Luckily, that was able to get corrected. The room was clean - carpet and furniture needs a little upgrade though. Friendly staff, no issues with parking, free breakfast in the mornings.

I am writing to express my concern regarding the billing practices associated with my recent stay…read more I prepaid for my reservation in full; however, I later discovered that the hotel was trying to charge an additional three times without authorization. This situation is both concerning and unacceptable, as prepaid reservations should not result in repeated or unexplained charges. Furthermore, the process of attempting to resolve this matter has been frustrating and lacking in clear communication. I was told it was a glitch each time. Luckily the charge didn't go through due to me putting a hold through my bank. Im assuming if the charge would have gone through, it would take 7-10 days to get my Money back. Which is unacceptable. I strongly encourage the hotel's management to review and improve its billing procedures to prevent similar issues in the future. I also advise future guests to carefully monitor their credit card statements when staying at this property. Also on a different note: I had a very uncomfortable stay at the same time due to constant itching from the moment I arrived. It made it difficult to sleep and raised concerns about the cleanliness of the room, especially the bedding. I hope management addresses this issue to prevent it from happening to future guests. I had to go to Walmart to purchase Benadryl to relieve my discomfort.

I completed pre‑arrival check‑in the day before, including adding my credit card and vehicle information for parking. When we arrived, no one was at the front desk and there was no signage indicating when someone would return. After waiting, a gentleman finally appeared. He was wearing a track suit rather than a uniform, and the computer screen at the desk was so large it completely blocked him from view. He did not speak at all, simply handed me the room keys and then gave me a form requiring me to re-enter my vehicle information, which I had already completed online. When I asked why, he said they can access it online but "like to have a printed copy too." If that's the case, perhaps the hotel should print it themselves. At this point, I was already frustrated. The elevator was extremely slow and felt rickety, which didn't help the overall impression. At first glance, the room looked okay. Then we looked closer. Mold under the bathroom sink A hole in the wall Bathroom light that barely turns on (See photos.) The biggest disappointment: the spa was completely drained and roped off. This was an amenity I specifically planned to use. No notice was given prior to arrival. Had I known, I would have canceled and booked elsewhere. Finding out after check‑in was frustrating, to say the least. If we didn't have a five‑hour drive home, we would have left immediately. We didn't bother with the free breakfast. The only positive is the location -- the hotel sits between a police station and a fire station, so at least help is nearby if the building gives up entirely. It doesn't look run down from the outside, which makes the interior issues even more surprising. Will not return. Will not recommend.

From the outside it appears as if this place would be odd and outdated but I quickly learned differently as I entered. Staff: I was met by a wonderful human being, Muma! She was kind and happy on a rainy AZ day. I really enjoyed her. She was also efficient and very helpful. Parking:Ample free parking Location: near freeway, restaurants, gas and lots of other hotels Room: renovated! I was a little nervous when I walked into the building I was assigned to but when I opened the door to my room there was hardwood, updated kitchen and clean 2bdr. It was nice because there were multiple entrances so I was able to park in front of the window Great stay!

Breakfast options include oatmeal with pecans, flaxseeds, cranberries, apricots, make your own waffles, English muffins, bagels, eggs, sausage, cut fruit, including cantaloupe. Tile floors in the dining area and coffee area were very sticky. Pool area are nice although no hot tub. The pool is outside. It's a very clean facility. Our room was functional, although missing a bit of art over the couch in my opinion. Also, I've never seen the back of a TV is part of the room decor. (Pictures included.) The building is not connected to the lobby, so you have to go outside to get back into the lobby. This location was $50 cheaper night than the East Mesa location for whatever reason so that's why we were here.

Our room was on the third floor about halfway down a long corridor, around the corner from the elevator. When we booked this property we had no idea how nice are room would be. We booked because it was one of the closest hotels to were we were headed for the evening. Room was clean with lots of natural light and the room temperature was set perfectly. We didn't use the kitchen other than the full size refrigerator but it was stocked with everything a person would need for an extended stay. Great in room coffee set up. Property quiet at night (other than my husbands snoring). Plenty of soft, white towels in the bathroom. Extra pillows and bedding for the sofa in the large closet. Check out is at noon, unheard of today. Can't vouch for the free breakfast we decided to bypass it and head home. As a whole this was a great stay. Only two things would have made it better. One, we never found the ice machine and two there was a very creepy man on our floor that wore rubber gloves and rode the elevator up and down never getting off.

Let's dig in deeper:…read more 1- When we checked in, I called the front desk to let them know that there was a lot of noise outside our room from the bar across the street from the hotel. I also requested extra blankets and pillows since we are a family of five with three kids. It took more than 24 hours to get us switched to another room. Also, when I went down to get the extra blankets and pillows, the front desk told me that they were out. I said to myself " the first thing the very same employee cared about when we walked in is to put a hold on my card for the room that is supposed to sleep 4-6 people, but when it came to supplying very needed blankets and pillows since, a quick answer came loudly "we are out!" The front desk never asked if we needed help with our luggage or bags. 2- The continental breakfast was another dance! Stations were constantly not clean. Food ran out frequently and I know I had to ask for more milk, fruits and orange juice because those items ran out quickly. It was the same exact food 4 days in a row. Not a single change 3- The pool was not clean with scattered tree leaves in it. 4- The room we were switched to was filthy with food debris or vomit on the curtains. (Picture attached). The mattress on both beds were hard and not comfortable at all. 5- The front desk employee who checked us out did not seem to be happy to be there. He seemed distracted and bothered at the same time. He was annoyed that I asked for my receipt! 6- During our 4-day stay at the Comfort Inn, our room was never cleaned once. 7- I can not believe this hotel has a 4 point something rating based on customer's reviews but I am convinced that at least 65% of the positive reviews for Comfort Inn Talking Stick in Scottsdale, AZ are either fake or posted by employees and/or their affiliates. WHAT A WASTE OF MY $451 THAT WE PAID FOR THIS ROOM. WE WILL NEVER STAY AT COMFORT INN AGAIN. SHAME ON YOU COMFORT INN!

The pool and jacuzzi were great - we had them to ourselves for a while! The room has a mini fridge and microwave. There were several lamps and sources of light. The staff was friendly! The breakfast was a nice touch - I know most hotels offer a complimentary breakfast, but I usually don't participate because of my food allergy. We went down & I got an orange juice and a coffee. They had options like egg and cheese omelette, ready to pour waffle mix, oatmeal, cereal, muffins, toast, tea, etc. I felt like the vibe was super easygoing and everyone was just doing their thing. We enjoyed our stay & I would stay again. Thank you!
