Wouldn't speak to me weeks after that, only had an employee speak to me. Started the job months after he promised he would. He told me numerous times he didn't have the money to finish my job (we had already paid him 26k at this point) because he used my money to pay for other jobs. I have him on video recording saying he's going to put in piers and everything else and never had any intention on doing it. His employees said he never paid them so there was period where no one was at the job site working. His employee said Eric told him to cut corners on the job and because of this our entire house is still uneven. We'll have to pay another foundation company 30k+ just to fix all his mistakes.

Ed Kaplan and Buckingham Group are the best I personally have ever experienced. Ed and team utilize project management tools I had experienced within major corporate projects. I was shocked to get this level of planning and execution leadership for a residential home remodel job. Documentation, reporting, design and drawings are exceptional. Beginning with the first orientation meeting with Ed, we immediately knew we were dealing with professionals. Ed listened to our dreams for a unique master bath and closet upgrade, then went to work with his team to design the perfect project with extraordinary attention to detail. Before a nail was pulled, we could see the project in its entirety with confidence it would be completed on time and on budget. Equally impressive is Buckingham's construction crew. Carpenters, Electricians, Plumbers, and many others are the best in their field. We always knew our home and its security were in good hands. Pride in their work is evident in final product and the minimal issues faced as "bumps in the road". Ed and team caught most challenges before I ever noticed and corrected them in addition to always keeping us in the loop with exceptional communication. Not only did they do the job as well as I could have hoped, but they weren't satisfied with that level. Because of my non-traditional door frame, the door knobs on the outside of front door and the inside of storm door barely touched when closed. I was just happy to have new doors and wasn't worried about the potential of rubbing the finish off the handles. However, HTH didn't let it go. About a week after finishing the work, they stopped by my house at lunch to let me know they'd been thinking about it and had an idea to adjust the doors so they wouldn't touch. And it worked. I was perfectly happy, and somehow things got better. Since then, I've had them install custom cabinets in my bathroom and do a full kitchen remodel when my mom moved into her new home. They also laid down new flooring for her along with fixing several off-kilter interior doors and cabinets in the house. They do great work on big and small jobs. Absolutely cannot recommend HTH enough. They're someone you can trust that will offer you a fair, transparent price for work that will be superior quality to what you would find almost anywhere else.

This meant I wouldn't need to deal with a lot of the paperwork and middle man stuff. I truly didn't want to mess with and simply wanted my roof replaced due to storm damage. My only hiccup was some confusion with them working with my insurance company as a preferred provider.
