The Salmon looked good but ended up ordering the chicken/steak and vegetables skipped the rice was on the healthy tip just extra vegetables. I was going to get the chili spicy dumplings but didn't because I don't eat pork. They may want to consider getting vegi or chicken dumplings just a thought. This location took a very long time with my order. There were about four employees in the prep area, everyone was talking, and everyone looked lost. There seemed to be no organization. They also got the quantity of my dumplings wrong. I ordered two separate orders of five dumplings, for a total of 10, but somehow only received 8. I spent almost $50 and then had to deal with getting a refund for the missing items. I spoke with Ana, who told me the reimbursement would be processed within 2-3 business days. It has now been 4 business days, and I still have not received the refund. The food was absolutely disgusting!!! I've ordered from here twice. The first time was from a DoorDash delivery in August 2025 and our food seemed like it was scraped from the bottom of the Labrea Tar Pits. It was dry, burnt, old and nasty. The last time was December 2025. I walked in, ordered and gave clear instructions not to mess this one up, because my wife was just getting off the plane. But no!!!!! They never grilled nothing. The rice was dumped into hot water. The chicken was dumped into hot water. Then the veggies were dumped into hot water, then put into a bowl. I was standing there shocked, like these idiots can't see me watching them doing this shit!!! I called the manager, and told her about this. Her dumb ass tells me she has to watch the cameras and will call me back. It's been two weeks, and I've made 3 phone calls and this woman (Yesenia) refuse to be a respectable human, and a woman of her words to simply call me back and refund me. I ordered a salad, and they messed it up completely. I ordered a house salad, and it was made like it was a Spicy Asian salad. I did NOT order that. Every time I have gone here they have made it correctly, but this time no. I have never seen the girl who was making it work there until today, but it was disappointing, I ended up giving my dogs the chicken. It had edamame in there and had Waba sauce on top of my meat and they did not even give me the correct dressing for it as well (I got the spicy dressing). This is not how my salads usually have been made. There is no Waba sauce or edamame and I never order the spicy Asian one. I didn't even get the wonton strips for this either. This frustrated me and I just ended up throwing out the rest. They were not even friendly as well either when you walked in. Very disappointing. This is my first time coming to this Waba Grill on my way home after seeing a friend who lives in the area. I ordered a chicken bowl with avocado for $11.22, the serving size was a pretty good sized lunch for one person. I ordered the bowl without the sauce and the chicken was made and seasoned to order. I called ahead of time to place my order for pickup and it was available pretty quickly - within 10 minutes. The inside of the restaurant is clean and has a good amount of tables and chairs. The steak bowl was cold ( idk if that was the driver or the restaurant) second, it was 90% rice. Barely any meat I wouldn't order from here again. I had to take a picture it was so egregious. I'd take a bite before I took the pic but I assure you they really play in my face with the 3 table spoons of cold steak and all that rice. My family (of 5) wanted WaBa (Inglewood) is the closest location. Never ever will we return here! The cashier was very rude (1-18-25 @ 6:15pm). Our order was wrong, the food was cold, they didn't have carrots, peppers, onions. We ordered one bowl with 1 scoop of rice and the rude cashier says we only put 1 scoop but they proceed to put 2 1/2 scoops of rice. We ordered Teriyaki chicken & steak bowl. If I could give this place 0 stars I would, horrible management, and to be completely honest it didn't even feel like there was a manager there. They all had cups that weren't from WaBa grill drinking from them and making faces. I knew what they were up to but that isn't my place to tell them anything. Great for a quick and healthy meal! Order at the counter and grab your food about 5 minutes later. Located in a strip mall, parking can be difficult in the lot if you come during peak hours. The restaurant itself was clean and well maintained. It was relatively new. The menu contained a good selection of rice bowls, salads, wraps and plates with options of tofu, chicken, shrimp, salmon, and beef. The were several choices of sauce. Stopped in to grab a quick lunch and the place was a complete mad house. Despite the large crowd, the staff managed to serve everyone in a timely manner. A plus for myself since I was on a short time limit. For the food it was decent. I've always thought Waba Grills chicken could use a bit more seasoning but nothing a few sprinkles of salt can't fix. This place is the worst!! That men's room smell, another Yelper mentioned, a YEAR ago...is still here!!! We got our food to go, as he suggested. Well, we could of left it there! I ordered a toastada shrimp salad, with pico de gallo. I'm used to having the toastada in a bowl, right? Well, they gave me a plastic bowl full of the shrimp/pico de gallo concoction and toastada "chips", on the side. Really? I thought a toastada bowl is a bowl?? It was tasty but, I needed the bowl. My son wasn't to thrilled with his selection either. He said the smell in the place, made him lose his appetite. I don't know what all the fuss is about? Chipotle is better to me. I was on my way to LAX to pick up a relative and wanted to pick up a couple of meals so that we don't look for a place after. I was actually feeling some Mexican food but didn't find any around me so I stopped by Waba Grill. I always hear their commercials on the radio so I assumed they would be good. I walked through the entrance and was impressed by how big this place was. You can also see everything into their kitchen which gave it an even larger feel. I looked at their menu and went with the waba veggie bowls. Their cashier also recommended it. When I checked in to Yelp, I saw that they had a check-in offer and their manager was super nice. He refunded my transaction and rung me up again so that he can give me the 10% off. I waited around for a few minutes so I got to really see the restaurant. The kitchen had equipment that had a layer of grease on it and looked very dirty from my side. Their condiment stand had two dispensers for teriyaki sauce and Hot sauce and they were both very very dirty. I'm not sure what the inside looks like but I don't think I want to find out. I picked up my meals and proceeded to LAX for the pick up. When we got home we open the bowls and we couldn't even bite into them. The meat was so over cooked and over sauced that we couldn't even find pieces of meat in there. The vegetables were so mushy just like baby food. I wish I would have eaten there because I would have returned my meal and gotten a refund. It was so so bad. I'm usually not a very harsh reviewer but their food was terrible. One star for the friendly manager and one star for the check-in offer besides that, I would have given it no stars :( read more

Pretty sweet spot to swing by! Now WaBa will be one of my go-tos while rock climbing at the gym nearby. (Btw WaBa, a bunch of climbers asked us where we got our food upon bringing it back to the gym - hungry people will come your way ;) Enough parking in the plaza. If you're driving northbound or from 405 North, take a right on S Felton Ave then left into the plaza. WaBa will be on your right. Steak bowl with brown rice was $9; Chicken bowl with brown rice was $8. I had the Steak bowl, and it was delicious! The portions were HUGE! I ate half at the gym then enjoyed the other half for lunch the next day. Although we ordered food to-go, the restaurant looked very clean and well kept. Restrooms are down the hall. Staff was also very polite and kind! We came in at 8:55pm - 5 minutes before closing - yet they greeted us with smiles, and also offered jalapeño peppers/onions before throwing them out. It's a very clean and tidy place to stay for a meal. Too bad couldn't try the spicy pork plate this time as the food was out of stock. Tried the chicken veggie rice bowl and is was exceptionally huge when served! And the chicken was so perfectly cooked, that I could tell it's almost the same as those served in Japan. Last night 2/27/2021 at around 7pm I visited the WabaGrill on century blvd and Felton Ave in Inglewood. I ordered a chicken bowl but soon noticed a new item on the menu so i asked the cashier what exactly was it, he (Raul G) told me it's the chicken bowl but with the sauce already on it. I assumed it was the Waba Sauce so I went with that. I ordered the sweet and spicy chicken bowl. When I got my order I open it and forked a piece of chicken out because I noticed it wasn't what I thought it was so I asked can I exchange it for a regular chicken bowl instead. Raul G then told me no because I had already ate it. I said ok and walked out. I quickly returned because I know that at restaurants, businesses, establishments etc if your unhappy with the product your provided a refund or exchange unless stated otherwise. Upon my return I hear Raul G and a older White gentleman saying " it's always the black ppl" I walked up to the two and asked "What did you say" the older gentleman then said " we said black people always causing a problem" I then gave him a small piece of my mind and he left very soon after. I then asked for a refund and at that point I was told by the MOD (didn't get his name) that I could then just exchange it. I was ok with that because that's all I wanted in the first place. I get my food and leave and not once did anyone apologize for that raciest conversation that I overheard. Also it was very hurtful to know that just because I don't like something that's me causing a problem. If I have to pay I should at least be happy about the service rendered. I work right across the street I visit waba grill 4/5 times a week so I'm very familiar with the food they serve. It's always chopped grilled chicken and steamed veggies, saying this to say when I got home to eat (I had not checked my food inside the restaurant because it's a regular chicken bowl what could be wrong?) I feel like that gave me slops/scraps. Instead of chopped chicken I had chunks, with skin or fat not sure. Not bad...not bad at all. WaBa Grill is what Flame Broiler used to be during its heyday. I love having a lunch option that's both fast and a bit healthy. My favorites are the Salmon veggie bowl and the Chicken Veggie bowl. The salmon is pretty tasty and cooked well. Of course with every bowl, you get the choice of brown or white rice and green onion or no green onion. Location could be deemed as a bit sketchy. But it's not that bad.
