I'm hopeful the company reads this review and handles this situation as they should have the first time. All companies make mistakes; it's how you handle problems that shows who you are as a company. I'd love to update this review because someone realizes they made a mistake and are putting customers at risk. We had a property website subscription for $99/month. Without warning, AgentMarketing charged me $266 April and $266 May because an agent in CA was suddenly "sponsored" by my account without my approval. I didn't notice at first because they don't email you invoices. I have to sign in and access them every time I do an expense report. This extra agent bumped us into a higher price tier. I told them we did not authorize this increase nor the new person - and to refund the money. She claims I manually added the agent to our account. I told her we do not know this agent and currently, we only provide mortgages in Texas and Colorado -- not California where this agent was located. She refused to refund the money for their tech glitch and claims I manually entered an agent I don't know onto my account. Now, I've canceled the account entirely. I didn't add the agent nor did I authorize the extra $335 in charges. From what I can tell, they have a tech glitch and they want their customers to pay for it rather than being curious and figuring out how to stop this from happening to another customer. The rep said, you REALLY don't know this agent? And then stated she would not refund the over-charges because she insists that I signed in and added this stranger. Girl, I'm located in another state and not licensed to close loans in CA. No, I don't know the agent and did not add her. I'm also the only person with access to this account. Makes NO sense. What does make sense is you have a bug in your technology and need to take a look. It was also interesting she said it was at the same time I updated my credit card. If I were your QA team, I'd test that theory on other accounts. When you update you CC, does it allow agents to select your account as a sponsor without authorization? Or did it trip an old entry from years ago to become live in my account? Many, many questions. But what I can tell you is I did not manually add an agent in CA to my account in March 2021. read more
