Beware - major fraud activity. I was using their site for processing internet orders for income and you very quickly reach a point where they ask for bitcoin deposits to cover shortages on your account required to make your first withdrawal. To accommodate that process they set up a scheme to fund your account by sending a "support" package. That consisted of 2 packs of checks for a legitimate company from a legitimate credit union but with your home address. They immediately ask you to take a picture of a blank check and send it back to them. When I refused they threatened legal action. Complete scam, they meet your resistance with threats and pressure. Do not engage with them read more

I would not recommend this place at all. They did come really highly recommended from a close friend. She told me they did seo and ppc. So of course I called and inquired. They have a fairly intelligent woman who took my call and answered all my questions. Then comes the bad. They assigned me to someone who doesn't appear to know what he's doing :( THE PROS: They set up a PPC for you that you can actually see what they are doing. They appear to have gone though a bit of work to set it up. THE CONS: they don't know what they are doing! What they did was setup a cookie cutter template. Their content on our optimization is minimal a best. They do no alt tags for pics page titles are poor etc etc. the guys that make offers from India have done me better in the past... It appears that although they did go through some lengths to set up a campaign, this is pox per instructions you can find on the internet, through the course of the campaign, little to no "effective" optimization has happned. I used a mom and pop PPC place before and got better results for dollars spent. It looks ill consider that again except problem there was they used their PPC google campaign. Guess i need to find something in the middle. Overall nice customer service, they try to work hard for you, just hope you don't get placed with a new guy like me or you'll waste your time and money. read more

As pointed out by Mike in his response, yes, they did reach out based on this Yelp review. I absolutely commend him (and him alone) on that initiative. So we're clear on the 3 star rating here, Yelp defines the stars as such: 1- Eek! Methinks not. 2 - Meh. I've experienced better. 3 - A-Ok If I could assign a 2.5 I would, but I can't so it's a 3 - here's why: I literally have experienced better. Being that we terminated our contract with Wpromte and have since seen dramatically better results with our current AdWords team, I 'd rather give them a 2. However, I believe that Mike really has taken the unfortunate case study of my experience with them as a means to better coach his team and that your experience with them will be better because of it. I place value on a CEO taking ownership for his team. I appreciate that the postmortem of our 5 months with them lead to better outcomes for clients who would come after us. I do think it's unfortunate that it came at the loss of tens-of-thousands of dollars on our part thanks to the mismanagement of our account, but I do believe that Mike coached his team through the areas that caused those damaging results to our campaign. I'm exceedingly happy with my interactions with Mike. I think he genuinely cares about the success of his clients and that this issue with my account legitimately was eye opening and frustrating for him to learn about. While we disagreed on the "how to best fully resolve these issues" their mismanagement caused for my company, I do appreciate the time, attention and effort he put forth in finding a solution as well as the middle ground upon which we eventually met. My advice? Be responsible and shop around. Learn something about SEO and AdWords before you blindly trust someone with your budgets. Online Marketing is still a wildly misunderstood space and there are plenty of people looking to take advantage of you. I don't think Mike is one of them, but I do think he has some people on his team that fall into that. Don't just be wowed by a nice client lunch or mentions of "elite Google partner." If something doesn't make sense, ask questions until it does. Demand monthly reports that make sense and if you don't read those reports, then that's on you. Overall, I'd absolutely reach out to Mike if I wanted to bounce some SEM questions off him. His team, not so much. But after a few exchanges with him, I sincerely believe that he will be working to bring them up to his level over the next few months and I wish him and his crew the best of luck in that. As many of you have messaged me since this review, please know that you are still welcome to do so, but also that you should contact Wpromote with specific questions about their services if you're looking for online marketing help. read more

I started up my own practice as a marriage and family therapist a year ago and hired WPromote with the goal of building a thriving practice through SEO of my website. Today I have a full, thriving practice and could not be happier with the results of WPromote's efforts. As my account manager, Helen Barden was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and extremely responsive to any of my requests. In addition to my website optimization, she also recommended a number of marketing tools that have brought customers to my door. I love the fact that she also taught me how to do all of these things for myself in the future. I would recommend WPromote to any business owner who wants to drive customers to their website, and create professional, far-reaching marketing tools that really work. read more

RIP OFF! You end up paying for a company to cut and paste articles that they send you so you can add them to your fb/twitter account. When you need flyers, they take days to come and aren't anything you could do yourself, especially if you work for a medium sized real estate firm... they offer it for free! The worst part is, when you call to have something done, they don't pick up the phone... and you sit on hold for at least 15 minutes.. they don't get the smallest flyer done for 1-2 days... and they just held me hostage for 60bucks because I tried to cancel my account but was again put on hold, too long to wait and for that one day... they are holding me hostage and said unless I paid, they would not cancel and would continue billing. As I told them, I will be posting this everywhere! read more

Fantastic company and culture! I would highly recommend Wpromote for all your company's SEO needs whether you have a small or large business. Their team has seriously worked magic for me and I can't thank them enough read more

run dont walk away from this company. It is a complete scam. I did the promotion for six months then they started calling that I owed them $59/month. I told them I wanted to cancel they said I had to pay the balance. When you try to call they keep you on hold for over one hour. The representative is very rude and doesn't listen to anything you say. I am still trying to cancel. I have sent letters to the better business bureau. read more

Business owner beware! If your account manager is a fresh or recent college grad know that they really are not paying any attention to your account, nor do they know what they are doing (besides following a script and being polite) There strengths are selling you on their service via nicely prepared powerpoints making ambiguous promises about ranking, their weakness are they try or try to charge you about $1,000-$1,500/mo for spending maybe 1-3 hours on your account plus the cost of google ads. Truly a terrible deal. Notice the 5 star reviews are dated and notice that the ones who may have gotten good service had account managers who have experience and actually know what they are doing. I would strongly recommend you not waste your time or money with this company. read more

AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I have been with Wpromote since 2013 and it has been the best decision I ever made. I am currently using their GoSEO and SocialBoost for my small business. I was fortunate enough while in Los Angeles to go to visit their headquarters and their Team, took me to LUNCH!!! Amazing Customer Service...from the moment I walked in to the moment I left! I have to say the people really make this company and I have had the great fortune of working with Dexter, Gabe, and Mike though the process of developing my web presence. Pros: -Amazing Customer Service -Facebook, Intsagram, Yelp, youtube, Google Plus setup professionally and with Wpromote taking care of it, social media constantly is engaging and promoting my business. This means I can focus on my work and serving my clients and not worry about the social media. -Any changes to web and social media taken care promptly by my Wpromote manager (Dexter) - Since starting with Wpromote I had to create a new domain name in 2013....today I am on the 1st page when you do a general search for my business type in my area and I am always 1 or 2 top of the page -Monthly analytics are give such as: where searches are coming from, how long people stay on the page, key search words, and which page on you site is the most clicked -I can call my Wpromote manager anytime, and he always contacts me monthly to go over the previous months web report and suggestions to promote my business for the next month -My revenue has more than doubled...easily justifying paying for the monthly fee for the Wpromote Cons: -Wish they were located in my hometown, I had such a great experience visiting their headquarters I wish I could go back again!! In short..."Customer Service" is the most important aspect when choosing to work with a company. If customer service is equally important to you, then Wpromote is the best in the business! read more

I've had the privilege of working with Bill at Wpromote for about 6 months now. He is without a doubt the best SEO consultant I've ever worked with. He has been excellent at setting reasonable expectations for search rankings and moving methodically towards them. He clearly knows his stuff, and has taken the time to understand our business very well. I think my favorite part about Bill is how he has taken the time to answer my numerous questions, so I can understand what he's doing, why it works, and how we can internalize this knowledge as a company for all of our future web marketing initiatives. read more

Wpromote offers great customer service that truly makes them shine above the rest. My account manager, Stephanie, was quick to respond to my emails, was always eager to hop on the phone, and really wanted to take the time to ensure I had a great experience. I have been receiving SEO services for my business website for about a year now, and am very much impressed by the results they have achieved for us. It's interesting seeing how negative people can be when writing online reviews! In light of my initial skepticism on how WPromote was wanting to optimize our website, I have come to realize that they really know what they're doing! Our website went from having 40-50 hits/month to now close to 1,500 visits/month!!! This is incredible! Additionally, I get notifications on a monthly basis how we're climbing to the top three hits on Google for many of our keywords! I think that WPromote is unique from their competition in that they do CUSTOM TAILORED content! Be it optimizing content on the website, Facebook, or even blog posts! I'm very happy with our assigned manager, Miss Megan. She's very easy to get a hold of, turn around times are super fast, very friendly and professional. Bottom line: WPromote is: Professional, custom tailored, and they get LOTS of traffic to your site! They understand Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc and they got me to the top. Thanks Megan! www.picassosmiles.com read more

I came across Wpromote through our website designer as I was looking into improving our search ranking in a new market. From the start they were honest and realistic about expectations. To say the least, they have met and exceeded mine. Bekkah, our SEO specialist has taken our search ranking from almost nonexistent to the first page in just a few short months. The monthly meetings are on time and well prepared for which makes the most of valuable time. I can't thank Bekkah and Wpromote enough for bringing us to the top of the page!! read more

Working with Wpromote has been very fruitful, but ultimately futile. We've decided that we're best fit to move our services in house and use the experience and Wpromote to enhance our processes and procedures. When it comes to an agency they offer great services and product, but for us it meant taking an unnecessary step with building communication channels that we saw as duplicate. Will recommend to colleagues that need a solid marketing service, but when their ready to upgrade I might go somewhere else. read more

Wpromote was instrumental in helping springboard our small startup into a thriving business that has grown dramatically over the last 10 years. Ecommerce accounts for over 97% of our sales and in an industry where competition rapidly became very fierce we really credit Wpromote for their ability to manage our adwords campaign cost effectively. They allowed us to focus on what we do best and helped us carve out a substantial and loyal customer base that has kept us strong to this day when many venture backed competitors have fallen by the wayside. read more

We've been working with Wpromote for about 6 months now and I can tell you the difference between WP and our last agency is night and day. I have really enjoyed working with WPromote. But, the standout for me is Geanna Culbertson, who is a rock star SEO expert. Geanna always seems like my biggest fan, and also my inner voice telling me "woah Nellie!" when I have gone off the rails or in a direction she doesn't think will suit my business. It's like having a board of advisors in Geanna. In addition, she has an innate way of explaining the most complicated SEO concepts in simplistic terms. I trust her. And, I know she has my back! I wouldn't make any decisions about my online strategy without Geanna. Thank you! read more

They are the worst service providers. When they want your business they will call you & create this marketing script that will make you buy. I have taken their services & in last 5 months they stop posting every few days. when you call them their customer care lines always busy & we have to remain on the line for almost 2-3 hours to get through the call. Pathetic customer care. they take your money & then don't service. they will not refund. Basically cheat on you after taking your money. Stay away from them as much as possible. read more

We hired WPromote to help us get ranking for several keyword terms, paying $349 a month for a year. They said they would start with a few easy terms and would add to the list as they got ranking for the keyword terms. They choose several keyword terms, neither would bring much traffic, but I agreed thinking once we got those terms ranked they would move on to better keyword terms. The first term got ranking within three months. I've never gotten any traffic from this keyword in almost a year. The second keyword never ranked on the first three pages of Google, I received emails and calls every month where they explained a new tweak they would make that would help, after ten months I received an email that stated they could not get that keyword ranked and that I could either be let out of the contract early or continue paying the monthly fee and they would try another keyword. I was not happy, I said you must be kidding, your going to charge over $3000 and give me absolutely nothing for my money. They said the work they did would help me even if I did not rank for those keywords. I asked them if they would get me ranked for a keyword that brings some traffic, even if it was for something that only brings 100-500 visitors a month, without charging me more money for doing it. They were rude, unapologetic, and told me hey, you agreed to this from the start. You knew we don't guaranteed that you will get ranking. I told them I would never ever charge someone for nothing! I would make sure my clients are happy or at least satisfied that they received a fair value for the money they spent. I received a final email from the guy in charge of my account that said, "You are free to be as unhappy as you want but I would imagine that our product support department has already spoken with you about the possibility of a refund". The company advertises that they do SEO for many large companies. I wonder if they are paying for nothing and don't know it. I looked for reviews on this company and did not find any, I know $349 a month is not a lot of money to pay for these types of services, I wanted to make sure they could do the job before buying a bigger package and I'm glad I tested them at that price before paying any more. read more
