They didn't have the item either, but they had some really cute, curated pieces of great designers. They were happy to send me to a competitors storefront as I continued my "scavenger hunt" for this piece... even though they weren't profiting off of it. I ended up purchasing an item from them anyway (because it was so fun and I also really appreciated the assistance). Reasonable costs and the pieces looked well taken care of. When I'm in Ireland in future, I will definitely visit again!

They also have furniture, and I've seen several beautiful golden mirrors and frames in here too which i am dying to find the perfect spot for! Staff are really sweet and friendly, I've asked them before to keep an eye out for certain things and to give me a call if they happen to get anything like what I'm looking for in, which is great. Worth a look if you're around the area, you never know what you might find in these types of shops!

There's lots of fur, 80s style bomber jackets and jumpers, dresses, bags and plenty of denim. They don't (yet) have a changing room and the light is more decorative than revealing so do keep that in mind. The outfit you buy may look very different in broad day light. I was told that they'll get 'new' stock every week so hopefully they'll do something about the (lack of) light situation soon and I'd be a regular in here.

It is definitely the best in Dublin in terms of the wearability of lots of the items. But, Harlequin, well I would wear basically anything sold here in a flash. They also sell some really cool leather bags, the kind of bags you see some jerk walking down the street with andyou just know it's vintage and you'll never have it, ever. And you want to be the jerk with the purse that people hate too. Harlequin, I assure you, can get you all set up to be that jerk. Why does this place make me so angry, if it is filled with awesome clothes and accessories? Well, it happens to be the single most expensive vintage store I have ever been in in my entire life. And that's saying a lot, because I looove vintage. I agree with Laura that the transition from "used" to "vintage" is a mysterious one. Sure, you're paying for someone else to do al the legwork to find the good stuff in a world full of strange used clothes... but that's about it. It had such a wonderful stock of wide variety of vintage wares, knick-knacks, books, albums, clothing, many unique finds and my most favorite of course is, the vintage costume jewelry! I left her shop with a little bit of everything and a lot of the vintage sparkly jewelry. I found her shop to be like a lil treasure trove. St Vincent de Paul helps these families out in whatever way they can. The Vincent's shop in Dundrum is not one I shop in at all but I have donated bags of clothes to them regularly over the years. I think most people in Dundrum would be more familiar with the name "Fred's Fashions" for this store and probably still call it that. It makes more sense now for it to be called Vincent's though, they have now grown into a chain store around the country, great to see it doing so well, it needs peoples support to keep it going though!
