and will miss our time at your wonderful restaurant. The food always fresh and well done. The attention you provided for my seniors was very much appreciated. We always loved the food and had a great time. Thank you.

Harry was our sushi chef. He was fast and very kind. The sushi wasn't as tasty as I had hoped (but to be fair I ordered vegan and there aren't many options only Avocado or cucumber roll and vegetable roll) the inari roll however, (which is made of sweet soybean paste) was made exceptionally by Happy. The hostess also made really great drinks, I had a lychee martini. They were both so kind.

So let the photos be self-explanatory that they're such bad pictures that I didn't have the patience to wait to eat the food. I like this place I will be returning to it from here forward customer service could step it up a little bit, but overall the food was amazing and I have no complaints.

I wanted to give Wabi Sabi a better review but it fell short for me. First off, I have to address the Chicken Fried Rice I ordered along with my New York Steak and Shrimp dinner, it was just plain fried rice. No other ingredients included. Just the fried rice. Has the recipe changed? The steak and shrimp were both delicious. Both flavorful and well seasoned. Cooked exactly as requested. The side of vegetables were a mixture of soggy and crisp. Caterpillar Roll, I've had fresher and better. Salad was "A" standard. No complaints. Delivery service was great. Food was delivered hot and well within expected delivery time. No contact delivery is offered. The price range is high considering the quality of food served.

I was on a solo date with moi. Love to dine with self always! Staff was very welcoming upon entry. Service was top-notch throughout the evening. I went all out on my dining experience. I couldn't resist, but to order the best sushi rolls, sushi + ramen bowls, and iced green tea. Let's just say I was hungry LOL. Everything was amazing! Seaweed salad was the best I've ever had. Between the two sushi rolls, I enjoyed the Carribean Roll more. I think it was the sweet onion that put it over the top. TASTY! Chirashi Bowl had fresh fishes in good cuts. YUM! Ramen Bowl had savory broth and tender chashu pork with all my favorite toppings. DELISH! Refreshing Iced Green Tea was in a large glass. YAY! I dined liked a queen. I would do it again. Of course, I had to pack the leftovers to-go plus order some to-go for my daughters. Overall dining experience was wonderful. Definitely would come back again. If you haven't tried Kazama Sushi, add it to your list to try. Went in with an empty stomach, ordered a water which i only took a sip of. Pros: -Sushi size is bigger than most places -They were very generous w/ the ginger & wasabi -They provided a lolipop w/ your check Cons: -I wish the Eel was crisper I feel like a 7/10 full. I paid $32.36 (before tip) Pretty satisfied with my meal. Still exploring sushi spots to see if rolls are worth the price so no opinion as of right now, However I have been to cheaper spots (just as good) in the SD area.

We were seated quickly and taken back by how vibrant the interior was. We decided to order multiple plates and share so we ordered Dumpling Soup, Grilled Swai, Chicken Katsu Curry, and Garlic Noodles. Everything was so delicious but the Garlic Noodles were the star of the show for me. They weren't dry or oily, it was the perfect texture. They even brought us chili oil. We ended up getting Milky Buns for dessert which tasted like warm beignets. The prices also weren't bad at all for the amounts that we got. We also utilized the lunch special and happy hour so our portions were a bit smaller. Amazing service with friendly staff. Love this place and can't wait to be back.

6pm, Friday, September 19, 2025…read more It was hopping in downtown Claremont. My date had a certain place in mind though... House of Pong Asian Fusion. It was my first visit here but it won't be my last. I had already did my browsing of what's on the menu. I joined in on the crispy tofu for the appetizer and the crispy salmon skin salad. When we walked in it was busy. The Dodger game was on at the bar. There were maybe three open tables at most. We were seated at their small table against the wall. A cozy table for two. We were greeted by our friendly server, she brought the menus and ask us about drinks to start. I've water all around, haha. She came back with our water. Ooh, tasted like cucumber water... Refreshing. While my lady was deciding, I ordered: crispy tofu appetizer (presented in a small dish, about 10-12 pieces of hot, crispy cubes of golden tofu with a dipping sauce) and the salmon skin salad for my entree. The salad was an ample sized serving to share between the two of us. The salmon skin was julienned and were crispy little clumps like miniature fishy hash browns. Very crispy and tasty salad that included sliced tomatoes, cucumber, and scallions on mixed greens. My date ordered the charshu ramen. We shared our plates. The ramen was very tasty. The noodles had a good chew, not over cooked. Mmm, that was delicious. The robotic server was kitchy and cute. Maybe it does assist them with delivering plates to the table but the human server was observed transferring them from the bot to the table. For our table, we had our food delivered in stages not at the same time. The crispy tofu arrived first, then the ramen, and several minutes later came the salmon skin salad. Not a deal breaker but noticed. Food was good. Service was okay, could be better.

This time, it was also my first time trying the rice pot dish, and I was actually surprised by how much I enjoyed it. The portion was generous and the flavor was very nice. The service was also very attentive throughout the meal. The servers regularly checked in and made sure to refill the fire gel for the hot stone grill whenever it started going out, which I appreciated. Overall, it was a solid meal and a place I'd definitely come back to again.
