No one replied. Not even a courtesy "no, we found another respondent and the group is closed." I'm not sure if anyone actually works here other than the lady who called me, but in my experience the way they handled things was incredibly unprofessional. If this is how they treat focus group respondents, why would anyone want to commission a research study with them? They certainly won't get my vote if my employer, a large media company, ever needs a research partner.

After a full week without any response, I began to assume the business had shut down. I ended up driving there in person, only to find they were still open but short-staffed. I placed my order with someone in the back office, who took down my credit card information and filled out the order form. Three days later, I received an email saying my payment didn't go through. So I had to go back again, only to discover that the staff member had written down one of the credit card digits incorrectly. I provided the correct number and was told the signs would be ready in 7-8 business days. After two weeks with no updates, I called again and left another message -- and again, no response. I stopped by their store, and the employee at the front desk told me they had no record of a correct credit card for payment and my signs were not made. Frustrated, I asked to speak with the manager. Instead of taking responsibility or offering any assistance, he simply said he'd be happy to cancel my order and that I could go elsewhere -- without even an apology.
