This task is typically…read moreimpossible but I saw this spot, their homepage advertised same day bookings and they actually had times available on their booking site with Alex! I checked the reviews for any mentions of Alex and they were all positive so I was pretty excited. From start to finish Alex was fantastic. He was very accommodating from the get go, offering to turn on the heating on the bed, covered my hair with a towel to keep my hair out of the way and support for my shoulders while he worked on me. It was clear that he was pretty knowledgeable with the body/muscles/anatomy and how to best take care of me with mobility and relaxation in mind, these two things are not always the easiest to find in one massage. I pretty much transcended by the end of the massage and was so, so happy to be pleased and not disappointed with trying out a new business and new therapist. I've gotten many massages and am excited to have found a therapist like him that I can feel confident about booking with again!

Once we were in the room she asked me to explain what areas I wanted to focus on. I explained that I had had knee surgery 7 weeks ago and that my calf and hamstring on that leg were tight and needed to be stretched out. She nodded that she understood. She started working on that leg with light pressure and then moved to the left leg. I asked her to please go back and apply more pressure on the right leg and she refused, citing that my surgery was too recent and that she would need to wait 8 weeks to apply more pressure. At the end of the session I asked her why she didn't tell me that she was not going to honor my request when we first discussed it but she just repeated what she had said before. I had booked a longer appointment just to have this issue properly addressed and it was not. I didn't get the work done that I asked for and feel that I am owed at least a partial refund. I left a review at the office but have heard nothing back from them.

As the Founder of Meticulous Massage®, she was genuinely excited to work with me, making the visit deeply personal and putting me right on cloud 9. What stood out most was her warm, intuitive approach. She is deeply attentive and METICULOUS, exactly as advertised--proving that her motto, "Precision Changes Everything," is absolutely true. This isn't just a basic massage; it's serious, thoughtful bodywork. Nedra intuitively knew exactly where I was hurting and always used the perfect, comforting pressure to melt the tension away. I left feeling completely renewed, and that beautiful sense of relief lasted for several weeks afterward. It was a deeply relaxing experience that truly changed my body. I cannot recommend her enough!

Honestly it's way, way overpriced. Nedra seemed nice enough but really? I don't think she got any of my knots and it felt relaxing at times but definitely not $300 relaxing. As…read morea person who spends a lot of time helping others I aways put my self love treatments in the back burner, so this was an exceptional treat. It is located right off of Michigan ave. There is public street parking available but I ended up using SpotHero as I didn't want to risk running around to find a spot. There is also valet available in the area if you're interested. I arrived at the office and everyone was so welcoming and kind. I had the privilege of working with Dania as my lymphatic drainage massage therapist and she was an absolute delight. I explained to her I've only had typical swedish and Thai massages before and she gave me a thorough explanation as to the difference and what to expect during the experience. She offered to explain the techniques during the massage if I like or if I would prefer a silent session. I love the option as I enjoy learning things related to health. Prior to the lymphatic drainage massage I used the add-on for the Cocoon Wellness Sauna Pod to prepare and relax my body and mind. It looks exactly like a space pod from a science fiction movie, but ever so calming. Laying in the pod you're exposed to infrared dry sauna heat, it looked like red light therapy, vibration massage and Himalayan salt therapy and aroma therapy. Relaxing in here put me in a calming state of zen that I'm usually unable to achieve by meditating. This was an eye opening luxurious experience as my body felt lighter as the lymph and fluid were pushed away from the area and towards my core/kidneys. I've also gained my bodily awareness as I tend to tense up my abdomen subconsciously which inhibits my ability to relax my mind, body, and vessels. This is truly a luxury experience that is experience feel special from start to finish.

With all the other spas in the city to choose from. Umm sorry-- you want to reschedule after we were already here, on time! What an asshole! So no, we won't be wasting any more time with you, We have plans today.. the plan was to visit you at 10 am, be done at 11 and carry on our day, I don't have time to waste my life all day walking to your business, hoping you might show up to work today. I'm really pissed off you messed up our whole schedule, not to mention waste of time walking all the way here. You are a terrible business. Wasted my time and energy!!!! Seriously horrible! One more thing... if you were going to be late, or cancel or needed to postpone to 11... BE A PROFFESSIONAL, and CALL ME before I trekked all that way out to see you... some people can't be walking blocks and blocks to experience a massage and then the masseuse doesn't show up.
